Is it British Racing Green? Eh, not quite. A little more blue in it. Is is stunning? Definitely. 5 out of 5. Love to see full scale over Black Cherry or Anthracite.
When I hear British Racing Green I immediately think of the Historic Lotus F1 cars, that BRG is a rich deep forest or evergreen colour, this colour, although lovely, has a strong blue tinge which pushes it away from what, imho, a BRG is. Once again the speedshapes at the end reveal some lovely varients, my favorite being Black Cherry followed by Anthracite Grey. These speedshapes are great and if you're not already doing so, I would strongly suggest that you put some screen shots on to your website as you work through these colours and pigments to give people more ideas for what could work well with their cars.
Yeah, definitely too blue. Its nice, but its not the real deal at all. Having seen plenty of cars actually British Racing Green in real life since I'm in the UK.
Another Brit agreeing that it's a little too blue; the Black Cherry base was a little closer. I wonder if mixing in, say 5gram/gallon of yellow would improve it?
What about over a dark green base to bring out more true britush green. I'd love to see a whole video of all kinds of speedshapes with different color base and pearl combinations
My exact thought. Was going to leave a similar comment but saw yours first. It's extremely pretty! I'm a big fan, would absolutely rock this on a sports car.
Not bad over the anthracite, I preferred the black cherry in the speedshapes personally. I really want to see what a candy black over anthracite looks like(thinking that's how I want to actually paint my car)
Idea for new series. Cover popular OEM colors. Color shifts are cool. But they start to look the same over time. This rendition seems a little too blue IMO. It could be the satin. BMW malachite green, oxford green, would be great to see.
That is definitely a nice color. and yeah, the wheels really do compliment it. As for the others. Pure Purple: 2/5 Flex Blue: 1/5 Anthracite Grey: 4/5 Black Cheery: 7, just straight up 7 White: 1/5
I love how honest you always are even when it makes you look bad, it just adds quality to your videos and makes them genuine. Thank you and keep up the great work!!
Another gorgeous job guys. 5/5 No offense but I would put any of your crazy experimental colors on my vehicle. You guys always surprise me with any of your paint jobs....I always look forward to Fridays because of your videos. Thank you both for the awesome job!
Please more of this! I've been waiting for you guys to get back to real colors for a while! It's so cathartic to watch the process when it's something I envision on my own car
the green and bronze look good together. I really like the green in satin too...i'm usually a 'shiny and sparkly' kind of guy but that really looks good in matte/satin
One of my electric guitars is in need of a new paint job. This green pearl is what I need, over a blue or pueple for sure. I don't spray the plastidip coating but this pearl will go perfectly in an oil based clear. I hope to be in touch soon to buy a small amount.
Brilliant colour, makes me think of 1920/30s Art Deco, especially with the bronze wheels. Beautiful smooth finish, the camera says so. Thank you and happy weekend.
Wow... One of the better in many years! It looked really good with the matte black base, but I think it could have become even better with a black cherry base! WOW!
I was so impressed by this color that I had to order it for my fishing lure business and use it to color my plastic lures, ie...worms and such. And it's an incredibly huge hit. Thank you for bringing these colors to everyone. Definitely rate this as a 5!!!
Not sure if I'm just seeing what I want to see, but that looks a lot like the stunning green Aston Martin uses. Gorgeous! Looks badass over Anthracite and Black Cherry too!!
Definitely a 5 for me. I would have loved to see it on the DYC Mustang for some Bullitt vibes. Also thanks for adding the additional base examples at the end of the videos. Very helpful!
5/5. Thank you for doing the speed shapes! I was thinking that it seemed like it was pretty saturated and it wondered what it would look like over white. Not saturated enough it seems.
This is absolutely awesome. My first vehicle was a 1974 Series 3 Land rover pickup in British racing green Matt with a gold pinstripe going down the side. It was stunning and the combination of the car and wheels made me thing of my old Landy.
10 out of 5!! That's my favorite color of green/teal. I'd love to paint my car that color, I even want to go with bronze wheels. The RSX would look great in that paint.
Ooh, yeah. I knew I liked this as soon as you started spraying. I like a lot of the crazy colors aesthetically, but I wouldn’t really want to live with them, this I definitely could. 5/5. The black cherry one was also stunning, and over the white it was very subtle but I liked the hint of color.
I absolutely love this color. It's strong and powerful yet not overpowering. 5-5 Super awesome . Thanks guys. I agree about the crazy colorshift experiments. One of my favorite outcomes was the accidental camo dip you guys made.
