Dear friends, today I want to invite you to make a small trip with me to the French Alps. I will be holding a workshop with French Escapade, Alps, France from August 31 to September 7, 2024. And traveling with French Escapade is always a great pleasure, because it always means delicious food and the best hotels. excellent program, but I must tell you that the photo is not of the French Alps, but represents the Alpe di Siusi, in the Dolomites in Alto Adige in Italy, in the background the Sassolungo group,🤩

Hi Michael, thank you for your uploads. Nice work. You use a limited palette and for your greens, you mix primarily Viridian. I have found Viridian to be a little "harsh" color, so I mix my greens with Winsor Newton Hooker's Green Professional (they don't have it in Cotman). Do you think this is OK? I find my greens to be really nice and more realistic. I'd love to hear back from you. Cheers!
I don't use Viridian, I use Phthalo Green Blue Shade. Yes, it looks terrible on its own. But it is important how it behaves in mixtures. From one green color I get all the variations of green that are possible. It is very concentrated and transparent, and all the mixes as well.
