One on one, have depth, you surely hit the note Ben. Initially admire her beauty, but it's her cunning approach that kept me glued to your conversation.
Welcome to Malaysia and thank you for staying here long term. You seem to have a very clean and healthy lifestyle, not just in terms of diet but also things/drinks/people/places you prefer to stay away from - something good to emulate.
What a fantastic interview! Your English was fluent and precise, and you connected so well with Ben. Your answers were insightful, and your experience as a model was apparent in your confident and poised demeanor.
Thx for sharing so much about yourself, your perspectives & your life here! And I appreciate that your responses were all so sensible.. hope u get to stay here for a long time! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Malaysia also had a very healthy food. 4 excample, if u have salad, we have Kerabu. Lot of type of Kerabu, if u have steak, we have "ikan bakar", grill seafood, sate, chicken percik. Thiiss all Malay food, if u want to try it, go to Malay restaurant. We also have fish soup, chicken soup, beef soup, again go find a Malay food vendor or restaurant. U should try a east cost food like fish singgang/pindang. A very light watery soup. Very good very healthy soup.
When you go to Indian restaurants at night, you see many taking supper. Full house on some of the restaurants. Thats automatic weight gain. Your calories have nowhere to go when you sleep after that.
@ Klang valley is big. Its Klang, Shah Alam, Subang, Petaling Jaya and KL. Try Kak Som at Kampung Baru for Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Minyak and Laksam. Dapur Meks Viral at Danau Kota, Setapak.
U got me glued on this interview Ben, she's such a sweet and beautiful girl with a clean, healthy mindset... Have more interviews like this with other artistes even local artistes if u can.
spending 12 to 15 thousand a month is considered to be wealthy, many Malaysians cannot afford to spend that much money a month... the average income is less than 5 thousand. You are very lucky
In Malaysia, we have 3 income groups. (1) T20: monthly income of at least RM11,820 or high, (2) M40: monthly income between RM5,250 and RM11,819, (3) B40: monthly income of less than RM5,250. Only info in 2025.
Thank you ~Ben & The Lady-Polish~ Am a Malaysian living out of Malaysia for two decades now. I do come back/home after every several months or so. Comparatively, Malaysia is a gem in South East Asia😅
Thanks for this insighful interview, Ben! Really enjoyed it. Angelika is very poise, smart and moderate even in her thoughts or opinions which is just beautiful. ❤
the channel transitioning from multiple street interviews to one on one is like Conan o brien going from late night to podcast, more intimate and sincere, all the best Ben!
Ben, if I have not seen your videos before and someone were to tell me you are a senior interviewer from a multinational news organisation I will believe him.
She don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs, not into wild parties and catholic. Tick all the boxes. She'll get a local boyfriend soon enough. Great interview. 👍
I live in a landed property with my wife. We both are retired. We have two cars, Honda CRZ and Mercedes C200 Avantgarde. Houses and cars are all paid for. We spend RM13K monthly by and large.
Langkawi is never closed for visit. You can go there all year round. The monsoon in Langkawi is not as crazy as the east coast like Redang/Tioman/Perhentian. While waiting for these places to open, you can visit Langkawi first. Hope to see more contents about Langkawi too.
being born and raised here in Malaysia for my entire life, I've never been to Borneo. really feel like checking out there as my dad always tell me how open minded the people are in Borneo...n yeah some malaysians are accepting n take criticism very well..but some fail to do so especially you criticize about their country. And I don't think it's weird eating salad cuz everyone has their own diet
Without a doubt, our local food can be very fattening. It simply because the traditional food is not 'designed' for our current modern lifestyle. For example: back in the old days, people eat nasi lemak as breakfast before they heading to paddy fields doing heavy labour works. Rice alone is not sufficient to provide enough energy, thats why the locals adding coconut milk into it. So yes, nowadays its very unhealthy to eat nasi lemak as breakfast and heading to office sitting comfortably in front of your computer.
your expenses 15k per month would be a high. probably usd1.2-1.5k for air b&b or more? your food would probably take a chunk of it. start shopping at frozen imported beef or local beef. you can even shop online from those and delivered. the studio u had 20usd per nite seems reasonable.
Imo,its not malaysian took it negatively when someone gave honest review about malaysia but i felt it wasnt fair for random tourist street to say, malaysia is just tall building and got no personality, less friendly.(reffering to last 2 video). In fact if they stay here longer and got friend with malaysian, you will felt welcome here more and you will started to feel the" eat whole time culture" like everytime jom makan here, , go there, free food out of nowhere. You can see ichang journey.
Sadly the wages here too low, and you see or notice, there alot of fresh and good graduates of any certificates mostly doing grab, lalamove, Foodpanda riders instead etc. The availability of the work itself also not much. If they do not chose to work as riders I guess most of us either live in JB and work at Singapore or just outright move out of the country.
my question for her you like living in malaysia which is a muslim country good ..... why your country don t like foreigners while you travel to their country ??
Malay = Indo + Chinese, Chinese in KL = pure chinese of HK or Guang Dong, Chinese that live here since 200++ years ago in Penang mostly = Western + Chinese
