- We have launched this film as part of Drowning Prevention Week 2014 and it is aimed at secondary school aged pupils and upwards.
This year's Drowning Prevention Week targets 11-15 year olds as well as grass-roots primary school aged children, in a bid to help avoid a tragic repeat of last summer when more than 30 people lost their lives to drowning in just seven weeks, many of them young men and boys, and it is hoped this new short film will help drive the message home to young people.
The hard-hitting film, developed with HROC and produced by Chrome Productions and Artem SFX, focuses on a young boy who meets his friends near a river and takes part in a dare which has tragic consequences. Please share to hopefully save lives. #preventdrowning #DPW2014
