Joe- I would like to see a video that is a complete repair of a pump. It would go from initial troubleshooting until packing to return to the customer. I also suggest training Robert as the camera man and showing more angles, ie where you marked the ends. I think you would gain more viewers. my 2 cents.
My question is, what would make a pump not want to turn? My Emerson 1081 1h.p. pool motor hums and shuts down until it cools off. It does pump until it overheats and shuts down. No leaks and no ventilation blockages as it is on a concrete slab. Obviously I’m a newb but I don’t want to spend $250 if I could rebuild myself.

You rebuilt Nothing, you just took it apart & reassembled it. What parts were bad? what needed replaced? Rename the video please.
