This is a beautiful city with recognizable houses. I really like to walk here between flights, as most flights to Europe take place through Amsterdam. I took this photo about two years ago, during the pandemic, and it really looks like Amsterdam. So, we will try to convey this feeling on the paper.
By the way, I will be holding a three-day workshop in Amsterdam at Darya Mitta Studio, from July 7 to 9, 2023, painting cityscapes, landscapes, figures in landscape, 3-point perspective and composition. Plenty of different subjects and picturesque references. We will do intensive learning through a careful step-by-step guidance in the atmosphere of friendship and joy. We will spend 1 day in studio and 2 days plein air.

Was your paper pre-soaked? The soft yellow into blue is suggesting that to me.

Backside always pre-soaked, the front was past-soaked (you can see me soaking it after finishing my pencil work)
