Hope you can help with this. I'm the same height as Rory, did anyone measure the distance from the ball to the toe-line? I struggle if I feel like I'm "reaching" for the ball. All other tips were spot on. Thanks.

My family built his house in Jupiter. I can attest that he is also a stand up dude even when the camera is off and is a “what you see is what you get” type of guy.

Moral of the story… none of us are standing far enough back, move the ball towards the front foot and spread your feet. Best lesson I’ve ever had.
By far enough back does he mean distance away from the ball or that we should be moving more to the right hand side/spreading our stance further?
@@davidt510 yeah almost feel like you're leaning too far forwards, especially with the hands out. Gives significantly more range of motion and prevents you from having to bend the arms in or stand up when swinging to correct for being too close
@davidt510 move more to the right hand side. Tee it up high, ball can be level with small toe of your front foot. Sweep up on it
For right-handed/right eye dominant people/goofy style, the left foot is your forward/front foot. Left-handed/left eye dominant/regular style, the right foot is your forward foot.

For a man worth hundreds of millions of dollars Rory has to be one of the most down to earth professional athletes of all time. Always willing to teach and a constant student of the game. Just takes everything in.

Met Rocco at my home club in Murrieta CA & was working cart barn….was scared to ask him about the tiger experience , and thankful I did. He lit a stogie and sat next to me in the golf cart and talked for an hour. Awesome pod. Let’s go rors!

I used to run into Rocco a few times a year at Champion Lakes. Have even had the pleasure of playing in the group directly after Roccos. Very cool guy.

Rory is a unicorn. A superstar who is approachable, brilliant and a man of the people who is willing to share the secrets about his craft. I am endlessly amazed by him. He's special.

Really great video. Rory is one of the greatest drivers of the ball in golf and he helps everyone watching when he instructs these guys. We all can take tips and implement them in our game. Little details that help a lot.

I’ve been around pro golf for 30 years. I can honestly say Rory’s drives just look different; it’s not subtle. He absolutely pounds the ball. A few years ago at the Travelers he hit one something like 430… 60 past anybody else all week. It’s impressive. He’s also just a great genuine dude. Always been a fan, always will be!

This was awesome. That whole tip about firing the right pocket at the ball and sitting on the right hip is money. Actually everything he told the boys was money. Gonna have to take that to the range myself.

It's nice and speaks to his character to see Rory get excited and celebrate with someone who improved and hit a drive 20 yards further than before, even though it's 100 yards behind Rory's own drives.
If you had to choose one tour player to play a round of golf with, for me it would have to be Rory. Down to earth, fun and full of knowledge which he is willing to give.
