Pawn Stars
Season 4
Episode 10
Necessary Roughness
"Pawn Stars" follows three generations of the Harrison family as they assess the value of items coming in and out of their Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, from the commonplace to the truly historic.

These should be in a museum, not a pawn shop.
well, the script says otherwise
So do you!
Which is the conclusion they came too..
*Insert Indiana Jones here*
Blake B some people are just stupid even if it’s stage they shouldn’t be messing with it 🤦♂️
My papa was the artist who drew this map Calvin Hall. He was also a paratrooper in the 82nd and jumped behind enemy lines on D-day. I wish I could get this from this man or at least talk to him. Pretty awesome to see this!
He was a gr8 guy
Λολ
GO TO VEGAS AND TALK TO RICK SO YOU CAN GET THAT GUYS PHONENUMBER
Cap
@@gmeyer_7 bro he not capping I looked it up
I hate when people sell the stuff their grandparents left them
Rosie Fausto but.. most of time that’s WHY grandparents leave things to their grandkids, so they can have something worth some money in the future.
It’s just material stuff.
Same I wouldn’t part with something that would disappoint my grand parent
@Smarter Than You 😅😂😅
@Zokersghost 😅😂😂😂
Commander in Chief: "We need 160,000 men for operation overlord"
Rick: "best I can do is 500 and a few dogs and I'm taking a big risk here"
🤣🤣
dont worry i got a guy he will be down to tell me what we got here
With all that... I need a frame for all of that
Rick: "The plans are no longer secret, and they're based on dated equipment and tactics. The best I can do is..."
I have the pre reports of Mr. Brown planning to get along famously.
Hahahaha
I caught them all myself
Seems like they should wear gloves to keep dirt and oil off those documents.
nah they don't own them, don't care
Gloves do more damage.
Gengar: We're not talking about people, you idiot.
No.
r0bw00d simple wash ur hands
My grandpa died that day while carrying a fellow soldier to safety.
The Carpet Heros :)
The Carpet Heros your grandpa carried my grandpa to safety...
Was it Mr.Brown famously sounds so fun?
My Grandpa was the one who shot your Grandpa Carpet. Sorry dude, it was a accident. He was not a very good shot.
The Carpet Heros My grandpa worked at KFC
This show is so cool. Who cares if it’s staged. What show isn’t!? You learn things about history on this show that are important to know. I love it.
The beard of knowledge NEEDS his own show!
Go to his museum, he literally just hangs around there and is an amazing guy to just stand and talk to. Can honestly say I have very rarely met a nicer person.
The 3D Printing Corner I would if I lived there, who knows, maybe I will take a trip :)
Who’s that
He wouldn’t know how much to ask to get paid
No he doesnt
I would’ve sold it to the WWII museum in New Orleans. They would’ve paid top dollar for that
Lifetime entrance for free maybe!
Literally one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen
No price? Waste of time. Someone would buy that for at least $50k. A CEO keep it in his drawer. Pull it out and read it when he needs to ponder a big move.
dave marnell lol, no.
Nobody is buying this crap
Sad that such an idiotic comment gets so many 'likes'.
It's sad that you are emotionally invested in likes.
+dave marnell You should contact the show and buy this item for $40K. And then sell if for over $50K and make a nice profit.
They are priceless and should be in a museum
My girlfriend's grandfather was driving the very first tank to make the beach on D-Day and the man LIVED, how you going to be the 1st tank and not be taken out! It blew my mind when I heard the story. He is still alive at the age of 93
I call it a book. Rebecca should have been called in.
Mark may not be eye candy but he's cool and respectful
call rebecca please..............
Gengar Phantom just stop
Mit Romney's daughter
Who's rebecca?
Your mom
You just wanna see dat booty. 😄
it belongs in a museum
If you watched the video properly, it would say that...
@@Locutus Yeah, but it actually doesn't belong in a museum. Museums display items. Those battle plans cannot be displayed in any capacity, because they degrade extremely quickly when exposed to light.
