- **PLEASE LEAVE ANNOTATIONS ON!!!!!****
This video may be unpopular, but I get so damn tired of hearing "only 90's kids remember this", "only 90's kids would understand." or 90's kids just thinking they're so damn special just because they grew up in a fucking decade.I am aware in the 90's there were a lot of popular things newly released, like the internet, but I hear other than that, it's not that special. And let me also point out, all generations have flaws and fucked up things. It's not worth complaining about how the world is changing and choosing to live in the past, the world is always gonna change and you have to accept that. If you can't, then please find a way to leave this planet and start your own civilization on another planet with only past technology, fashion, trends, etc.
In the comments, someone sent me this link: www.collegehumo...
I suggest all you "90's kids" check it out sometime.
90's kids claim that no kid in the 90's decade did something stupid? They Should take a look back at the 1999 Columbine High School massacre.
That's exactly what I was thinking. I wish I had brought that up in this video.
spongebobfan190 I was wondering if you can make a video on your thoughts on the next Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
Flapjack329 Maybe. Personally, I'm not really big on doing videos like that, but i'll consider it.
spongebobfan190 Ok. But since you regret making the Why this generation sucks video, update the description on the video?
90s kids were also bullying, cussing, drinking, smoking, doing drugs, etc......90s kids are liars.
I think these so called "90s kids" should stop making fun of today's generation of kids and LET THEM GROW UP IN THEIR OWN GENERATION. they have their own cartoons, their own video games, television, hand held devices to grow up with and sooner or later, they're gonna remember the 2010s and think "wow that was such a good time" just as a 90's kid would think the 90's was a good time. we all had a generation to grow up with and i think we need to let today's generation grow up with their own time rather than forcing them to watch cartoons 90s kids watched as kids. im glad im not the only one who thinks this, and i tip my hat to you, sir.
+THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN RETIRED PERMANENTLY I agree fully, 90s kids are so blooming annoying!
+Michael Marston To the children that are growing up in the 2010s at the moment, it won't be a forgotten decade.
+THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN RETIRED PERMANENTLY True, soon 2000's kids will be to 2010's kids "you are stupid because you don't know what an XBOX 360 is or what a PS3 is" you see how the cycle goes?
We are the same generation
TheBrickGuy7939 fuck you
Back in the 90s they fantasized about being in the 70s and some people had nostalgia about the 1920s.
90’s kids don’t realize that one of the reasons old shows seemed so good is because they watched them as a kid.
You had lower standards back then so everything seemed 100 times better
There’s nothing wrong with looking back on these because many of them were pretty awesome. Just don’t go saying that they were better than cartoons nowadays.
Cartoons today aren’t worse. You’re just older making it harder to enjoy them as much as a kid.
Go back and watch Cow & Chicken. It’s probably not as good as you remember.
somedot. Or cat dog. Almost 90s dipshit loved that show but they don’t know that it’s not really a good show looking up. Other examples of 90s cartoons that these people think they are good just because they liked them as a kid but in reality they’re not as good. Like quack pack, yo yogi, shnookens and meat, or god forbid Rocket Power and Space Jam
There some bad shows in the 90s as well, there good and bad shows in every decade. There some shows and games I regret liking as a kid.
I was born in 1991 but the 2000s had WAY better cartoons than the 90s.
@@MylarBalloonLover 2000s got some good shows too.
Too right. I said I hated the live-action Scooby-Doo movies and a butthurt '90s baby told me that I had no taste. :D
I'm pretty sure the people who are born in the so called "terrible" generation were raised by people who were 90s kids... Who were, by the way, mostly people who were either born in the eighties, and early/mid nineties. Anyway, today's gen does have it's highlights. The thing about kids being "dumber"? Haha, no. I know young kids who have learned to operate a phone as young as a year old, CHILDREN nowadays are developing phone apps and what are some of these 90s kids doing? Sitting on their butts and blogging about how much they hate the 2000s kids???
That's true. And if anything, I think 90's kids spend more time online than kids nowadays.
