The leader started by acknowledging God, she didn't hide her belief by her title and I say thank you. Not sure if this is a christian school but she gave the students the freedom to give thanks to God for He is the one that help them make it. May God continue to bless them all on their career goals.

I am here for this! I remember arriving to school one semester to find out I needed additional funds I nor my mom had. I started to cry because going home was not an option. The financial aid lady told me not to cry that she would help me find the additional funds. There were times that I wasn’t sure where the money would come from for books, BUT GOD made a way every single time. This is bringing tears to my eyes because usually graduation services are supposed to be pious and dignified. But, when one knows what God has done, you lose your dignity like David did, when he danced out of his clothes. You better praise him children!

I do not know a single soul who graduated from Elizabeth City, but I tell you one thing it made my heart leap for joy when I saw and felt the Holy Ghost on display. I shed tears of absolute joy for these graduates. Their steadfast faith in God and themselves in the face pandemic and economic ruin is a wonder to behold. Yes, indeed. To God be the Glory!
This blessed my spirit. I'm having a day at work, but this right here had me up out of my seat, dancing, praising and giving God the glory inspite of it all, and for a school to allow the students to express their gratitude to God, the administration is to be commended. I know how they feel. School is not as easy as we would like for it to be, but God..... PRAISE Him
And they have the right too praise him. College is hard only God can keep you especially when there is so much stress and temptation around you. Praise him for keeping them all 🙏🏾

Graduation is a MAJOR accomplishment and we give God the PRAISE for all He has done to bring you THROUGH!! Some people JUST DON'T KNOW what you had to ENDURE to make it to that FINISH LINE called COMMENCEMENT DAY!! I graduated 33 years ago from Tuskegee University with a B.S. in Mathematics and 2 days before graduation they told me I couldn't walk because I was 1.5 credits SHORT of Humanities...come to find out they didn't calculate in summer school courses I took before I got there. After MUCH prayer, the Lord MOVED where they cleared it up JUST IN TIME for me to walk on that Mother's Day morning, ON TIME, HALLELUJAH!! I SURELY got my SHOUT ON!! Let those young people GLORIFY OUR GOD for TRULY IS WORTHY of ALL WORSHIP & PRAISE and He's an ON-TIME GOD!!!🙌🙌🙌

I am so thankful I lived to see an ECSU graduation like this. There is no way to know what each graduate has gone through trying to earn their degree with personal, financial, family, and life struggles, along with the pandemic, but knowing the Lord was with them every step of the way. I graduated from ECSU 47 years ago and for this to happen during graduation is evidence that times change, struggles are still real, but the Lord is always present and will pull you through if you believe and have faith. So glad to see those not ashamed to give God the Glory. Congratulations to all the Graduates and Congratulations to ECSU for allowing a Real GRADUATION CELEBRATION.

This blessed my spirit. I'm having a day at work, but this right here had me up out of my seat, dancing, praising and giving God the glory inspite of it all, and for a school to allow the students to express their gratitude to God, the administration is to be commended. I know how they feel. School is not as easy as we would like for it to be, but God..... PRAISE Him

Graduation is a MAJOR accomplishment and we give God the PRAISE for all He has done to bring you THROUGH!! Some people JUST DON'T KNOW what you had to ENDURE to make it to that FINISH LINE called COMMENCEMENT DAY!! I graduated 33 years ago from Tuskegee University with a B.S. in Mathematics and 2 days before graduation they told me I couldn't walk because I was 1.5 credits SHORT of Humanities...come to find out they didn't calculate in summer school courses I took before I got there. After MUCH prayer, the Lord MOVED where they cleared it up JUST IN TIME for me to walk on that Mother's Day morning, ON TIME, HALLELUJAH!! I SURELY got my SHOUT ON!! Let those young people GLORIFY OUR GOD for TRULY IS WORTHY of ALL WORSHIP & PRAISE and He's an ON-TIME GOD!!!🙌🙌🙌

I love it! That wasn’t no play shout either!! That girl went through somethings to walk across that stage. That kinda praise is a ,” I didn’t think I’d be here, at times I felt like giving up,Every obstacle that could, came in my direction, BUT God!” That’s a BUT GOD kinda praise there. She didn’t need no music just a genuine thankful heart.

I am so thankful I lived to see an ECSU graduation like this. There is no way to know what each graduate has gone through trying to earn their degree with personal, financial, family, and life struggles, along with the pandemic, but knowing the Lord was with them every step of the way. I graduated from ECSU 47 years ago and for this to happen during graduation is evidence that times change, struggles are still real, but the Lord is always present and will pull you through if you believe and have faith. So glad to see those not ashamed to give God the Glory.

That was alright. I felt the Holy Spirit moving in my spirit. To God be all of the glory. I know exactly how they feel. I'm trying my best to complete my thesis so that I can finally graduate this December. Nobody knows but God and you what it requires from you to complete your work.