Oh, YEAH - a solid 5. Gorgeous color, and better then the average blue or green shades generally available for most vehicles.... gives a surprisingly subtle yet really sweet highlight effect over the Pure Purple & White colors, as well!
More of an emerald green when it's over the black on the car... happens to be my wife's favourite colour, so it's a 👍. Definitely will rock this colour on my car. And those bronze wheels. Getting close to British racing green when it's over Black Cherry... very nice work with the new pearl formulation indeed. I like it over the anthracite grey, too.
Great color and one that I would like for my car. It’s a 5 for me! I like the end segment with the different bases - the dark cherry was very nice too.
I love it! For a fan of BRG, it does have that sort of look. Except it is much flatter even with the pearl. Has anyone on here dipped their car, yet? Or used this color? Would love to hear about your experience. But I can say that the Hyper-Dip Wheel kits are great! I have used it on my Rotor 20" wheels and the Frozen Black looks wonderful. It has been on for over a year. I had to touch up a little about a month ago but it is still hanging on strong.
I want this on my 06 suburban, my black paint is failing anyways plus the clear coat! But also my two favorite colors are in this mixture, blue and green. ABSOLUTELY I gladly have this on my daily!!
Also, LOVE the idea of going both the crazy experimental way AND the more down to earth everyday joe way mixed....love the weird combos, but those down to earth ones are a breath of fresh air sometimes
Isle Of Man Green was one of my recent favorites on the M4. I'm glad that chalk white and nardo gray seem to be dying off in favor of some seriously great colors.
Omg that is so pretty. I love the cooler colors so this would very much be something I would get. 5/5 As good as it looks over the black..it looks amazing over that Anthracite Grey and Black Cherry.
What I love about British Racing Green is how tightly maintained it is across multiple platforms. Paint, fabric, print, plastics, the "goal" is 100% match across the gamut of products. Color shifting is extremely tight, staying within the blue-teal-green. If possible, there is a metallic particle to it, usually reserved for racing vehicles. KP did a masterful attempt at it, only needing a slight bit more green to the direct on view. But if you didn't put this against something already rated as BRG, you wouldn't notice the difference. Definitely a 4.5/5 on the color. They are EVER so close on it. As for on the speed shapes, forgetaboutit. I did like it over the Black Cherry, pushing more towards the teal. But it loses the focus of the BRG being BRG. Hats off to KP Pigments for being off the wall and innovative on their products. They are willing to try to push the envelope and they have some fantastic stuff.
Have really wanted to see you attempt to do British Racing Green for some time. The Black Cherry base is about as close as I think you will ever get and is absolutely gorgeous. Also love the idea for the channel moving forward.
Great decision on the channel refocus. Don't get me wrong, I love the wild experiments too, but seeing real colors like this one is what I originally started watching the channel for!
Oh hot damn! This is my jam! Great color and I also love the color over anthracite( at certain angles it’s similar to the genesis Black Forest green) and definitely over the black cherry!!!!
*Would you rock this color on your car?*
Yep just a shame it has a pearl in it tho as true British racing green is flat colour, also it has a lot of blue compared to the true colour
absolutely but it looks bluer than it should i think - i think more green when i hear british racing green - like a triumph
Is it British Racing Green? Eh, not quite. A little more blue in it. Is is stunning? Definitely. 5 out of 5. Love to see full scale over Black Cherry or Anthracite.
Definitely it's a 5
Love blues n greens, too much blue for British Racing it’s more of a Euro Racing Green…
Looks great on black, but IMO, I’d rather have it over the black cherry base. Wow, love that combo.
Yeah that one surprised us
Yea ,what about on rootbeer?
Definitely the best of the other colors
Yeah, that is definitely closer to actual BRG than over the black base; I think it’s the red in the cherry damping out the blue inherent in the pearl.
Stunningly good, I would definitely love to see it full scale... on my own car :)
Agree
This
Absolutely agree. This is a beautiful color, (although I'd prefer a glossier finish) but it's not BRG, and the black cherry overspray is gorgeous!
See this Pearl over different base colors at the end of the video!
That black cherry base is where it’s at. Amazing how much different that top coat looks over the various bases.
OMG.....over Black Cherry is sexy!
Love this format with the various speed shapes at the end!
What about over a dark green base to bring out more true britush green. I'd love to see a whole video of all kinds of speedshapes with different color base and pearl combinations
@@walrus68000 Seconded. It would be a neat way for them to showcase the pigments and pearls on their website as well.
Nailed it…that’s a “5”! Looks like the Aston Martin F1 cars on the grid right now.