Well that's bullshit most people's parents are in the age bracket of 40-55 meaning they would of been born 60-70's maybe 80's at a push they weren't 90's kids
Oh and 90's babies are not 90's kids
if you were born between 1983-1992, you're a 90's kid
if you were born between 1993-2002, you're a 2000's kid
and if you were born between 2003-2012, you're a 10's kid
Exactly
Way I see it:
1987-1993 - 1990s kid
1994-1996 - 90s/00s Hybrid
1997-2003 - 2000s kid (I fit in this category because I was born in 2003)
2004-2006 - 00s/10s Hybrid
2007-2013 - 2010s kid
2014-2016 - 10s/20s Hybrid
2017-2023 - 2020s kid
@@colinmiller8824 I was born in 1996. My memories of the late 90s are vague. I remember bits of 1999, but I grew up with a lot of things from the 90s, and the 2000s. My first movie was on vhs, and there was only one computer in the house. There were even floppy disks in the house. We didn't start buying dvds until it was late 2004.
I was born in 1991... but I don't care... I'm not part of the 90s kid BS
Way I see it:
1984-1991: 90s Kid
1994-2001: 2000s Kid
2004-2011: 2010s Kid
2014-2021: 2020s Kid
If you’re born in 1982 or 1983 you’re basically both an 80s kid & a 90s kid. Same goes for 2000s kids, 2010s kids, and so on
I was born April 13, 1998 and this is a good video! I completely agree! I cannot even stand it when 90's kids rant their heads off about modern video games that I like such as Call of Duty, Minecraft, Happy Wheels, Halo, Skyrim, and Roblox. I hate to break it to you, 90's kids, but kids nowadays aren't gonna want to play games with choppy graphics that were made before their lifetime. I honestly prefer 2001-now video games but 1960's-2000 music. I absolutely hate modern day music unless it's by a band that's been around for awhile, or if it's Bruno Mars. Other than that, it sucks pretty badly. Another thing I'd like to add to that is that 90's kids aren't making modern day music any better either. In fact, modern day artists like Kesha, Miley Cyrus, and plenty others are 90's kids themselves!
Look out everyone, butthurt 90's kids finally got on this video.
***** I'm not gonna block them, because it helps prove my point in this video even further.
***** Exactly.
they're always butthurt, thats why they're called 90s KIDS, because they never grew up, they're still immature.
BellicaTV Good one!
I got bashed by a 90 or a 2000 kid say no decade is better or worse, I do not miss the past that much. People these days can't see the whole picture of the past only the good things.
Being born in the 90’s isn’t an achievement.
Woohoo, you were born. Now live your life.
Agree and stop shoving your favorite things and popular things down our throats 90s kids.
@@ricardohuff8774 I’m sorry if this was 4 weeks ago. But for someone who was born in 2006. I at least don’t try to cherry pick the decade I’m in and I just accept it’s literally just like any other decade. Shit and other depressing stuff will happen but that’s how every decade is. But it really amazes me how the 90’s fanboys are literally trying to act like their decade was the fucking utopia of life and technically you know bash the current generation’s stuff they like.
@@thetimetraveler7297 That what they always do even the people of today the games shows and other stuff just cherry pick just like pokemon but there better RPGs than pokemon that just a soulless cashcow since it came out Mario and Zelda get too much praise for no reason. There other companies just died out
@@ricardohuff8774 True also last time I remembered there was a lot of shitty movies made in the 90’s and I mean a lot.
@@thetimetraveler7297 oh yes movies like the Disney renennissane the big four get too much praise, they many bad stuff back then as well, but they did not see the big picture
I gotta be honest, when the PS3 first came out I was bitching at my parents about them not buying me a PS3 when I was 9-12 years old. I was really spoiled when I was younger. I kept begging my parents for so many PS2 games. We've been through it all. 95% of us have all been spoiled at some point regardless of when we were born.
You're not alone there. I was always harassing my parents about buying me a Nintendo DS or a PSP, just because this one kid made fun of me for having a GBA instead of a DS. But I grew up and realized that kid is most likely a spoiled brat whose parents give him everything he asks for. Plus, I wasn't the only one still playing a Game Boy, because my friend had one. I don't even have a DS today because I play on game consoles that are so much better anyway.
spongebobfan190 same here, when I was like 9 years, I wanted to get a PSP, and an Itunes card.
BratzSamuel2005 Like I told you before man, don't get mad at kids today. We aren't making the stuff you hate, it's the 70's, 80's and even your fellow 90's kids who make everything you hate and bitch about now. So my suggestion is you either accept the truth that things have changed and move on with the present, or continue to be an outcast living in the past.
spongebobfan190 can you do a rant on the 90's kids that you know like doknot1999 or brawlmaster? there are starting to get on my nervs, because they keep talking too much about the 90's
jedijordaninfinity Don't get me wrong, I agree Doknot1999 is annoying about the fact he brags about the 90's, but I also agree with some of his other rants. Plus, I don't do rants on other users unless they are relevant to the topic I rant about, I wouldn't make a rant just focusing on other people.
