    In real life, while still angry at his rejection from WWE, Zak was actually a very good sport about it and went on to tag with Roy as the UK Hooligans.
    Also, Zak did get to appear on the November 2011 11th episode of SmackDown in a handicap match against Big Show.

      @@DasNordlicht91 The problem narrative with making her look like AJ Lee is the entire films was feeding the narrative WWE was full of fitness models and Paige defied it my being outside the grain and blazing the trail for all to come. Not entirely inaccurate but of course as Lita, Tamina Snuka, AJ Lee and others from before will show Paige was not the first to not have the "divas look". But the movie was telling the story she was, so having her face the champion, the top girl in the women's division who also didn't have the typical divas look contradicted that.

    • @nickchislom9499

      Exactly. McMahon is setting on a goldmine with Z. Vega.

    • @YaBoyEdGames
      @YaBoyEdGames 4 роки тому +1

      That was actually a good part of the production. I think if zelina didn’t have the inflection then it would have been a boiler plate promo which the movie had a bunch of already. But to let her cut that promo on that style helped tell the Hollywood narrative and give a slight nod for the wrestling fans. Best possible outcome.

    Ricky Knight was absolutely part of those tribute shows. He portrayed Road Warrior Animal 😆
    I owe a lot to the Knight family. I went to wrestle for a "major" international company that went bust, and had no idea what to do with my life. So I moved to the UK for a few months. They took me in, gave me regular work, and helped me out tremendously. I wrestled nearly every Knight family member on the camp shows. It was good fun. Seeing the movie was a real trip.

    It was basically a commercial for WWE, and it gave a broad overview of what it would take to be a wrestler with WWE. The movie wasn't made for a wrestling audience, it was made for a general audience to see what WWE is like- of course how WWE wants people to think it's like