Also very reminiscent of the Aston Martin Sports Cars and Formula 1 cars of the late 1950s - it alarms me to realise that I saw them racing then 🤨
My exact thought. Was going to leave a similar comment but saw yours first.
It's extremely pretty! I'm a big fan, would absolutely rock this on a sports car.
I love it over both the anthracite gray and black cherry.
My thoughts exactly
This.
Same
Black cherry is stunning. I will be getting that combo soon.
Not bad over the anthracite, I preferred the black cherry in the speedshapes personally. I really want to see what a candy black over anthracite looks like(thinking that's how I want to actually paint my car)
5/5. Anthracite and Black Cherry are gorgeous.
These videos are such a relaxing part of my week now. Thanks Fonzie!
Thanks for watching!
That color on black cherry is amazing. 5/5
Great color and like others I agree over the Black Cherry base was just stunning. So much depth to it there.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥! Would love to see this full-scale over the Black Cherry base!!!
Best one in a while! I agree with the change in format.
5 looks sweet with the bronze ❤
Idea for new series. Cover popular OEM colors. Color shifts are cool. But they start to look the same over time.
This rendition seems a little too blue IMO. It could be the satin.
BMW malachite green, oxford green, would be great to see.
Probably my favorite color you’ve done so far. It’s nothing crazy, just a beautiful green.
On a scale of 1-5, it's a 100. I love that green.
100 out of 10, nailed it absolutely gorgeous
5/5 definitely! That color is like a deep teal-green. Love the satiny look.
Absolutely gorgeous, one of my all times favourites. Definitely a 5.
Great looking color, and a nice change from all the insane hyper shifts
Not sure if it's BRG or not, but it DOES look like the special Valkyrie green they did. Very cool, either way
There is millions of greens called British racing green but yes it does like a current Aston colour
Basically, British Racing Green is any shade of green on a British racing car. There is no specific colour.
That is definitely a nice color. and yeah, the wheels really do compliment it.
As for the others.
Pure Purple: 2/5
Flex Blue: 1/5
Anthracite Grey: 4/5
Black Cheery: 7, just straight up 7
White: 1/5
Stunning especially over the black cherry 5*
I love how honest you always are even when it makes you look bad, it just adds quality to your videos and makes them genuine. Thank you and keep up the great work!!
Another gorgeous job guys. 5/5
No offense but I would put any of your crazy experimental colors on my vehicle. You guys always surprise me with any of your paint jobs....I always look forward to Fridays because of your videos.
Thank you both for the awesome job!
5/5! Black Cherry and White are awesome too
5/5 pretty color but it looks slightly more blue on camera imo
Still hoping to see Blue Quartz mixed with Lava some day
Ooh hell yeah damn very much so love the color 😍 💕
over black cherry 💯
Please more of this! I've been waiting for you guys to get back to real colors for a while! It's so cathartic to watch the process when it's something I envision on my own car
This is a sleek and welcome modern day take on BRG. I'd happily rock this colour on my car. Great job guys
My '57 VW BUG, painted back in 1977❗️
I always love the music they play, its relaxing. The music played during the mixing and spraying is my favourite.
Yes!!! Absolutely gorgeous! More videos like this please... I absolutely love it!!! 5!!!!!
One of the best color scenarios ever. Love the subtle green shift
the green and bronze look good together.
8:20 That's actually really subtle and hot over the anthracite grey
The black cherry base is my favorite of all of your videos I’ve seen. Incredible!
Doesn’t get much better than that, simple, clean yet strikingly beautiful ❤
Over the black cherry is perfect! Gives it the right darkness of an actual British Racing Green.
Brilliant colour, makes me think of 1920/30s Art Deco, especially with the bronze wheels. Beautiful smooth finish, the camera says so. Thank you and happy weekend.
Really a nice subtle color and is obviously a five.
Over the black cherry was fantastic. It gave it a different darker depth.
i love this green! 5/5 especially over the anthracite and the black cherry. chef’s kiss
WOW, that looks amazing. 😎👍
Wow... One of the better in many years!
It looked really good with the matte black base, but I think it could have become even better with a black cherry base! WOW!
As someone who loves BRG and recently had my own painted BRG base with a colourshift this is gorgeous. Even better over the cherry black.
10/5. As soon as the camera shifted to outside, I was like shut up and take my money. Straight 🔥 absolutely gorgeous.
Black cherry base looked phenomenal, I would love to see that used more with similar colors like this green
The Black Cherry Base looks Amazing, and the Grey as well.. Would definitely Rock Those.. looks wicked.
