I bought this guitar when I was about 16 at haight ashbury music center. I was and still am a huge Converge fan and I am so thankful I was able to acquire it.

I feel like this guitar suits Lemmo really well. Very cool, laid back, a little different, but definitely special...they have a lot in common.
That was my dream guitar as a kid staring at Musician’s Friend catalogs. I graduated high school the year that was made.
Funny but before you started playing Phish, I got Phish vibes from it. It is the coolest looking guitar ever.

Rickenbacker made (and continues to make) some pretty cool guitars. I believe this is the first solid-body Ric seen on GOTD, not counting the 4000 Series basses that have been featured.

Wonderful demo! Rickenbacker 650 series guitars are incredible. I have a 1994 650D Dakota which has the maple neck-through and walnut wings. It has a wide neck that has a satin finish. Incredible guitar that's really versatile!

That is a fabulous guitar and wonderful playing! Something that really caught my eye is the bridge. I've been searching for these. I have a Modulus Genesis guitar with the same bridge also built in California the same year.

Some of post Malone’s songs are actually very great when you break down the elements and take the pop part out of it. Just like how you did circles. Feeling Whitney, and Stay also great songs to play on guitar.

very cool guitar , gorgeous color , great look withe the stripe and the mirrored guard , and a cool sound , I thought the bridge was especially bright and raw , I think you could do a lot with this guitar , many different genre's , and if you had talent like Lemmo , includiing his talen with the looper , you could create some great songs , a writers rig for sure , thanks guys.

Fantastic demo! I had a 650A/VT. Its lead voice was phenomenal. I parted with because the neck was too chunky for me. Ace guitar overall.

Wow, I’ve dreamed of a Ric, but the necks were too thin. The color and the neck are perfect.
Yeah I have the same problem with the thin necks. It's like playing a baby guitar cuz I got big jumbo friggin' hands. It's like the fingerboard isn't wide enough. I have the same exact problems with Les Pauls. Trying to squeeze all my fingers together just trying to do an open E..... Fingerboard needs to be wider...

You actually took the time to do this....
The HB1 pickups can be dropped into most Ric, BUT you need to change the harness as the stock harness can't support. I have one in the bridge of my 320. Plan on dropping them in the other two positions.

I have never fallen in love with a guitar at first sight before. this is beautiful and sounds unique. I have a 370 that I just acquired before the world shut down. So I am already predisposed to like the R sound. But this is different. “Don’t have much money, but, boy, if i did” I’d buy an Atlantis 650a in turquoise ...

Lemno is a great player. This Ric did not sound like a Ric. I missed the Chime & the Jangle of a Ric. It does not sound as good as it looks. The humbucker pickups were sad. There was no body to the sound. This must be the reason they are not made anymore.

ML's ability to play is not in question. However, the overuse of echo, damping, too delicate strumming and picking so you can't tell whether it's a cord or a note are in question. Then there are the snippets, always snippets...ugh. ML, Clean up the tone and play a friggin' song; let the guitar speak with its own voice.
Yeah, as a demo for the guitar, it fails rather spectacularly.
