    Always a fan of big fender/squire 70's headstock

    • @sodablower
      @sodablower Рік тому

      For me, it should replace the smaller headstock and come on _all_ Strats as standard. 🙂
      Every Fender/Squier looks better with a big 70s headstock on it!

    Thank you for your reviews. They're very good. Good playing and presentation. Love the fact that you play them clean for a good while. We all know what distortion sounds like. Gotta hear that clean. Think I'm going to get one.

      HSS refers to the pickup configuration. In this case, humbucker/single/single as opposed to three single coils.

    • @TealScarab

      No it does not coil split. You’d have to take apart the pickup to rewind it or get a different pickup and then install a push-pull pot.

      Hope this helps: the physical first outta the way, CV has a bigger headstock, tuner machines are vintage like the bridge saddles (old school) , 3 knobs (1 volume 2 tones) while contemporary only has 2 knobs (1v, 1t)
      Now, on the pickups side, the CV pickups are ALNICO and contemporary are CERAMIC.
      Glad I could help.
