Build a sturdy projector mount yourself for cheap! UHD65 mount!

Here I build a low profile projector mount out of readily available materials. I got the steel at home depot. You'll need a welder, something to cut steel and a drill. Grab up some paint in your favorite color and voila!

You are the best! is got the uhd60 and that sucker does not have keystone feature, so i needed a flush or very low profile and you gave me an idea, so thanks for it!

Pretty good DIY design, but overkill for a 16 lb projector. Each 1/2" bolt is holding 4 lbs. The mount must weigh more than the projector. I used to hang my 100 lb CRT projector from a single 5/8" bolt.

Mostly like that because of the channel- those bolts fit perfectly and slide nicely. A smaller size would not. Additionally, they add rigidity I think. But yeah, from a weight perspective, definitely overkill!
