Thanks for this. Just tried it and it works! I’m paying for an air conditioned room and shouldn’t have to get up there or four times a night to get the room to stay cool.
@@ilyskyj4068 I ended up taking the front cover off, and removed a piece covering where the control were, and they were were under the cover. Not sure yours is the same of course, but it worked for me.
You don’t need to. Leaving crew does not pay attention to this. This is strictly maintenance scope of work, and it only looked at if there is an issue with the unit.
But if the next people that stay in the room report the wall thermostat not working couldnt they blame that on the people before. Just wondering if I reverse the steps does that set it back?
@@timcapell Id just go back into the menu as you did before, but press UP until its back to the previous setting. that should do it. I'll find out in a week... if I remember. I also kick the TVs of Procentric, regain control of them. so that I can disable the cursed autodimming.
It's just a little cover they have sitting on there all those controls are still under their grab the whole damn front cover and it pulls right off and you can see everything

Thank you our room was freezing for 24 hours and this helped me finally warm up!
Worked right away. Thank you so very much.
In an HGI now and this was great info. Thank you!
No problem!!!
Just watched your video and did exactly what you did seems to be working fine thank you
My man! Thank you! It’s nice to be comfortable in a room I’m paying for!
Easy and worked immediately!!
I have this in my current room but the controls on the unit itself are not present. Anyone know how to override with the wall controls?
I’m in this same situation right now

Sorry I’m a year too late but it’s true; it’s usually a cover blocking the controls.
This worked great! Does anyone know how to reset it back, before I check out of the room?

@cezaryswirydziuk7042 I was looking at one, and the control panel on the ac unit was covered by a non removable plastic piece

LOL…well, as long as it works the way you want it to. You are paying for won comfort, not partial comfort. They can afford it.
