I knew sending in that a gasser would be a gamble and it did not pay off, despite that for my first time competing at shavano mountain it was a blast. Congratulations to Hot nuts for moving on to the next round and thanks for having me participate in this tournament GTR.

Kingjester: good to see a Gasser try and tame the mountain! Its hard for a huge V8 drag car to keep up with rally cars and drifters but you gave it a bloody good crack mate!! That weight distribution is extremely hard to get right and I feel that was the issue, especially with a gasser.
Keep building and watch GTR previous videos on how to get the balance right. I'm backing you to win here one day 🏆
@@enzedracing3641 Thanks, as you could see in the window I put the weight in the middle as that’s usually the safest place, yet now looking at its performance I should have placed it more towards the back to act as a counter-balance to the lifted rear. It didn’t help I had skinny wheels front and back which made it even more difficult to stick the landing. Yet you live and learn, so now I have a better understanding of what to do next time I’m doing a gasser build
Usually it is the Scrambler that is so unforgiving but in this outing the Creek Jump decided it will have its due this day!
Our halftime racers needed the spirit of Aunt Edna on their side for them to succeed in that special event!! 😂

This was more of a battle than I expected... wild.
First off, your track looks better every time I watch a race. Continue to make those nice upgrades. King Jester and that gasser were hatin' life there for a while along with Red Panduh, but in the end, Cragster Sr. & Larro battled it out with a HUGE win by Craigster Sr. You have a great thing going on over here Mark!!!!!!!!!!

Audi’s seem to always be more consistent due to their favorable weight distribution and low chassis. Great race, great channel 🎉

I love it when a new GTR race vid shows up! For people that have submitted a car, what's it like watching your car race? What's a "gasser"? I was rooting for the gasser in this race! :)
Thanks for the encouragement. Gassers were very popular in the 1950s and 60s. One distinct feature is the fender-well headers or exhaust pipes. You see them sticking out behind the front wheels.
A "gasser" is a type of drag racing car that uses common commercial grade fuel instead of specialised "top fuel" that can cost over $100/gallon.

Another close-fought round - the car that made full use of the train bonuses took the win - they often seem to be crucial! I've just noticed: of the 11 cars through to the next round so far, 5 are Datsuns/Nissans - that seems to be the make to beat.
Great race. I didn't expect much from the Gasser setup.
Irons Diecasts halftime drift was smooooooth as butter! That should be a contender for "Drift of the Tournament" 😁

Симпатично получилось. И свой гараж - это просто кайф!
The track was painted and then covered with a clear coat. This made it almost as smooth and slippery as the orange Hotwheels track you can buy.

It might appear that way at 1/10th speed, but I had the advantage of freez framing the video during production. It was pretty clear, yet you make a good point. Something that close deserves to be freeze framed. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.
Touched by a bumpers width....wouldn't matter if he only got 2 points anyway as he still had made it through by 1 point.
But the train points are vital so good eyes on that one mate 🤙🏼
I will say this: Kingjester was NOT designed for racing. Too unbalanced.
