our five year old daughter was fascinated by my painting. So I just bought her her own little painting to do. She is happy now, to do it, while I‘m doing mine. Hers has round drills and only a few and mine has quared drills with painting size 60x80cm , so it‘s better, she‘s got her own.
My oops. Well there are more than one. Trying to work with more than one color when I’m tired. I will put the wrong color down and have to go back and pick it out. Also I reversed a cover piece and like to have never got it off. That glue is really strong. Mixed drills, spilled drills, you name it I’ve probably done it but I have learned so much from Natalia and Anna. Thank you. And thank you DreamerDesigns.
I never liked multiplacers they kinda of dont end up as nice most of the time xD My Oops moment was when I dropped my tray with all my drills onto my carpet LOL
Your comments on having drinks near your painting gave me a smile. I retired from making costumes for theater. The first thing you learn is to never have food or drink anywhere near where you are working. The only thing allowed is water in a screw top plastic bottle. It's such a habit of mine that I will still only have bottled where im working.
My oops moment was when I was traveling with a DO and some how loose paper got stuck to part of the canvas. Managed to get it off and the DP turned out beautiful.
Great tips. I’ve put the color I just finished using into the wrong container. Luckily, the colors were different enough for me to separate fairly easily. I’ve also caught myself putting the wrong color on a symbol on my painting. It’s almost impossible to figure out which ones I did wrong.
Awe yes that is very difficult! Definitely recommend using our sharp tweezers to remove certain colours to check underneath. Glad to hear you have managed to sort the other DMCs out!!
Thank you soooooo much for sharing. I just stated this wonderful hobby and art work. I appreciate you giving these Do Not Do tips. I’m so glad I watched. I know I would have made some or all of these mistakes. Now I know. Thank You!!!!
My oops was when I poured my off white in with my white. I eventually gave up on trying to separate them. Like picking sugar out of salt. And I know from personal experimenting that wax paper works horribly for baking as well. Parment paper is the best all around for it
I have 3 cats who love to sit near me. So I leave the cover on and place a towel over it, to keep as much fur away as possible. I also put my hair back as I have long hair and it can get stuck in the adhesive. BTW-Natalia, you have a beautiful smile.
A German diamond painting UA-camr discovered that you can get paper off your diamond painting without any damage. She used a baby whipe to remove the paper, let it dry for a couple seconds and the canvas was back to new and sticky 🥰
Natalia, thank you. I love the picture that is framed behind you. Do you remember where it came from? My biggest oopsie moment was using wax paper squares. They stuck like crazy after sitting for a few days, just as was mentioned. I had to throw the canvas away. Very sad. Thank you for this video. :)
Hi Natalia I Have Been Diamond Painting for A While Now And Was Just Wondering Since There Is No Big Book To Store Big Diamond Paintings Yet, How Do You And Many Other Diamond Painting Artists Store Your Big Diamond paintings? Thank you So Very Much. Love All Of Your Videos! They Are Most Resourceful And Definitely A Joy To Watch. 🙂💙💛🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Mutiplacers can be difficult. At first I just started with a 3-4 placer and now most comfortable with a 6 placer. I also found staggering and doing both vertical mixed with horizontal placement to prevent that line she talks about.
My first small painting had air pocket lines, which I was not aware of or didn’t think they were a problem, so my finished work has lines of drills sticking up a bit. Can this be fixed somehow, and how can I address this before I begin?
I just had my oopsie moment. I have two colors, ones are a deep purple almost black and threes are black. I got a phone call and when I came back to my dp I started putting the ones into the three areas. Thankfully I caught it after I didn't have enough ones and I hadn't moved on to another number.
one query pls- i want to know how to fill diamond painting with round drill....I know there would be gaps between each round drill. I just bought a peacock diamond painting and I want to know tip before starting. pls send me a link to it ...... thanks in adv
Tips for round paintings are the same as for square. We find that square paintings are slightly more advanced. You should have no problem with a round painting! Enjoy!
I agree with you on almost all your tips. But that tip about cats, well, it makes me crazy too seeing cats all over the canvas. Even if they’re not lying directly on the glue, hairs fly and the closer they are, the more likely you’ll get hairs on your project. I love them but my cats know the table is off limits when I’m there. When I’m not, my painting is covered and secure. Yeah, I still get cat hairs on the glue but not as many as there would have been had they been lying in front of me, on my canvas. (shudder)😱
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your experience! With pets its always a good idea to grab a magnify glass to look over the canvas once its finished and pick out any pet hairs etc. 😸 Our furry friends cant help it!
How do I get animal hair out of the canvas 🙄 my cat jumped on my diamond painting , i made a mistake by not covering it up when i went to the bathroom. She rolled and everything 😭 there is hair all over the sticky between diamonds, it is a round drill canvas so there is more adhesive revealed
Oh no!!! The best thing I can think of is to use our ultra precise tweezers and lots of patience! or maybe a dry, hard bristled scrub brush to gently pull up the fibres? If it is very bad (unfixable) and its on a Dreamer Designs canvas you can try to claim our 'Uh Oh insurance' by emailing us a photo :)
Hi I have a problem and I hope you can help me. I have been going along a nearly finishing my Diamond Painting and I came append an area on the canvas that the drills just slide right off..... what do you do to make them stick. This has happened twice! Please help me!
Thank you for the wonderful tips! My biggest oopsie moment was trying freezer paper on my painting. It looks and feels to me exactly like the paper that comes on paintings. It was fine at first and I was excited! The next day it was so hard to remove and left a film. Fortunately it was my experimenting canvas. 💕💎

