Arrowhead, clay shooter marble, military button, token, fatties, and largie. You checked all of the boxes in this video! Sites that have a little bit of everything are some of the most fun. Way to go guys!
It's always great enjoying another superb Hillsdale Boyz video! You got us so well conditioned to you running your videos every week that I forgot how much of a weekly detecting addiction I had! LOL
Thank you, I have two more in the bank to edit and produce. I should be able to run them into this falls first hunt and keep them going from then on. Beans should start being picked in 2 to 3 weeks. 🤞
Man the world works crazy. I got on here Saturday morning looking for a hillsdale video, then thought to myself maybe you're done with youtube. Then BAM I see this! Can't wait to watch
WHERE THE HECK YA BEEN!! Great hunt, love the bonus marble. Fields are turning fast up here. Was lucky enough to get into a couple hay fields recently. Found a few barbers and mercs, handful of indians, and a Canadian bank token. Hope you have a great fall season guys.
Thank you, it's been a few months since I've posted any new material but I've been making videos right along. I'm banking them and plan on starting back up sometime this year(probably the start of summer). Then maybe posting twice a month instead of weekly. I'm to busy to detect enough to be able to post weekly.
Yeah, that site was cool. It's not on the 1864 map or the 1874 map but was on the 1904. Enough older coins were found to make it seem like it should have at least been on the 74. Idk, maybe it was built in the later 1870s and burned in the teens or 20s, guess it's possible. Either way, it was a good site and probably needs even a 3rd visit by the looks of it.
The oldest coin I've found so far is an 1890 IHP and it was probably a mile from an old metal bridge structure that crosses a river and it used to be a horse carriage postal Bridge (they may have used those until the 19 teens or 1920ish at the latest) and it's also a couple miles from a small white church that says founded 1872 on it. I was over the moon to find that as I had only dug modern clad til then!
The Gleason that was found is a MI-450B-2a O.S. Betts Dealer in Watches Jewelry Silver Ware Hillsdale.....Mich. You can see the very end of ELRY in Jewelry.

@TheHillsdaleBoys no promises lol. We'll have to do some group hunts once these fields are cut.
Yea it makes me wonder how long the fattys got circulated. I once found a 1859 on a 1890's school site

Actually it is still legal tender
Looks like a "die clip".
