@stefanschuchardt5734 you should always leave software on max, and just change in game gain to what you like. That way you'll get the best detail from your wheelbase.
@@aubreycolemanracing That's 4 questions I had that you have answered in this video and in the comments. Thanks a lot. You are the man. Just got a DD2 in the Black Friday sales and have been having a bit trouble dialing it in. Can't wait to try it again.
I did a 20-lap race at Le Mans this afternoon. The AI 'helped' me off the track twice. I think both times I was slow coming out of Chicane Michelin and got pushed out of the way. Slightly annoying, but the problem will go away if I learn to take the chicanes faster. I've had a couple of goes at the Porsche LMDh and it's pretty good. But I really like the new Porsche GTE car. I managed to set a personal best around Mt Panorama today. A good few seconds short of the current record on AMS2, but finally getting down to real-world driver times.
For me it’s always been the best car in the game, even when others have felt disconnected or slidey the Porsche GTE has always been good. Not sure what they have tweaked on the ffb but it’s better than ever. Using Default profile gain 70 everything else 0. Same Fanatec base settings as you but with NIN and NFR both 0 as I’m sure the bug has only been fixed for the DD 1&2 and not the CSL DD.
What bug? Fanatec or AMS2 bug? I have a DD2 (thanks to Black Friday Sale) and have been struggling to find a good setting for AMS2. Will give Aubrey's setting a go as they are different to most I have seen.
@@untrainedprofessionals2374 In the Fanatec recommended settings for the CSL DD it has NIN and NFR at 0. In the firmware release notes it makes reference to a firmware issue with using these settings. In a later release it said this had been fixed for the DD1 and DD2 but was still a work in progress for the CSL DD.
In AMS 2 to avoid clipping and to use full dynamic range of the FFB you should put ingame to 100 and reduce the car specific FFB setting. You did it the other way around.
I agree with all, except for the dive bombing AI. I find that it feels like tit for tat, because I dive bomb them 😂. But seriously, I love how hard they fight back now. Also, in a mixed classes endurance race, I find it pretty cool how the Hypercars flash their lights to pass. That, the blue flags, and Crew Chief warning me of faster cars approaching feels extremely “real”.
For the Default+ is clipping at fast corners a lot. I guess I'll need to experiment more with the settings, but for now I use the custom file. I have Moza R9.
I’m new to automobilista and cars in general are you using a preset car or did you make it yourself? If it is a preset car which one is it? Also do you have to buy the Le Mans track?
bonjour , merci pour la video j adore les gte dans ams2 et le circuit du mans est magnifique . petite question que pense tu des nouvelles lmdh et gt3 gen 2 ?
I think I understand!🤣 I've driven the gt3 gen2, and lmdh, both great to drive, the lmdh needs a bit of work, but still good fun. I'll do a different video with them.
My in game ffb setting, 65 gain, everything else on 0, using default plus.
same here on an Alpha Mini
@coulthard2006 keep in mind, the more damping you do, the more detail it removes. But if your happy with it👍
What is better, max gain in game or wheel software?

Nice Vid, I've been blown away by the update. Using the Porsche 992 GT3 (Gen 2). The thing is alive it's amazing, will defo give the GTE a go.
Thanks!
The Porsche 911 GTE was my favorite car in AMS2... I haven't tried it since the update, thanks for the heads up...

you mean the 992 gt3 gen2?
god I will never get over the sound of the 991.2 rsr
It's one of the best!

I echo your thoughts on this game and it’s FFB. The sim is a blast to race in now!

If you want a serious challenge, try running the Sauber C9 against LMP1 cars with the AI turned all the way up.
Great Video! Thanks for sharing. The graphics looks fantastic, whats your setting like?
I use a shader mod, it's on racedepartment, I think it's called "realism" 👍

@simsfamily6238 I'll find it and let you know. I also edit my videos a bit too.
Have you tried using the Kuku rFuktor custom ffb file before? How does it compare to your Default+ settings?
I used to use it some time ago, but now default plus is better now.

The Le Mans track will be part of a DLC pack (endurance pack part 1), the car I'm in is the Porsche GTE, which is in game and not a mod.

What are your in game settings? Are you using def or def+
Just pinned it, def+, 65 gain everything else on 0.
dive bombing not realistic?
Not like this.
hahaha my thought exactly
I’ve heard from people that this game feels simcade-y, not talking about the dive bomb tho
