As a returning player after 20 years, I’ve been having a really great time on Teek. I haven’t had any problems finding groups, and have met lots of great people, but because of my limited play time I’m still in my 30s, so I can’t speak to anything past that.
Do you have an idea how to set that up? I have OBS and a webcam off the main computer for the multibox, my main recording area is not attached to the everquest area but I would almost need a webcam behind me to capture all the PCs or something and maybe some of the screens recorded as well, maybe a multi camera setup of some type. I agree it would be cool but I've never had equipment in the right area to try to get it done.
@@vanman2099 unfortunately I don’t, would require a lot of editing but, I do think it would be cool to see you do a couple of pulls at a camp, even with a 6 man only your main tanks pov with you explaining what’s going on. I just think it would be something cool to watch and for someone that’s newer to multi boxing to pick up little tips and tricks. I just thought it could be a good video and to see what it’s like for one group to do a whole camp even for a few pulls. Multi boxing the true box way has always intrigued me and your videos with your setup and everything has been super helpful, I’ve not got bravery enough yet to try a full 6 man myself but maybe one day.
I'd like to put Oakwynd out there. I've found that the per expansion server-wide bonuses (loot, exp, faction, respawn timers, alternate currencies, etc) means you can be a raider on a more casual friendly schedule, which is really, really nice. But there's still no-drop, so you can't just buy bis in every slot for some kronos. So raiding still provides that rewarding feeling (for me, everyone's different).
@@vanman2099 Yeah, and I hear tower gear is trivializing teek content as well. But on Oakwynd, its top-end group-gear. While I may sound down on Teek, I love the idea of a bunch of players excited about an eq server. I really hope they can clean up tower itemization in early eras. Of all the emulated servers I am the biggest fan of quarm. I find their client to be the most stable. And it's also the best emulation server on a casual friendly schedule.
@@Nelliesss Yeah the tower gear did trivialize a lot of stuff but it also killed some of the botting for those slots lol, but botting is out of control again there.
Left Teek for Oakwynd a few days ago. I missed the TLP release last year and Oakwynd is at a good spot to pick up and re-engage. Mostly, though, for the casual player like myself, Teek is just blocked content. Bored and krono-farming level 60s sit on lower level spawns all day. The combination of free trade and random loot created a shitty leveling environment. Probably fine for raiders who can instance their own zone. Meh. Buying all that sweet planar loot means nothing if you can’t explore content with it.
Teek is just for daybreak to sell Kronos, it's populated aye, with a holes kill stealing, all the fun stuff. There are good people but scammers galore. Just need to find a decent guild if you want to play or a raiding guild if you want to that. Basically the same as live in a year when mercs come marching. I would rather play on Quarm or live servers, but Teek is a choice.
I had high hopes when I decided to join the Teek Everquest server, but unfortunately, it has been a huge letdown. The most glaring issue is the extremely low population. It feels like I’m interacting with the same few players repeatedly, and it’s hard not to wonder if they’re all server admins just trying to keep the illusion of activity alive. The lack of communication among players is staggering. You’d expect an MMORPG to be a vibrant community full of interactions and camaraderie, but here it’s like talking to a wall. Conversations are almost nonexistent, and when they do happen, they’re rarely about the game itself-mostly just discussions about money and transactions. This focus on profit over community is disheartening and makes the entire experience feel soulless. Everquest itself is a legendary game that deserves to thrive, but the way it’s being managed on this server is contributing to its decline. It feels like the magic of Everquest is being sucked dry by a lack of genuine passion from those running the show. Instead of fostering a community and engaging players, it feels like the focus is solely on making a quick buck. If you’re looking for a true Everquest experience, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. The Teek server simply doesn’t capture the spirit of what made the game great. It’s a dying game, and the people managing it are doing a disservice to its legacy. Save your time and find a server where the community thrives, because here, it’s anything but alive.
If your life depends on it, do not, repeat, DO NOT, play on Bertoxic server, especially with Eternal Sovereign Guild and their toxic leadership. Without Due Process, they will remove you from their junior high school-like guild and steal all of your DKP points for themselves. ES is the worst guild ever.

Teek is a lot of fun right now and packed with players. I have been having a blast.
Quarm is great but playing teek atm and it’s so much fun. Love the vids man.
Do you ever do videos of you playing the multi-boxes? I think that’d be cool watch to see you doing a camp

Oakwynd must be kind of nice right now if all the BOTs left to go to Teek.
