Daughter of deathwing evolved into deathwing. That'll make for an awkward family reunion.
Talk about becoming your parents.
3:15
+Skipperino Kripperino you lost to I Beat Skipperino Kripperino!
+Skipperino Kripperino Somebody beat you. You suck kappa
Gotta step up your game dude. Minutes are on the line here!
+Skipperino Kripperino you are the original :)Beat this freak who wants to copy you
Onyxia+evolve=6 doomsayers
+Hybrid Shadow seems legit
+Hybrid Shadow well theres a pritty big chance of getting a doomsayer xD
yeah broh, old jokes
+Hybrid Shadow 5 Darnassus aspirants + 1 doomsayer
6 welps = ~6% to get doomsayer?
32:30 Onyxia, the daughter of Deathwing, evolves INTO Deathwing.
27:44 opponent missed lethal, right? If he Fire Elemental'd the taunt totem and hit face with everything else exact lethal O.o Unless im missing something
Your mom should shut up
Yeye its lethal
So what if he missed lethal? He was still gonna win either way. Maybe just dragging it for laughs.
1 over lethal
+Manuel da Costa he could have lost if kripp had better RNG and drew C'thun..
23:06 Kripp gets one lucky totem when he needed an answer
26:18 Kripp complains about his bad RNG
BabyRage A day in my life.
+GhostMihneaRo
He's actually complaining about his opponents great RNG, but same difference. Kripp gets lucky a lot more than he thinks he does.
+MistaCheez _Everyone_ does. ^_^
+GhostMihneaRo This is consistent throughout all his videos. Kripp is so fucking lucky, but he's *always* crying about rng.
did you not see him get rekt by RNG right after that?
Play only minions that buff cthun with some spells. every card you use either buffs cthun or yoggsaron. And you have 2 finishers (cthun killing enemy or yogg killing you...)
Wanted to say thank you. Made a C'thun/Totem Monster/Evolve deck using yours as a base and I've never had that much fun playing shaman.
32:33 Deathwing's mad that someone challenged his daughter
+Dan R
"You dare challenge the daughter of Deathwing? You will pay for your insolence!
...
Daaaaaaaaaaad! Somebody challenged me... AGAIN!"
"RAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWRRRRRRR!"
other player missed lethal at 28:00
think he was just messing about assuming he had the game won
Pretty poetic that Onyxia evolved into her daddy Deathwing :)
Kripp has a golden c'thun but whenever he buffs it it shows just the classic one... interesting..
+Yagiz Tunceli maybe putting an animated c'thun in the c'thun animation to make an animated c'thun animation in the animation of c'thun when you buff c'thun with c'thun cards in a c'thun deck with cards of the old gods expansion wich one of them is c'thun is not that easy. c'thun
+- POSHOMAN - Dauym
- POSHOMAN - deep
+Yagiz Tunceli Also something else weird happens: If you buff a non golden C'thun with a golden C'thun buffer the buff animation shows a Golden C'thun you don't have only for that specific golden card's animation.
Aka another non-golden buffer will show a non-golden C'thun but a golden C'thun buffer will always show a golden C'thun.
+- POSHOMAN - This is how the Disciple of C'thun went crazy.
what was that nonsense, the client told him when the priest drew tirion, why does the hearthstone client even load the faces of your opponent's cards, they're inviting themselves to bugs like this
+WereKingWolf This is not a change by Blizzard but a bug involving only "transformed" minions, i.e. by using Evolve, "Choose" Druid cards like Druid of the Claw, minions copied by Faceless Manipulator, etc.
+WereKingWolf This problem has been since the release of Entomb. "The bug only happens on entombed minions that are created by transform effects." www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/3vy3gi/entomb_draw_card_animation_bug_shows_card_that_he/
Well, entomb - stupid card, in general, so...
*****
haha no worries. I had to look it up myself because I wasn't sure.
+MrDimenice niceme.me
26:30 INSANE OPENER! Hero power, hero power, 4 drop. i guess that's a new insane opener.