@@MisterSwagify The thing is that you can have special UV resistant glass, and you can keep them in a special environment to preserve them longer.
He said they belong in a museum, because it would be taken care of so they don't fade. ie They would treat it regularly with a chemical, and in the correct lighting environment.
They wouldn't display the original documents, they'd have to photograph or scan them for reproduction, enlarging them to be viewable. Presidential or University libraries are the best places for these outside of the National Archives or Smithsonian. These pre D-Day plans should go to the Eisenhower Library in Abilene, KS.
This short piece was awsome...Thank You Pawn Stares and UA-cam..
This show is just one big history lesson, history everybody knows too
ozzfreak05
Fuck off?
I miss the old man....rip🙏
4:14 looks like he's gonna cry
"These are important and rare historical documents that is of real value to us as Americans, let me give you $20 for it cuz you know I gotta frame it"
It really made me upset that such an important piece of history was gifted to the seller by his grandpa and he chose to sell it.... just hearing the story made me think that these papers and plans were quite important to his grandpa and he wanted him to keep it to educate others
Mr Brown fought for the Germans
No, Mr. Braun fought for the Germans.
Nick Stevens no... KAISER BRAÜNKLEUNFKUGANFEIG!!!
This dudes grandpa just rolled over in his grave
No his grandpa is decomposed.
My great grandfather stormed the beaches of Normandy and was also a PoW during WWII. He died years ago, but that's just life. Pretty sad, but he left a legacy.
It's really amazing what comes through those doors.
03:13 9th infantry division My dad was a surgeon in this division. He commanded a medical company that landed some days after the initial landing.
Phil Limbacher That sounds like a whole story that could be told
Yes, my dad did write his war memoir. A family treasure. He was in the invasion landings of North Africa, Sicily, Normandy, and the initial crossing of the Rhine on the Remagen bridge, and one of the first 4 US Army doctors into the concentration camp at Nordhausen, where he went thru piles of bodies w a stethoscope to find the still living.
lol that is so much bullshit and you know it yourself.
Mr. Brown threw the ball at my face, and then we got along famously!
So unless he had it in some special box somewhere for 80 years with no exposure, how does the ink look so good?
It was in a folder. An opaque folder. One that doesn't let light in.
I love how a majority of these are handed down from family
lol the quaker oats guy has come back 2:10
I wonder if Chum did a tide pod challenge
tyedyejedi def
tyedyejedi lowks
Lmao
Probabaly. then Ross stopped him.
he did it like 20 times
God bless the men that fought and died on D-day on May 28th!!!Heaven held a special place for you heroes!!!
I'm pretty sure d day was June 6th
I feel like every time they call that guy, he says, “unfortunately...”
at 2:00 it looks like uncle si from duck dynasty is in the background haha
Their faces when the guy said they’re from before the battle
My great grandfather was in the 82nd and dropped on D day
Me: can I get change for a dollar?
Rick: let me call a buddy of mine.
Rick's face 0:05 is the appropriate reaction...
Rest in peace old man........😔
Mold is getting along famously with these documents...
Luckily archival glass has been around for decades to counter this.
Mat Nelen Exactly. I've been to the National Archives and the documents are in good condition for their age
will someone please link me to the Y.A. Tittle video that is discussed right after mr brown at the end of every upload. I really want to watch that, as I am a fan of his.
75 years....wow
R.I.P old man
This document is amazing!!!
Pretty cool seeing map overlays for the invasion.
I love this expert.
I called the shop Rick wasn't there I am tring to sell some real chinease stars will be in vegas when I turn 21.
Tony Roberts they have web sight photograph them.
The old man is such a mood😂😂
RIP OLD MAN
Mr Brown was famously a general at Normandy
Rick with the ROLEX MILGAUS🔥🔥
Huge respect to the American army ! From France
Rick seems to be dealing with a cold in this video
Geez, you can tell @4:13 the seller was holding in tears because he knew he wasn't going to be able to sell.
