Growing up on the westside Jackson Park Anderson IND..has a young white boy, my life was so blessed to have heard so many great Black Gospel Groups.. some of the best in the World.. I'm 65 year's old now..but I Thank God for my Childhood also my dear sweet mother the baby out of 16 Children. They to grew up on Beautiful Black Gospel Music.. thank God for Jackson Park Anderson Indiana's Westside.
I love The Meditation Singers. Mother Ernestine Rundless & [daugter] Laura Lee Rundless-Newton were awesome. [And] one of my all-time favorite Gospel Music Sopranos was part of this group; the legendary Verlene Rogers. She was a beast on background vocals; ad libs; and lead singing. [Honorable Mention: Marie Water, alto & tambourine (Della Reese's sister) and Donna Hammonds, tenor]. This is classic! Peace and love...

Thanks for posting. In this time we need Jesus be a fence all around us. When I was in the senior choir at a Greater Risen Sun B.C. in Baton Rouge, the later Alice Carter would play this song. It brought back memories.
Laura Lee is one of my influences just to sure how to let people hear you really promote and sang at the same time. I love her raw blues r and b stuff back when r and b sure really means so much hell to you!!!!!

I'm a while Guy going on 70 year's old..but they would come to our church..in Anderson Indiana on the westside Jackson Park area..the 🔥 Fire fell then..and thank God it's still falling there today.. I'm so glad we the body Wroship together back in those days.. black and white..we had such a love for each other..I never ever seen people by color.. thank God for that..my dear sweet mommy being the baby out of 16 Children in those times.. The Holy Ghost won't let you see race.. only God's creation... PRAISE HIS DEAR NAME FOREVER. IM ABOUT TO HAVE A SPELL..