Butthurt 90's kids are making me laugh so hard. Nice video.
+Arron Harrington Thanks man.
spongebobfan190 You're welcome :)

And our generation is soft
These people freak out and give death threats if don’t agree with their biased opinions.
i think early 2000s better
me too.
Same
I agree with you bud the early 2000s has aged better and basically perfected everything.👍
I agree with this rant. Even though I think today’s society has gone down the toilet, no decade was ever perfect! Not even the 1990s.
They should look back at the Rawadan Genocide, the LA Riots, the Columbine High School shooting, The Gulf War, the deaths of Jim Henson, Bob Ross, Sammy Davis Jr, Kurt Cobain, Selena, the Chicago heatwave of 1995 that killed so many people alone, etc. All of that shit happened in the 1990s. At least I give new and modern stuff a chance even from this new decade, the 2020s. Those idiotic “90s kids” don’t and that’s sad. Maybe that’s a reason why this generation sucks, because of all these idiotic “90s kids” and Nostalgic Fanboys running around hating everything from today.
Agreed they think today suck but it will be good. No decade is perfect at all even we were kids and teens, they did not see the whole picture just the good stuff and shove it down our throats.
I've heard rumors that they are suicides going on, on social media with 90's kids bullying 00's kids.
I wouldn't be surprised. They just try to live their lives, but instead, they get made fun of for being born in a different time than "90's kids." They have to accept the 90's are over and move on with life.
BratzSamuel2005 Too young for what?
BratzSamuel2005 Well, let's see here, I'm about to be a high school junior, UA-cam allows people 13 and over to create accounts, i'm old enough to get a learners permit or a drivers licence, so your comment is invalid.
BratzSamuel2005 Well, if you made your own video sharing site, it's not like you would know the real age of people signing up. And thanks for all those responses. It helps knowing that there is real life evidence to prove my point about 90's kids.
BratzSamuel2005 So get off UA-cam, because this site is full of them, and you can't say they're too young, because you need to be 13 to create an account, and most of them are older than 13.
In a few words, this is what I think:
The 90s is NOT the best decade, because it wasn't perfect and had problems in it too. In fact, the 90s is a very INSPIRED decade because lots of decades before it are what caused the entertainment and amazing things in it to happen.
Your right
Not even the 80s 2000s and 2010s
@@andrewventura3287 no decade is better or worse than the other

PerfectTube12 yeah these 90s kids need to chill the hell out the 90s is not even that good as people say is when you really realize it
I'm just like you. I was born in the year 1998 and posted a rant about the 90s kids on Facebook. And a bunch of angry adults got pist off and deleted my post and kicked me out if their group.
+solar Z Wow, and these people claim kids today get butthurt over everything? They need to shut off their computers and get some fresh air.

+Michael Marston actually I'm cool with my child hood because i'm from the early 2000s.
***** The hypocrisy is strong with this one.
+Michael Marston I would love to see you try man baby.
It’s not just 90’s kids who have this kind of smug “Oooo I’m so great because of when I was born...” bullshit! 80’s kids also like to boast about how they “still went to school when it snowed” and “always played outdoors on their bikes when the kids of today stay in on their computers”! And they like to go on about how “life was simpler...” and “We were happier...” 😡😡😡😡 For the record I was born near the beginning of the 80’s so I grew up in BOTH the 80’s and 90’s and I totally agree with this guy’s rant!!!
I constantly see Facebook posts about “the good old days” when everything was apparently so fucking great!!!
Ok then, buy a VHS and see how “fun” that is, get rid of your internet, buy a shitty old tv and limit yourself to 4 channels, go climb a fricken tree if it’s SO great, THEN you can get nostalgic!
My guess is that none of those douches will do any of those things because the truth is that most things were actually a pain in the arse and going back to dial up or in my case no internet at all would in fact be utterly shit!!!
Every kid say that and that is stupid. I agree even i'm get tired of that saying n64 is the best please stop just stop. What about the other consoles? They good too.