I made a tempo rouge C'thun deck earlier today. Works really well, mainly came about because Disciple of C'thun is really good and I just wanted it, but I didn't want to waste the C'thun +2/+2 buff, so I stuck C'thun in, padded it out with some C'thun buffing cards and immediately beat one of those zoolocks thanks to the abundance of early game removal. That's what's great about this expansion, so many cool ideas you can put together and they don't feel so forced as the joust and inspire effects.
Miracle priest + yogg saron is super fun (that 2 mana soulpriest spell thingy is preeeetty good)
Deathwing is super fun
Preeeety op
+Deathwingerino Kripperino put Krio on death wing
+Shavinder1999 spell thingy... gotta be more descriping than that
Gustav Dyhr
embrace the shadows 2 mana "your healing spells deal damage this turn" couldn't think of the name i was tired when i wrote the post :P
Guys i didn't skip the krip.
amazing personal achievement.
how about a card that devolves the enemies cards?
+Stefan Huber devolve will be coming for sure...that rng could be bad tho
It comes in mean steets of gadgetzan
yea, it rly is a thing now XD
Onyxia becomes Deathwing lol
+Geometry Dash Slime "You dare challenge my daughter?"
she inherited her father's look
Why not novice engineer or scarab instead of loot hoarder? Its a better combo with evolve
@20:46 Wait WHAT?? Did Twitch actually copyright-mute the Tirion Fordring theme song that doesnt exist?!? EleGiggle
My favourite C'Thun hybrid deck is a Paladin + C'Thun + Reno Jackson + Secrets + Heal Deck. The Paladin's early clears (like Consecration) are very useful, and then in the late game I wreck everything. C'Thun is my secondary win condition, my main is to out heal them with Reno, Lay on Hands and Ragnaros Lifelord and then just play efficient minions like Cairne and Sylvanas to keep board control while my C'Thun is being slowly buffed (I usually end up proc-ing Twin Emporers and end up winning long before I draw C'Thun). I have one of every secret (except Eye for an Eye) to mess with the player, and for the Mysterious Stranger bamboozle. It turns out very few players near my rank (13 is the highest I got in the limited time I played this week) are able to respond to all these threats even without the C'Thun efficient cards.
Played a sick combo into 5 8 drops.
Got an Anomalus that cleared my board and 2 Rhonin's that made me mill C'Thun. Thanks RNGesus
I M EARLY LET ME MAKE A MRGLMRGLMRGLMRGL
Please help me, a parrot peed in my eye
+PurpleKalmar Birds don't pee bro.
+Mom hi mom
+Zukkor
Even worse for him.
Cmon Djkhalerino kripperino
anyway 24:04
"We got the 'Death is close' BM." That was pretty epic lol.
I made a rogue C'thun deck that was deathrattles with n'zoth. I only had 4 c'thun cards, 2 blades, twins, and c'thun and it works really well.
Can someone tell me why Evolve is only 1 mana? It's COMPLETELY BROKEN for its cost...
+Thegenerator100 it would still broken if it cost 3~4... It's Hearthstone, the whole game is broken, just play it for fun and if you face someone playing this deck, you might just concede.
+Saulo Silva no, if it was 3-4 it would be such bad tempo it would never see play.
it is fair because like all other non-target spells, it can go crazy, but it can also be essentially useless. if you cant keep minions on the board, even at 1 mana you find yourself needing to play the tempo game and curve out or you lose board control. the random nature of it makes it a risky play in some situations, there are enough battlecry minions in the game that by playing it you dont always gain stats if you already have a decent minion. eventually you have your hand full of spells and just hero power and play it for one two drop.
its like divine favor. half the time its meh, half the time its amazing.
also the way you play around it is how the game is usually played anyways: board control. wanna play around it? keep your opponents board clear. its only really brutal against face decks. i mean sure, you could have a double tuskar totemic into double things from below into evolve and you stand no chance without a board clear, but what 5 card combo isnt that powerful?
