I just started playing with my first pad of Yupo this morning and I love it, I bought the clear, I learned the hard way to tear the sheet out first,lol, it does bleed through! I enjoyed watching you play with different methods and the card came out so pretty,thanks for sharing.

I changed the color of my paper with viva decor inks gold...I used mint green and did my alcohol ink on top of it...the. used my glitter duster on the paper...used a sponge to move the glitter around on the paper and used a sealer on top. I think it turned out great! No problem whatsoever when I change the color of the paper. Tfs!!!!

thank you for resharing this video for me :) the alcohol ink one reminds me of when we were little and went to the museum for school...and in the gift shop they had those flat disk gems, usually amethyst... this looks so much like that... i can't wait till i can afford the supplies to make this :)

Do you have to put anything over the top when you're finished to "seal" it?
I just pulled on of the pieces out and it looks the same and I can run my hand over it with no problems. It does not smear or fade for what I can see.
Is there any difference between the blending solution and the 91% alcohol in effects?
The blending solution moves the ink a lot faster then the Alcohol. That's the only difference I can tell.
Do you wet the paper before you begin?
For the alcohol inks you do not wet the paper with water. If your using brusho you can wet paper before or after.
I have just bought Winsor and Newton drawing inks and am waiting for isopropyl alcohol to arrive. I guess the best thing to do is just experiment!
