Thanks for the review Andy! My Grandpa really likes the T800 and W990’s so I will show him this video of the beautiful T800 here! (Nothing better then a good old KW w900l)
I drive same truck 2020, 411 gears , calgary to Vancouver, love it, pulls great, loves the mountains , we have 6 of these oldest is 4 years old all of them still drive great oldest just hit 1.6 million km, I have to drive it when my truck in for service, dont see much of a difference, great trucks
Those who said KW discontinued the T800 must've been either Volvo dudes, or keyboard truckers. The T800 can be spec'd to formats in ways that trucks such as the T880 and W900 cannot be built to, such as full-wide hood (T800W, super heavy hauler).
I like a T 800 with the Slick Profile, Air Scoop on curbside, back of Cab exhaust, Airodine Mirrors, Flat Top 72. Speced for logging, shimmed up Headache Rack, 24" Tool box on Curb side.
lol, the plug is above your head!! Loved my t800 but prefer 4.10's and 600 hp 2050 lb /ft for Super B's anywhere in the oil patch, gravel highways and especially in the mountains.
Would be interested in weight comparisons of all t and w model trucks. Trying to decide between t800, t880, and w900b. Daycab heavy specs 20000lbs front sprung 16000, 72" spread 46000rears
Nice truck! I’m very partial to the T800 and T880. We run a lot of Paclease units which I like except for the MX13 in them! Much prefer the Cummins! Also not a big fan of some of the Bendex Wingman system features found on our newer units. Overall though I would buy this truck! Would maybe prefer 4:11 rears with the 24.5 rubber but not sure. What do you recommend? I thought 3:91 rears would be more appropriate with 22.5 rubber.
Good question. My channel doesn’t focus on the other brands. It focuses on Kenworth and that’s it. When I sit down to order a truck with a customer that’s when I explain the differences.
Another great video, like you said, alive and well, same goes for the W900, I've been seeing an increase in T800s and W900s on I80 in Nevada where I live, goes to show do many people prefer the old style cab over the new one, both trucks have classic looks that never go out of style. Are the T800 high hood and wide hood still available?
I'm gonna have to ZONK! LOL. THE TV MOUNT. It's 2020 kenworth nobody has a tube TV anymore. So how can I mount my flat screen ? 🤔 Besides that sleeper makes me claustrophobic. Lol. Kenworth still makes the world's best but if they are still gonna make old school trucks they really need to update their storage in the sleeper. 🤷♂️ Imjs
Drum brakes? Are you serious? Do you still use drum brakes in North America? I drove a 2005 Scania last year with disc brakes all over. that's a 15 years old truck and it had better brakes!!!!
Disc are nearly impossible to break loose when they are frozen in the winter. Cost is a factor but when they freeze up you’re out of service basically.
I Live in Wales UK and I drove a W900 best experience in my life

Right on. Thanks for watching

Built a few myself.
That's also a favorite of mine. I love heavy haulers
Right on!

Kenworth T604 sized sleeper, just needs that Oxblood color interior
Now called Bordeaux
The Kenworth Guy you got that right, it’s gotta a be tough Truck especially when it shares its Alpha Numeric with a Skynet Terminator lol
I like the way that one looks Andy very unique
Cool!
How much is this beautiful truck?

By the way Andy you haven’t put up a 900 in a while
Спасибо за информацию! Наконец увидел слипер внутри. Собираюсь такой брать. Привет из России!
Do they still put the strait hood on the t800 I think they call it the high hood
No it’s discounted
What is the difference between air and cold start?
Studio sleep is my truck love it
✌🏻😎
Very nice truck!
Can you still get these with the 86 inch sleeper?
I'm good brother how are you and I enjoy watching your videos 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome Evan. Thanks for watching
Hi English man livening in DANMARK Looking in .. put together well
I don't see a 62" sleeper listed for the T800. On the website there's listed the 38", 72" & 86" sleepers. What is this 62" creature?
It’s an option. I have several on order and several I stock.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy Why wouldn't this 'option' be listed on the website? I'm just saying it's kinda strange. Anyway, liked the video, thanks.
I’ll have to look. Not really sure.

That’s a lot of work to figure out. Every truck build is different

Gearing all depends on what your application is, how fast you drive and where your operating.
A beauty truck. Would be great for lumbar haul in BC. I have not looked through your videos, but have you done a video on financing
No. That happens in person. Lol.
Love your vids. But why should I not buy a Peterbult h or Western Star etc? That kind of vid would be helpful Just asking. Thanks.

What's the retail on one of these trucks
And are these model good for heavy loads
When you coughed I was like COVID and then you said (it’s not Corona virus I promise). 🤣

Right on!

I don’t believe the high hood is still around. The wide hood is though.
nice🙂
Yup. Thanks tommy.
Enjoy your videos and nothing to do with you but a 2021 with halogen headlights, come on Kenworth get with the times.
Thanks for watching. Old school.
Would be nice to see options to order every light led or incandescent/halogens
Clearance lights are led and headlights have to be changed to have led

I would have to agree. Wish I had an answer for ya but I don’t.
They’ll probably discontinue the W990 first;)
🤷🏻♂️
Nice truck. Needs disc brakes all around and Davco fuel filter. Other than that. Just Saying. !
Ahh do not tell anyone that's better than the t680 Shh, because it is..

Sure do.
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy Why? Are the drum brakes better in anything than the disc brakes except of cost?
