Just got back this afternoon from two nights canoe camping in Vermont, very windy Saturday ! Those are five great pieces of gear ! I’m not sure if I could pick five 😅 For luxury items, my Chair Zero would rate fairy high for me ! Anyway, great video ! Happy paddling !
I was able to get out for one night this weekend too Craig. I hope your trip went well. Wind is always a killer. I have a Helinox Ground Chair that was likely item #6. It is way better than sitting on a bear can. Lol. Thanks for checking out the vid.
Only did one canoe trip so far. Loved my Helinox Chair Zero and my Schwarze Biene table. Definitely the BeFree too. Probably my MSR Titan Kettle and Nitecore NU25 headlamp to round it out.
Well , I've got 2 of your gear , the Silky and the lantern. Really must look for that NSR carry bag . I do count on my favorite the Nemo bug shelter for canoe tripping in June here in Québec, makes life easier. Thanks for sharing
The 100L NRS Bill's Bag is the cornerstone piece of my kit. Great bag. A good bug shelter can sure make life easier. I have "The Original Bug Shirt". Have you ever seen that Bon?
I used to use Fiskars aces but found their strike too light. Switched to Estwings and love them. Possibly more durable as well. Luci lights are great too.
I originally had the fiskars saw because I like their axes... and I also have their pole saw. But ended up loving the silky for canoe camping. I never tried the Estwing. I have a couple Luci lights... and bring one from time to time. Very lightweight and packable. Thanks for checking out the vid.
The four little arms on that jetboil adapter each rotate 90degrees. Then you twist the whole thing onto the top of your jetboil to keep it in place, you can put bigger pots on it now!
Thanks for the heads up. I use this smaller setup when doing lightweight solo trips. I also have the Jetboil Genesis Basecamp I use when I want a serious camp kitchen. Thanks for watching.
Hey no worries. I'm glad to help. They are NRS Boundary Boots. I love them. You can Google them and likely find them on sale. Here's a longer video from a cold weather Autumn paddle where I really put them to the test: ua-cam.com/video/XofMvHuwiVM/v-deo.html
I took me a while to settle on which Silky saw I wanted... there are so many good options. I've never tried the gravity filter systems... I know a lot of people love them.

I agree. The toughest choice was which one to get.

Your list is almost exactly like mine. Only two slight changes for me. I have the Silky Outback saw and use a Platypus GravityWorks filter.