I was so impressed by this color that I had to order it for my fishing lure business and use it to color my plastic lures, ie...worms and such. And it's an incredibly huge hit. Thank you for bringing these colors to everyone. Definitely rate this as a 5!!!
Pure Purple and Black Cherry Look amazing with this.
Love that you added the other results from different base coats!
Definitely a 5! I liked it best over the black and black cherry. Very nicely done.
Not sure if I'm just seeing what I want to see, but that looks a lot like the stunning green Aston Martin uses. Gorgeous! Looks badass over Anthracite and Black Cherry too!!
The green over the black cherry was the best! That was so very cool!
Yet another great video! Lovely colour! I think both anthracite grey and black cherry bases were even better!
It looks good on the car especially with the wheels but that black cherry speedshape looks even better
5 for sure. I love this color! I think it’s my all time fave!!
Can you use any kp pegments with any clear coat. Still be able to peel it off whenever you want to.
The pearls work with any paint or clear coat, but you can't use any clear coat with dip.
@dipyourcar you have to use only dip clear coat to make it work the way it's supposed to work.
Super classy look on the car but on the black cherry? The depth of color was amazing. I’d do that one!
Nice! First I the color on the Audi. Beautiful! But my preference would be over the anthracite. That rocked!
Black cherry for me looks like the perfect undercoat for it. Very classy
This is absolutely awesome. My first vehicle was a 1974 Series 3 Land rover pickup in British racing green Matt with a gold pinstripe going down the side. It was stunning and the combination of the car and wheels made me thing of my old Landy.
5/5. That color combo is great. I have a 2015 Lincoln MKZ, very curvy car and that would look amazing on it
Love this video way more than the crazy stuff. Great to see real colours back on the menu
I would kill to have this on my car! Hands down THE BEST non-shifting color ever on this channel!! Love it!!! 5/5 and then some!!
10 out of 5!! That's my favorite color of green/teal. I'd love to paint my car that color, I even want to go with bronze wheels. The RSX would look great in that paint.
Anthracite grey, or black cherry.👍🏻
Ooh, yeah. I knew I liked this as soon as you started spraying. I like a lot of the crazy colors aesthetically, but I wouldn’t really want to live with them, this I definitely could. 5/5. The black cherry one was also stunning, and over the white it was very subtle but I liked the hint of color.

Getting close to British racing green when it's over Black Cherry... very nice work with the new pearl formulation indeed.
I like it over the anthracite grey, too.
Stunning! 5 for sure, looks just a awesome over black cherry! Would absolutely love this on my car!
Such a wonderful color, and the satin finish is perfect. 5/5 easy
I agree with your thoughts on the direction of the channel. Good idea
Great color and one that I would like for my car. It’s a 5 for me!
I like the end segment with the different bases - the dark cherry was very nice too.
The black cherry speed shape was wild. Love it.
Love it. I think my K5 would look good in this color especially with the satin finish.
Beautiful. 5/5. Not sure how close to the original British racing green it is, but I absolutely love the color.
I love it! For a fan of BRG, it does have that sort of look. Except it is much flatter even with the pearl. Has anyone on here dipped their car, yet? Or used this color? I had a Jag in BRG and that is so close, looks amazing, all the best from her in the UK
I want this on my 06 suburban, my black paint is failing anyways plus the clear coat! But also my two favorite colors are in this mixture, blue and green. ABSOLUTELY I gladly have this on my daily!!
Looks amazing 5/5!.. thinking it be cooler over white, looking at it white with a bit of green glow..
Beautiful with a hint of blue - 5
Also, LOVE the idea of going both the crazy experimental way AND the more down to earth everyday joe way mixed....love the weird combos, but those down to earth ones are a breath of fresh air sometimes
Isle Of Man Green was one of my recent favorites on the M4. I'm glad that chalk white and nardo gray seem to be dying off in favor of some seriously great colors.
5. Love this color. Reminds me of the early 90s green Ford had on it's cars. I rocked it on my 66 beetle w black rims and gold trim.
5/5 love how subtle it is and yet unique.
Oh yes! 5 for sure with the anthracite gray ❤
Fantastic. As a bloke this really hits the spot. Perfect 10/10 from me.
5 definitely a 5, I would love to see a lighter pigment load over a blue base, but still AMAZING!
Omg that is so pretty. I love the cooler colors so this would very much be something I would get. 5/5 As good as it looks over the black..it looks amazing over that Anthracite Grey and Black Cherry.
