Tamers is the best season because the condensed cast compared to Adventure allows the series to put as much focus on the Digimon as much as the humans. Impmon, Guilmon, and Renamon all had very well drawn characters. You do not get that type of character development with the Digimon in any other series.
That’s fair Digimon pretty much flips the bird to evolution theories. But I mean guilmon does have little dragon wings for ears so it’s not that out of the question his dark digivolving line would be leading into a dragon.
Interestingly, both Guilmon's Champion form and X-Evolution form are referred to as "Demon Dragon" types, though its normal form is just considered a "Reptile" type. I think the idea that Guilmon has dragon data within it wouldn't be too surprising.
Actually, dinosaurs and dragons are pretty much the same in Digimon. There is a reason for this. Dinosaurs (meaning "terrible lizard") are called "kyoryu" (meaning "frightening dragon") in Japan. So in Japan dinosaurs and dragons are "related" or straight up the same in a lot of media, including of course, Digimon. Greymon for example, being a T Rex with Allosaurus arms and a Triceratops head, couldn't be more of a dinosaur, but it IS a "dragon". Greymon belongs to the Dragon's Roar family and is a "dramon" type. So yeah, Guilmon, Growlmon and WarGrowlmon look like dinosaurs but are dragons at the same time, making Megidramon "make sense" in the evolution line.
Honestly my pitch for a tamers reunion (and it may sound stupid) but similar to the dark masters arc they fight the chaos generals (chaos piedmon,chaos metalseadramon and chaos blackwargreymon) they serve chaosdramon and his servant (made up from remnants of megidramon’s data) chaosgallantmon and we get a huge epic battle between gallantmon and chaosgallantmon and chaosdramon absorbs the data of the chaos generals to go neocimson mode yes I know they were featured in the video game digimon world 2 but I think it works Sorry if I forgot to punctuate

However, because all of the Digimon were inside of the D-Reaper at the time, they also started to devolve. Henry's father saw this as an acceptable sacrifice. (Why this didn't affect the kids, I don't know, but I can only assume it's because they weren't digital *technically* like the Digimon.)
This is the last Digimon show that I have nostalgia for it is neat that every single Digimon property before and during kept something that most other dub studios would have removed or changed alcohol, tobacco, signs with words, and Japanese food Pokémon had 4Kids ruined dub and Digimon had barely anything changed for the English speaking countries that Saban entertainment distributed to

Digimon don't have parents because they are born either by reincarnation or when a mass of data combine into an egg (look at Parrotmon from the first ova to get the idea). I think World 2 is the only place where parentage is ever mentioned. They also don't have genders as you can have something like Salamon evolve into Angemon, then into Angewomon, and finally into Saraphimon with out it being confusing. Hell, Taomon is voiced by a women in Tamers but a man in Next Order.
Yeah my theory on the whole Takado creating Guillermon is basically this he already exist it just that in the South quadrant of the digital world his species never migrated to or went extinct Because remember one of his evolutionary lines as megidramon who is a member of the four great Dragons so I wouldn't say he created Guillermon more likely just reintroduce new species of Digimon to a quadrant that their not normal found in
Tamers is tied with Fusion as my favourites, but I've only seen up to the undubbed season 3 of Fusion (episode 16), 14 had crazy silhouette characters at the end. Don't spoil anything, it's my style that I go into a new show as blind as possible. I started with finding Fusion, and watched the whole of dubbed Fusion in September 2020, not knowing all the references until the rewatch last week.
The only thing i hate about tamers (aside from rika being a bitch to takato in the first 9 episodes) is the battle of adventures movie I legit thought it was gonna be crossover with the first 2 teams I mean omnimon is in the movie but no it feels more like an hour long episode and it’s kinda boring because all they do is fight digimon with no context and omnimon is here just because and he can’t leave the dimension because no seriously they don’t explain why he can’t leave the dimension even takato at the drop of a hat knows who labourmon and gulfmon are without looking at his digivice also labourmon dies and I don’t give 2 sh🐬ts because they treat as an unlockable item to beat a boss in a video game. This movie could’ve been so much better if it was a crossover with the adventure teams or Matt and tai omnimon can grab Henry and rika and dimension hop them to takato but can’t grab Matt and tai to help why is omnimon here?! He does absolutely nothing I watched this movie on UA-cam in my high school days to see if it was exciting and it wasn’t it was boring I legit thought battle of adventures meant a team up with the adventure teams. It sucks that the closest thing we get to a digimon team up is that young hunters episode where the leaders fight a bunch of myotismon and everyone else is a silhouette like with everyone trying their hand at multiversal crossovers it would be nice to see digimon do it
I did think there was a slightly interesting progression to the seasons. In season 1, Digimon Digivolved. In season 2, Digimon Digivolved and fused with each other. Season 3, Digimon Digivolved and fused with humans. Season 4, humans became Digimon and fused with each other.
Terriermon ALSO appears in 02 of all things in Hurricane Touchdown & The Golden Digimentals (The Digimon Movie), Terriermon can also Armor Digivolve through Gold Armor Digivolution (Terriermon's Tamer is Willis in the Films, NOT Henry/Jianlian Lee, and also the lack of Biomerging) Terriermon can both Armor Digivolve and Biomerge, which is insane. It's weird seeing Terriermon in these 02 films considering that Digimon Adventure (1999) JUST ENDED in America, and Adventure 02 STARTED AIRING in America, almost a year before Tamers would air in the US. If you've seen the Digimon Movie BEFORE Tamers, than you definitely seen Terriermon a year before Tamers aired. Unfortunately Davis is even more annoying in the 02 films because of him traveling to the US to meet Willis, even in Tamers.
I specified that the Willis connection to Tamers is only apart of my shared universe lore. The anime still keeps both universes separate making both tamers have the same partner just a coincidences.

Though it was weird when you said that the reason why Renamon didn't get a cgi animation for her ultimate evo was sexism. I wouldn't say that's the case, bcus the reason why Guilmon and Terriermon get a cgi sequence is to show off how robotic they are or being more futuristic in a sense. I guess the reason why Renamon stays with 2d is bcus her evolution is quite traditional.
While I do like his videos, he calls sexism on a lot of things that I don't think fit. He tried to call it when things happened to Kari during season 2, but Yoli was a girl and treated much better. It wasn't sexism, it was just that the writer didn't know what to do with Kari.
The devas are based off the Chinese zodiac if your gonna try and spread information make it correct. Also rika it the matt equivalent of the season not henry
man, some times I need to thanks so much the brazilian versions of the series of digimon are not based on the inglish dub, except fusion, but fusion it's just a collective delusion, so it's fine, i'm just saying this because I never thought how some countries never have the chance to listen the original ost in they dubs, this make me a litlle sad to think XD

I would argue frontier is second best to this because you’re splitting the main cast in half.
Gatomon goes from puppy to cat to to angel to dragon, so I don't think we can say Guilmon is a dragon just because of Megidramon

I honestly forgot Omnimon has a 10 second cameo at the beginning of the film. Otherwise it has nothing to do with the Adventure/02 universe.
