Hey Arthur.. I need an urgent help with my Riverside 500E .. So this saturday evening my engine suddenly stopped after having the bike for almost 1 year. The display was showing 55km/h while standing still. Battery on 85% , 0.0 Km to go. I checked all the cables. and connectors.. even the one inside the control box.. Everything is fine and tight. And the closest Decathlon service is 60 and 30 km by train... Opens on monday.. And I have to use the bike to be at monday at work at 5AM! .. What do I do ? what can I check for ?
I just buy a 920e riverside with this computer and it works. But I don't understand the value you put in "set 2". The mine has 10 as defoult. Someone knows which value corespont to what? Understood, it's on user manual. It's the stand by time in minute of the screen__!
finally:D sad though how it cant be increased atleast by a little (30kmh would be perfect) in the menu.. seriously considering replacing my riverside 500e by a est100 or a est 500 because of that. its such a great bike but i dont end up using the motor assistance in half of my tour because it turns off after 25kmh and i manage to get to 26-27 on my own most of the time. any idea what the number in the setting menu is supposed to mean? like the one that goes from 5 to 60. ive got 0 idea what its purpose is.
Fist of all thanks for your comment bro, i really appreciate it. EST100 or 500 is a good one, but technically its the same thing. Spending another 1000+ bucks on a the same e-bike is kinda not the best option. Numbers in this menu means: time before your bike goes to sleep when you stop and don"t turn it off with a button. from 5 min to 60 min :) When i saw that for the first time i thought is 60 KM per hour :D But no... i wanted to try to replace its controller. but i don't want to mess things around with this bike. i already tried to change my brake pads and its a pain in the ass, so i don't want to play with electronics. i got another idea. to built my own custom MONSTER E-BIKE. Like buying a new regular bike like off road model with dual suspension. then i will buy a central 1500W motor and i will build my own super huge battery to power it. i will be able to make it ride up to 100 km per hour (in safe area of course). What do you think about it? Should i try to make this project? :) i like building things.
@@ArthurBrassart yes sure spending another 1k is pointless but i was thinking about replacing mine. got 60 days left i think to return it. i dont know sounds reeeeeally complicated tbh and ofc illegal :D was hoping i could increase speed and decrease in the menu whenever i want. Wanted to disable speed unlock whenever im in the city, as police controls are a thing and use the speed unlock outside the city.
Hello, I actually made a new video, just don't have time to edit it. Yes, I found a way of speed up it and I will show a controller I bought + I will show my second new custom e-bike Riverside 1500E :) With 1500W Front Motor :D True beast, just waiting for a new more powerful battery...

Hi Arthur. I am thinking to buy this bike for commute to work. My job is 10 km away. What do you think is this bike will be ok? How often i can expect to charge the battary on standart mode?
10 km is a small distance for this e-bike ⚡️😅 by using mode 1 you will be able to ride around 100km i guess. BTW there is a better option in my opinion: ua-cam.com/video/5rX7VKilm0I/v-deo.html
Thanks Arthur. What is your height? What size of the frame you went for? I am 1 m 75. Decathlon size chart recommend medium size for me. I kind of on the boarder. My wife would like to use it aswell. I tried L in the shop was also good and M was not available on display. I think medium will be right size what do you think.
Arthur - I am planning to buy this cycle next week and i would like to know the battery capacity. Like in mode 1 how much it could run????? Economy - like 60 kms????? Kindly advice
Battery capacity is a big advantage of this e-bike. On mode 1 you can drive around 120 km on the flat surface without too much hills. Let’s say 100 km if you are a big and heavy guy 😃 Autonomy depends on the terrain, weather and your driving style. PS. Subscribe to my channel of you want to support me 🙌😇🤓
I’m actually thinking about buying the Rockrieder E-ST 500, i am thinking about going to the beach with it sometimes which is 40km away from my home, my question is is these bikes are fun to ride this long from your experience?
Thanks for your comment ;) Yeah, these e-bikes are pretty comfortable for long distances as well. Just one thing: I would recommend you replace the saddle with a more comfortable one. This e-bike has the best ratio of price-quality I would say. Btw I made a video about my custom e-bike with a 1500W motor. It's quite interesting as well.