***** yep :P its new and doesnt suck, so that means its broken... honestly i can see the evolve decks disappearing once the meta settles in a few weeks, its only good beacause the other decks arent optimized yet
+Thegenerator100 Consider this. Most classes have a couple of cards that are completely broken, it's just that they have been around for a while so we got used to them. Shaman however, was mostly lacking in this department until now. So now they're getting some good, high value cards to actually become a good class.
i think jeweled scarab is way better then loot horder in this deck
+griffintwalsh the only reason to take Lood Hoarder instead of Jeweled Scarab or even DrawCard Gnome is to kill 3/2 with it
+griffintwalsh The goal is to draw from within the deck, not outside the deck. I think that is the reason why he picked Loot Hoarder instead of Scarab.
ScarFearz I agree that in a combo deck its useful to draw to your win conditions.(C'thun and evolve) but the pros of jeweled scarab seem to far outweigh the cons. Jeweled Scarab often allows you to draw a bored clear because both shaman board clears are 3 mana( krip said he would really like having board clears but thought they were too situational), and unlike loot hoarder, its actually useful to evolve it cus its a battle cry not a death rattle.
I would agree with both choices here. It is true that if you're looking to have board clears sometimes, but not everytime, Scarab does a great job. But digging your deck for cards that you need to combo is very important too.
I too think that battlecries is better than deathtattles in a evolve deck.

Your heart will explode.
+Deathwingerino Kripperino You helped us to cause chaos in Azeroth! That's enough!
you should run corrupted seer... board clear and good Target for evolve
playing and loving it. evolving into an armorsmith+wild pyro combo on a full board brought me back from 10 health vs a mage who had not yet used a fireball
I did this right from the start. My first deck was Cthun zoo warlock, then I did Cthun battlecry shaman, then Cthun tempo mage. Playing Cthun renounce warlock right now.
iv had a lot of success with a patron c'thun deck, lets you save your core cards by playing the c'thun cards an waiting until you get something to charge up your cards with.
Haven't made the evolve deck yet but i have tried a dreadsteed/councilman + c'thun deck. Using the Usher's, ritual for most of the c'thun buffs and cult master to handle any extra draw that may be needed. The deck may not be amazingly consistent or I'm just never lucky but it is very fun.
found the rogue reno c'thun n'zoth deck really fun. works well with pulling out reno multiple times with shadowcaster and venoms
Love how that Onyxia + Evolve combo gave a Flametongue in the corner next to only an Ancient Watcher... RNG's way of showing a bit of a middlefinger
Haven't played this game in a year, but now I feel like diving right in.
Hi Krip, you should do an updated video on what people should craft now. I am sure it would help a lot of people who just got in not too long ago... like me. Cheers!
My C'Thun deck is a Dragon Priest deck with some C'Thun cards thrown in, but instead of Ysera or Deathwing as a win condition, it's C'Thun :P It works out pretty well, use removal for their stuff, try to keep my Twilight Elders alive so I keep getting buffs, then play a 12/12-24/24 C'Thun and win, and if that fails, kill'em off and play the revive C'Thun minion for more insanity
C'Thun Mill Rogue is fun. I call it C'Mill. Gotten some nasty stuff. Its good because if it burns half your opponents deck and puts them into fatigue, and you probably have a ~20/20 C'Thun by the end of everything. Or you get Brann + Shadowcaster combo on itself or you get 3 x Emp T's or C'Thuns from a thistle tea.
I had some success with with murloc C'Thun paladin. It's good because the murlocs help me rush and when those run out of steam C'thun is crazy buffed and I have 2 end game options. C'thun hits the board and ruins their day and if that doesn't kill them, boom ANYFIN CAN HAPPEN!
thanks kripp, was wondering if I actually needed any healing and board wipe in my C'thun shaman and you proved you don't! only two hex needed in this mid ranged deck.
onyxia evolved into her father, boy that must be awkward
I play this deck too, just my two cents :
Putting 2 Jewelled scarab is really good, You can trade one hex and one bilefin for it
I don't like Onyxia since there's 10% chance you get doomsayer and lose 10 mana for nothing, There are so many things you can trade it for, but I run azure drake since no 5 drop on the deck
The deck I'm playing: C'thun-Renolock. It is absolutely amazing!
