I don't know man. I haven't been into crypto that long (since end of 2020) but seems to me like memes have always taken the lion's share of gains. Doge, Shib, Pepe, Bome etc. Utility tokens have had nowwhere near their profits. This is not new to me. I have had this existential crisis a couple of years ago
It’s not about the lion share of gains. It’s about being able to reliably and repeatably pick value projects. Does it matter if a random meme makes a 10,000x if it’s purely random when every other meme dumps to hell?
You know I use to be biased against memes too but now Im convinced mems do have value because they express the value of networks, culture, and art while being simple concepts to understand. And once you realize how closely related and interdependent art and science is, you’ll see how important meme tokens are.