Yes! Thank you for this. My little one decided to put a couple of drills in his nose... That was interesting. 😬

Next time put a sock over the vaccine hose and vaccine it up it won’t get sucked up and cling to the sock that I can individually pick off! 🙂
Great tips and advice.
My oopies was when I poured the wrong color into the wrong container. I am still separating drills. LOL💕💕
Awe no!! Classic mistake I think everyone has an oopsie moment like this ☺️
When you work on several paintings, do you have separate storage for each set of drills?

My biggest oopsie moment was when I put plastic wrap on a diamond painting. Impossible to remove! Lesson learned the hard way.
Oh no!! That must've been super disappointing! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Lota of great tips!!! Paint with Passion Dreamers! ❤❤❤💎💎💎
Thanks so much DeAnna!!
My oops moment was when I was traveling with a DO and some how loose paper got stuck to part of the canvas. Managed to get it off and the DP turned out beautiful.
Ooo! So glad to hear that you were able to salvage the diamond painting! 😊
Your nails are gorgeous!
I love your videos. They are so informative. I enjoy all the different videos you do!!!
Thank you Trudy!!

Oh no!!! Yes I imagine that would be such a pain! Parchment paper for the win! :)
Lots of great tips in this video!
Thank you so much for watching Dazzle Driller! 💜

Can you remove a drill after sealing?
I’ve done some of those moments, not pet hair, but my own!!! 🤪
Yes it is sometimes unavoidable!! :)
it was suggest to me to use more then one tray when this happened if not the first time or have bought a kit from amazon.

Thanks for watching and sharing your experience Amy! ☺️
It was from dreamer designs forest of nisene or something like that

I have only used multiplacer once and I really didn't like it. I felt I had much less control of where I was placing the drills!

What size is the “when September ends” canvas? Thx
We believe this is the 40x50 size large :)

How about if u make a cat painting -- the 'furries' would make it look authentic 😽🤣 !!
>^••^< But I love you and want your beautiful DP to have my scent on it to show you my love❣️😻
tricia melvin LOL so true, so true
How do you fix your canvas when you put the wrong color down?
What type glue to refresh stickiness on canvas?
I need to know this answer as well. This is the first video I have seen of yours. How can I find more of them? you are EXTREMELY helpful

Smart Cat! H/she just learned a quick way to avoid passing a Hair Ball😻 I LOVE Cats.
once I put paper on my diamond paint. I use Acetone to remove it. work magic

Will you help me too.?
Mine slip when it’s warm. The best makes it milk. Try to keep it in a cool place. But at the end, you can correct them anyway
The coffee-cup thing was horrible. Hope it will never happen to me😅
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you Manue!

sorry for your oopsie canvas Dinah. Something new i always test on the very corner of the canvas.
What a great idea to keep an experimenting canvas!! Great tip! Thanks so much 😊
If u finished your Vax u can use any Vax

Soooooo these just seem like common sense things.
This shit is hilarious! How to correctly open your package and how paper works! Hopefully she did not get paid to produce this xD
I have a hard time understanding Natalia. Accent too thick
I understood her perfectly.