I love Onyxia's voice. Reminds me of the classic Berserk series.
I think Zoo Lock is the best deck at the moment, I'll admit that I (must) suck at Hearthstone, since my best EVER ranking was 15 and that was when I only played the legend aggro shaman deck, but now, a few days after expansion release I'm rank 13 with playing the new zoo lock and I think that speaks for itself.
Really enjoyed the hybrid style play with C'thun
32:33
Flametongue totem is so useful XD
23:40 I remember seeing this on stream.
I made a Reno C'thun mage, that was fun, only played 3 games but won all at rank 7
Fun deck. I beat a Reno C'Thun Warrior who was at 5 life (I was still at 30), threw down a Molten then Reno. I had a full board, hexed the Molten, went face with everything then Evolved. Got some good minions, then he C'Thun-ed the next turn but it was only a 10/10 and next turn I had lethal. Oh and I hexed Ysera that game too.
I just started experimenting with a heavy control warrior that has C'thun in it and just enough C'thun cards to reliably get it to 10 attack before turn 7, so I can drop the emperors and gain ridicilous amounts of armor with ancient shieldbearers. Also, I run Elise, because C'thun doesn't always win the game, since he's not that huge.
Personally I've had fun with Dragon control C'thun Priest. Woah, thats a doosey. It's bad but when it wins it feels so amazing.
PLEASE DO A VIDEO GOING OVER THE WOG VERSIONS OF LEGENDARIES AND COMPARE THEM TO THE PREVIOUS ONES. SO WHICH MUKLA WAS BETTER AND WHICH DEATHWING IS MORE BADASS ETC.
im a free-2-play hearthstone player and my most successful deck is a spelldamage control cthun shaman. its pretty good.
I got my C'thun in golden and was disappointed to find out the buffing animations for the card weren't golden as well. I hope they add that feature in upcoming patches.
I've found that Antonidas Freezemage & C'thun hybrid deck works pretty well for me.
C'Thun Renolock blew my mind the first time I played against it.
I have had some great success with Reno/N'Zoth hunter
flametounge + ancient watcher... what an underrated combo
Onyxia evolved into Deathwing. That's some good family bonding. "My dad is bigger than your dad. Your dad is a 7/7 that summons three random minions, mine is a 12/12 who summons a whole bunch of dragons."
28:40 R.I.P.
I like my beast ramp cthun druid. Very fun to play, new mark is super good card, big taunts arent punished with silence these times.
"You dare challenge the daughter of Deathwing?!"
*Turns into Deathwing*
"I HEARD YOU'VE BEEN LOOKIN' AT MY DAUGHTER FUNNY"
Tried this out and ranked 3 ranks without losing, thanks krip!
32:31 The ancient watcher gets the buff...
+Kripparian What you think about Grim Patron Evolve Combo? Combo: Grim Patron + 2(Tentacle of N'zoth), Wild Pyromancer, "Spell with 0 mana" ish + evolve= 5 monster(6mana) with 10 mana.i put in a Cthun deck, and its a good combo, but in a Darwin shaman deck its was unplayed because of high quality of cthun monster arquetypes changes the game pace. Try its also fun
+Pedro DaiOh and dont have the doomsayer danger
same I love evolve. got 80% win rate so far and most of my losses were not drawing the right minions at the right time
+Lewis Birkett You just explained how every single deck ever loses. Didn't draw the right minions at the right time.
javlarm8 not every deck, some decks are actually bad
+Lewis Birkett I feel like this deck is super inconsistent.