Please upload clips from the 500th special episode, i don’t have cable Tv because i don’t live in the Us so i only watch the clips here on UA-cam and i really love the show
those battle plan documents need to be placed safely and displayed in a history musuem. The Normandy invasion was a massive turning point during WW2
*Laughs in Operation Bagration*
Yeah no. Allied invasion of france only shortened Germany's inevitable downfall
I have my grandfather's piccolo my sister brought me from my grandparents old home in California. I will never sell that, or even consider bringing it into a pawn shop regardless of it's worth.
i truly hope there never comes a time when i’ve seen all the pawn stars videos 😔😔
it belongs in a museum!
Yes, if you had bothered to watch the video, that is what was said...
"what's your concerns about........." waaaait for it.....waaait for it.....2:14 THERE IT IS!
"What are your concerns about..."
Rick: "What do you think!? Tell me the moneyz!"
Mr Brown was on the beaches of Normandy , that's why he's called Mr Brown.
Mr. Brown® grew up "famously" in northern South Dakota where he worked as a terrible smelling potato farmer. Then he found his big break when he got a gig working for chubby pawn broker dad doing his youtube vocal add-ins.
Haters, listen to RIck, he says is a *BUSINESS* not a museum. Do not expect him to pay anything near retail when purchasing items.
This is awesome!
Who's else comes back to this video to see the Old Man again and his OG attitude
The only reason he didn't make an offer is because he couldn't lowball him for "framing fees"
Would love to get my hands on these
After 80 years : guy has dank memes from WWIII
03:09 in the background of his head ''Money money money''
Sounds so fun!
I hope everyone realizes this show is scripted and more than half the items are actually privately owned and are not actually getting pawned.
Sounds so fun actually
Dupe Tones still fun to watch
warrior112100 because i said more than half, not ALL. Reading a hard subject for you???
Mark really got along historically with mr.brown famously
We landed in Normandy because we were fighting for Mr. Brown being so famous
Those are extremely important papers in our nations history.
Mr Braun and Eva got along famously.
Mr. Brown and his grandfather got along famously..
In all fairness rick was right in not buying them, i have pre-battle plans for operation market garden (grandpa was an intel officer in the 101st) and they do NOT last if displayed, thankfully i took them down from my walls just in time.
I was fortunate enough, by the grace of God, to visit Normandy. Normandy is a beautiful historic place where I believe that every Citizen of the United States should visit ( if they have the opportunity of course ). When you go there and see what these young men were able to accomplish with the obstacles they had, you will be amazed and humbled to the core. God bless them and their families for their sacrifices.
should have called rebecca in
R.I.p
First time I’ve seen the big guy with the glasses without his red shirt on
The “no sale” was staged IMHO. They wanted it on their show for ratings regardless of sale. Rick is a businessman. He would have made an offer on something like this.
*Airbornes during Normandy invasion* :ALRIGHT BOYS!!! WHERE ARE WE LANDING?!?!?”
My great grandpa was in Normandy
Mr. Brown and D-Day got along famously.
I hate Operation Neptune, too many snipers. Operation Breakout is my favorite
Operation bustanut is my favorite
Canadian troops were there. Proud to be a Canadian.
Thats pretty rare stuff one of a kind it looks.
rick: I'm a business here not a museum
guy: OK!
The old man was my favourite
I'm watching this on May 28th (2020). The date on the maps.
So how did you and Mr. Brown get along?
unfamously
Nice Rolex Milgauss Rick !
The historian county director guy comes to the pawn shop ten times a day!
It’s called a uv filtered display case... Yes it’s farmable Rick. Also nitrogen fill the frame as well.
I would have bought them for $2,500 in a heartbeat. Put a xerox replica on the frame with proper labeling for display purposes and kept the original safe. that's a steal compared to crazy valuations rare coins command.
I am sure someone would be glad to buy them and keep them from display, the guy should not give up and he should get top dollar for them
