    I like the concept !
But people can't drive responsibly, or fly drones responsibly either.
This shud be, Pilots only, geofenced, paved roads only and air traffic monitored.
Whatcha gonna install as propeller guards ?
This has Bond, Sly or Arnold's next action movie, written all over it ! (Chopping off villains heads & flying away)

Very long time for this to happen in the US but China is advanced enough and has the gov't structure to make it possible. Also will need to see the ROI and in America we already have the helicopter taxis and the restrictions around that. You can't just wheel one out of your garage and takeoff and land anywhere you want. But nice to see the advancements we'll have in a few decades.

Love the futuristic Electric flying vehicle !
They definitely sale like HOT CAKES FOR THE RICH .
Let hope these Electric Flying Vehicles has many safety features on their Autonomous Flying Radar Sensors so they don't crash into each other?
All they need now is an take off and landing airport .

Another big issue with flying cars is the battery. On other videos on electric flying cars that I have seen is that the battery life is at most maybe 25 minutes.

@@larryo6874 The actual vehicle isn't that important and will keep improving over time. The critical work, as Alex mentioned, is all the air regulations around the new personal method of transport.

This is a baffling episode. Didn’t you live for a while in Houston? Can you imagine rush-hour in Houston with flying cars? Think about it for a minute. The death toll would be staggering.

I'm a pilot, and there is no way I'd ride on an overgrown drone quadcopter.
If the electrical system goes out, there is no backup unless there is a ballistic parachute system, and I have no idea how that would work with spinning blades from descending without power.
The Flying Car is just another "Solution" flailing around trying to find a "problem" to solve.

My analysis/prediction: Flying cars are useless and will never be anything other than a toy for rich people.
Why? Imagine my country The Netherlands alone. We have 9 million cars at the moment, now imagine just 1% of these being flying cars that's 90000 cars. The sheer amount of flight control supervision you would need to prevent these from coliding with one another and causing burning wreckages to drop in some poor sod's pool alone makes them completely unfeasible to be used at any large scale.
Futuristic idea, zero practicality imo. As someone else so aptly put it, it's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
You need to travel longer distances at speeds faster than a car can go? Get on a highspeed train, commercial helicopter or jet. And if you live in a big city WTF would you need a car to begin with, the best transport within large cities already exists and it's called the underground/subway.