YES THIS RIGHT HERE IS FACTS
@@BabySonicGT I'm tired of hearing Nintendo handhelds are the best, there other good handhelds that not Nintendo same for games as well.
I'm a 92er, so I don't really consider myself as a "true 90s kid" or a "true 00's kid", I'm a hybrid of both. And I really wanna say you've done a fabulous job by making this video. I'm truely fed up and disgusted with those 90's tards acting like gods and ramming down to younger generations throats how much they had no childhood, and whatever bullshit they can say.
You've raised a lot of valid points here, that I agree 100%, however I've found some more examples of their ignorance. I've seen several "only 90's kids remember (fill the blank)" that showed Looney Tunes, original walkman that was made around 1979 or Hannah Barbera cartoons from the 60's. Another claim that made me facepalm was how they claimed things like paper-rock-scissors game, Pokemon, pillow fortress or paper notes as 90's exclusives. I'm from Europe, I went school in the 00's and I was doing all this stuff back then with my classmates. Or even worse how they claim to be the last generation that played outside, eventhough back in the 00's I've seen the playgrounds filled with kids having fun. However the award of being the dumbest one is how they claim that there was no wars back in the 90's (sic!).
Also I've came across your "Why this generation sucks" video brfore and I gotta say you've stepped into the right direction, not letting yourself spoon feed by those douchebags. People need to realize that no generation has been perfect. Too bad there are very few people who think like me or you.
Thanks for the feedback, I didn't think this video would be this popular. I agree, they're just a bunch of lowlives who can't accept the fact the 90's are over and move on with life. I saw a video called "Kids react to a walkman" and I saw all these comments saying "Oh, I lost faith in this generation because kids today are so stupid. They don't even know what a walkman is." And I saw on this app called iFunny, this person said he lost "faith" in this generation because he said his 7 YEAR OLD sister had no idea who Johnny Bravo was. I kid you not, I really saw that. I don't expect kids nowadays to know what a walkman is or who Johnny Bravo was, considering nobody uses a walkman anymore, and the fact that Cartoon Network canceled Johnny Bravo a long time ago. and I hate how they take toys like Play Doh that's still around today, and was around long before the 90's, and claim it was just a 90's thing. My brother is 6 and he plays with Play Doh, and I did when I was younger too. Also, I agree with you on the going outside thing. I played outside with my friends when I was younger, and in my neighborhood, kids still play outside. Also, i'm 16, but I had dial-up internet until 2006, and it was pretty annoying, also, when I was younger, I watched cartoons on Saturday mornings because I didn't have cable, and I watched VHS tapes and I had a computer game saved on a floppy disk. I'm willing to bet if iPhones were around in the 90's, they would probably keep harassing their parents for one and spend most of their time on it. It's great knowing i'm not the one who feels that was about "90's kids." If I could go back in time and prevent myself from making that "Why this generation sucks" video, I would.
And don't worry, i'm not like that anymore, going around saying "this generation sucks" and sucking up to 90's kids. I cringe everytime someone comments on it and I go on it just to reply to that person. I'm probably gonna take it down since I regret making it.

I uses a 1998 Sony Minidisc Walkman. I HATE new stuff!
BratzSamuel2005 Man, I just wanna thank you for raising HitmanWolf46 and my points about 90's kids even further.
BratzSamuel2005 So if we go hang ourselves, then I take it the human race can end here considering you're calling 21 century kids stupid and plan not to have kids yourself, considering anyone born after 1995 is automatically stupid. Your logic amazes me. Thanks for making me laugh. Keep it up.
I like the 90s, but I do not even want to encounter those so-called 90s kids. And I like some things from the 2000s as well.
I just recently found a post on Facebook about drake and Josh saying only 90s kids remember it like wtf drake and Josh wasn't in the fuckin 90s and another thing they like bashing the 2000s and 10s but there always taking stuff from the 2000s saying only they remember it that like me taking something from the 90s and saying only 80s kids will remember
Exactly because it doesn't matter if anyone is born in 2000s and 2010s they can still experience the fun
Our world has always been bad. It just gets worse and better at the same time as life goes on. Technology innovates and makes our world better, but on the contrary most kids get lazier and grow up unintelligent. On the bright side, not all kids turn out that way. Our world is filled with variety, but idiots stand out more than anything. Great rant, man. I hope to see more.
Thanks. I might even continue that spongebob movie game walkthrough even though it's been a year since I made a new video for that.