KarstenOkk same. A lot of the time I can't get what I want but the deck itself is based on rng. Evolve can either win you or lose you the game
8:21 This sadasfined face tho :DD
You should play zoo/c'thun hybrid warlock with Usher of Souls. You can get some absolutely massive C'thun plays, even if it is inconsistent.
I'm having tons of fun with my Renounce Darkness C'thun Warlock
This Deck is so much fun. I replaced onyxia with Justicar for taunts or healing when needed. One game i evolved my minions and got Baron Geddon, corrupted hogger, Hooded Acolyte and Holy Champion. I played Justicar and spawned a Healing. My Healing totem died due to Geddon's Ability but it managed to revive itself to 0/1. THen i got a full board heal which buffed my C'thun +7/+7 and gave my Holy Champion +17 or someshit like that. I kept playing healing totems to continue the combo and BM him but my opponent just just swiped it. and out of nowhere i topdecked C'thun, Which i didnt need. I just played another evolve and got Ragnaros Lightlord and a 6/10. Then he conceded.
27:53 miss lethal of oppinent, fire elemental on the totem and the rest face
Why did he see Tirion being drawn? Bug? New "info"?
its the entomb bug
+TobiPlayHD Was thinking the same thing. They must have made entomb a little less op by showing the opponent the card when it's drawn.
+JTrillo No its a bug
+TobiPlayHD It happens on a transformed minion. In this case he transformed something into a Tirion. It happened to someone who faceless manip'ed a belcher.
Joe Wood Awesome thanks for the
clarification.
I made a dragon c'thun deck. You keep summoning good stat minions to clear his board and end with a c'thun. (Brann bronzebeard amazing in this)
32:30 Daughter of deathwing turns into deathwing
gotta love when kripp goes: k. then the whole twitch chat spams k. :D
This deck is actually insane. I'd replace the totem for either lightning storm or elemental destruction because if this deck loses board control for even a second, you've probably lost, and against certain decks, that can happen really easily.
why did it show the card in about 20 min into the video?
+MalBoYover9000 bug
oka :)
+MalBoYover9000 Tirion just wanted to be in the Video.
He's a big fan of Krip.
no its not a bug i think, same happened to forsen couple days ago, i think its like with golden monkey so you know when your opponent draws a card not from his deck
jutubelegoSWfan if it's a bug in the game it happens to every player in that situation you dumbass. and it only happens to minions who were transformed by an effect .
I would say getting that Dragonhawk at the end was not bad at all. Playing a Dragonhawk for 7 mana is bad, but "cheating" it onto the board like that is awesome, especially since the Priest had nothing but a Northshire Cleric to stand in it's way.
Onyxia became DeathwingDragonlord
What happens if you play evolve with C'Thun on board.
You really are a special kind aren't you
32:40 RIP flame tongue positioning
Onyxia turned into deathwing...she wanted her daddy to get up in this. ;)
daughter of deathwing evolving into deathwing dragonlord, so perfect, so fitting
You're making the best videos of the new expansion.
Did a Fendral + C'thun deck on day one. Shit's so good
Kripp you should try the tempo mage/C'thun hybrid with the 2 mana mage c'thun support. I've been getting some really good results.
Though there is a lot of value with evolve and onyxia, I feel that rng could really f u. 1 mana welps turn to 2 mana and well, could be a doomsayer in there. Knowing my luck it'll happen to me 90% of the time too.
New expansion = only time Krip makes constructed videos besides showcasing a fatigue/mill deck
opponent misplay, at 28:15
could've dealt the 2 damage to the taunt and then go all face since his board was 14 damage total
This deck is so good man. Thanks Kripp
"You dare challenge the daughter of Deathwing?" "Nope, challenging Deathwing himself now" dat evolve....
"You dare challenge the daughter of Deathwing?!"
*Becomes Deathwing*
Deck is a lot of fun - thanks Kripp
15:40 would have gone for a totem, a heal one would have been fun :D
32:30 Onyxia evolves into her dad, my biology teacher tells me that evolution doesn't work that way
I found reno worked quite well in c'thun decks
