This was the first castle set I got as a child. I was really confused that the castle didn't have a back

Nice video. Really cool to hear your interpretation of the castle factions.

Have you thought about making a big castle with all black knight sets or Lion knights set combined like you did for the black falcons faction ?!?
For black knights you could open up the black monarch castle (6085) then place the black knight castle as a raised keep in the interior and then make connecting walls with this set and other pieces to complete outer wall.
For lion knights you could open up kings castle , use the 6081 raised castle as a keep in the interior and then use guarded inn , armoury and other wall pieces to complete the outer wall

I have made a few big castles but i would like to make more :) I really like the idea with the black knights castle as a keep. At one time, I made an addon to connect it with other castle sets.

Hey Marghal, nice review! I must make time to view your other videos.
I agree that the pins (antennas) being use for bars is a bit flimsy. I experienced this especially on my 6047 Traitor Transport.
The bit where you transitioned to talk about the calendar and say something like "and now for something completely different" made me laugh and think of Monty Python! Ha.
Was this set from your childhood or one that you've purchased since coming out of your 'dark ages'? Either way you're very lucky to have such great sets.
I look forward to further videos.

Thank you. Glad you noticed the Monty Python Easter egg! :) I didn't have this set as a child - I actually didn't have any Black Knights sets at all. I had the lion knights and black Falcons and later the Dragon Knights for some reason i missed the black knights.. I don't have the Traitor Transport either, but from what I can see, you are absolutely right. Did you have it as a child?

@@bricksofimagination6852 Nah, like you, I only had Crusaders & Black Falcons (and some Forestmen) as a kid, but since I've gotten back into it I've collected a lot. I hope to see you make more videos man, like maybe things other than set reviews, like haul videos and just relaxed thoughts on the modern sets being released.

@@bricksofimagination6852 I am the opposite of you both it seems, I had no black falcon sets and only Dungeon Hunters carriage for the Crusader/Lion Knights but I had many of the black knight sets!

“And now, for something completely different-“
I also really like the Royal Drawbridge/ Thunder Arrow Boat video. That Dragon Knight sure had a bad day at work. First he evidently overslept and was so rushed getting ready that he put on half the wrong uniform, then the bridge drops out from under him and he falls into the river, and then he comes face to face with a reanimated corpse under a bridge that raises all on its own. I wonder if he told Majisto he was quitting.

Did you misspeak here when discussing the lore? I figure the Black Monarch would be the ruler of the Black Knights, not the Black Falcons.
    Great review though.
If I had the set, I would remove the antennas and fill that area with normal 1 by 2 black bricks, and maybe change the Black Knights legs, since they look odd in all red.
On Steve's Lego Blog (a great site,) besides the all black Falcon with the black feather from the Castle Guard set, he theorized the knight in this set could also be the leader, since he is the most well equipped with the armor piece and visored helmet. No other Black Falcons have this.

Thank you I miss-spoke. Steves Lego Blog was actually partly why I started making these videos :)
