@Daniel Simmons, Hey, I just got 2 of the same Rains Rush totes in brown and green! I did a shower test to check the waterproofing. I think the inner side pocket is more waterproof, but everything stayed dry! I put a padded mini envelope in the side pocket for things I don't want to get crushed like sunglasses, earbuds case, etc. Thanks for recommending - this is a great understated everyday essential that goes with so many outfits.
