These piano runs are absolutely fantastic. However, I'm a bit undecided on the usage examples. Because at the END of a chord progression, they don't completely sound at rest. To my ears...they sound better AT THE BEGINNING of a chord progression. For example: The first piano run that begins with the right hand playing C major (left hand = A flat, B flat)...this resolves nicely to F major or F minor. The second piano run that begins with the right hand playing F major (left hand = D flat, E flat)...resolves nicely to either B major or B minor. The minor piano runs are even more interesting because they can also be heard in a "diminished chord context". For example: The minor piano run that begins with the right hand playing E minor (left hand = D flat, E flat)...this resolves nicely to A flat major or minor. However, this SAME piano run can also be used as a D flat diminished chord piano run...again resolving to A flat major or minor. Either way...these piano runs sound great. Big thanks for posting this video 👍
