One of the scammers points you towards a site which has Robin Hood in the domain. They claim they are authorised by many countries like the FCA of the UK. Of course they are not (I checked). I asked the guy how he sleeps at night, as he tried to get 1000$ off me. Of course no reply. And sadly the FCA which replied didn't sound like they were going to deal with this properly.

    1. Prioritize standing over sitting (Nate has a standing desk now😉)
    2. Confronting your fears P.S depends on the fear!! 😱
3.Focus on fixing your posture especially when in the train, car or working on your computer(ergonomics people!!)
4.Airplane mode! Disconnect for a while and experience the world(avoid cognitive offloading😜)
    5. Meditation🧘‍♂️ (unstructured, relax, breath. BEST USED WITH AIRPLANE MODE)
6.Five Hour Rule take some time to learn something new
    7.Get some sunlight🌞🌞
    8. Cut the caffeine depency (this is very controversial to Nate😱😂)
9.We are not always right. (internal locus of control/accountability)
10.Find a stress reliever/therapeutic activity to unwind and relax(Nate is a part time lumberjack apparently😂)

    1) Standing rather than sitting - Daily mobility and posture.
    Life saver Nate.
I'm somewhat older than yourself. A VERY stressful job. Number crunching all the time.
    Result = My heart failed
I'm extremely lucky to be alive today and even more so able to read write and walk, all of which I had to re educate my body to do!
My brain was 63 minutes without oxygen. Hard to believe, and yes I'm part of medical study because of it.
I'm an organ donor and was hooked up to a machine that kept my blood flow at "low" 53 minutes after dying and being brought to the hospital for "spare parts".
    I could have saved 5 lives. Lungs/Heart valves/Liver/Kidneys.
For some reason I revived and spent 3 weeks in a coma before finally having a Ventricular heart pump and defibrillator implanted in my body.
I depend on a computer and batteries to circulate my blood and physical exercise to oxygenate it without which I can only lie in bed while waiting for a heart transplant.
    Move - Walk / I walk 5 miles a day 5 days a week now.
If you don't, and you smoke (I gave up years ago) then you will probably die of a heart related illness. Mine just stopped. Never been ill before, never had symptoms. It just stopped and I was lucky enough to be with a friend who knew what to do. O'wise I would be six feet under.
The rest makes sense and I find it's amazing that you can make a living off such obvious comments. But they are all true.
All the best and I wish you full success like you are on track for in your life.
If only Internet and UA-cam had existed 40 years ago ...
PS: Airplane mode !!! Hmmm. I WISH.
I must be reachable 24/24 and 7/7 in case a heart turns up ... Simply ignore e-mail and phone calls. I live like when portable phones didn't exist and if I'm "not there", I don't answer. No answering machine.
e-mail: well it's useful, but again. That is read first thing in the morning and the day is planned upon some of them. The rest ? = NOTHING is urgent (or phone me then) because it will only ever be read the next morning.
    Cheers.

here's a massive tip that people don't quite know when learning new languages:
-start from the "main" and "hardest" ones
    - if you're going to a latin languages for example, start with portuguese (From Portugal, not Brazil)
    - if you learn the essence of the original Portuguese, you'll understand Portuguese(Brazil), spanish, italian, etc so much easier because it's very similar the way you pronounce words and build sentences.
-This blew my mind because spanish, italian and brazillian people have a hard time understanding Portuguese from Portugal and we think it's easier the other way around.
-but yeah my choices would be Portuguese, Japanese, German and Chinese
    Cheers Nate

The book "Atomic Habits" tells how to build a collection of incremental positive daily habits that compound into changing your life. We need to (1) build healthy habits and maybe even more important (2) stop doing things that have outlived the reason we originally adopted them. It's the best book I've read all year, wish I'd read it years ago.

With the language goal, the best way to learn is converse with others in that language, so choose the one your friends/family know and can practice

Hi! Multilingual person here (and self taught on 2/4 of them). If you want to learn a new language pick one that you're interested in the most! Passion will take you so much further than choosing a language based on difficulty or usefulness. I recommend picking one that you love and creating your reason "why" to stay motivated. So for example, I taught myself Japanese and my reasons why were so I could watch anime without subtitles and pass the N1 level of the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test). And I also taught myself Irish and my reason why was to connect to my lineage.

Great ideas for self-care and self-improvement for the new year. God knows we need a positive focus with so much negative going on in the world. Thanks for the great content as always, Nate! Merry Christmas!!! ❤🎄🎅