And they act like every kid in their time and before grew up, went to college and got successful careers. They act like people dropping out of high school/college is a new thing, and that when they were in high school/college, nobody was dropping out. Mark Zuckerberg may be successful now, and he grew up in the 80's-90's, but he dropped out of Harvard.
Just like america gers hate through the years.
BratzSamuel2005 Oh, but the Game Boy or the Sega Genesis didn't brainwash people back in the 90's?
BratzSamuel2005 Hd existed back in the 90's, search hd videos from 1993.
What if all of these "90's kids" aren't actually 90's kids, but just 2000's kids that act like they're 90's kids and they're just trolling people who can accept that they were born when they were born? That wouldn't surprise me if that were the actual case.

E.S.T.1999 born in the years between 1990-1999 only qualifies you to be a 90s baby but those who are born in the very late 90s(October to December ‘99) calling themselves 90s kids but no, they barely being born in the 90s though and mostly being assumed as a 90s fetus and lived as a baby mostly in the 2000s but I still would call them very late 90s baby because of their birth period.
They are being dependent in the 90s with barely independence at all after they were born. They are a 2000s Kid after all which is their first independent life of them growing up as a kid and living on their own with a wild fresh air.
Sonic12Lexi
Currently that isn't true. If you were born in 1990 - 92. Mostly likely, you would have memories from 1995 - 1996 and 97. The mid and late 90's.
REAL 90s kids are 1984-1991. You are “in-between” 90s and 00s kids if you were born in 1992-1993.
90s kids need to stop bragging about that they did things before the 2000s kids were even before.
Yay! I found a video that explains that why 90s kids are bitching on something! Good job dude! :D
@Hunter Hellfire At least i'm not a butthurt 90's kid living in the past complaining about how everything sucks now. And by the way, outside still exists, and kids still go outside, so your point is invalid. Please keep up with the trolling, because i'm actually getting a good laugh out of this.
The 90s are the best decade in human history! The 90s started it all. From TV to music, video games and everything else. The 90s had the best and most memorable shows. Nothing can compare to shows from the 90s. By the way kid, jealousy is a very ugly thing.
Hunter Hellfire Yeah, Be sure to thank 70's and 80's kids for creating the cartoons you enjoyed watching as a kid. And thank some of the 80's shows for giving your 90's shows inspiration.
Hunter Hellfire You do realize the 60's, 70's, and the 80's made the 90's, right? Without those 3 decades, you wouldn't have the stuff you had in the 90's. Hell, your parents were probably born between the 50's-60's, so don't insult the times where you weren't even born.
Hunter Hellfire My point still remains though.
Hunter Hellfire Again, my point still remains.

Because you don't remember the 90s

You know i have a feeling most of the "90's Kids" that do this are kids who were born in like 1997 to 1999, they didn't actually live through the 90's like actual 90's kids. Most actual 90's kids don't do most of those things that people claim "90's Kids" do.

The sad thing is that 2000s kids are beginning to do the same shit. Everywhere online, you see people bragging about the PS2, Avatar The Last Airbender, and other things from the 2000s, so in 15 years, we should expect 2010s memes with fortnite and iPhones un-ironically.
@@spongebobfan190 History repeats itself they stuck in the past only looking for the good and popular things instead of the whole picture.
I agree with this man. I went on a huge rant when people said this new Lion King show was going to suck just because it was for kids. Wasn't Lion King actually for kids? Well it was a family movie but others I agree. We live in a generation that will keep getting new shows and cartoons. There maybe some fails but at least we won't see Reruns of the same show over and over!! I'm becoming an Animator and from seeing this I don't want anyone to complain over my shows.
Broskos A new Lion King show? On another note, they don't realize if Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network aired the same shows over and over again, people would get bored of them eventually and stop watching the channels. The only reason they see those channels as "shit" now is because they grew up.
Yup. So true
The 1990's is also not perfect because it actually realistically did had some bad times like:
-Kurt Cobain's suicide (which was 7 months before I was born on November 17, 1994)
-Selena Quintanilla-Perez's death (4 months after I was born)
-The Columbine High School massacre
-1992 Los Angeles Riots
-Oklahoma City bombing
-Bosnian Genocide
-Monica Lewinsky Scandal
-Waco Siege
-Ruby Ridge standoff
-etc.
Also the media (video games, anime, music, movies, cartoons, etc.) that we grew up with is not what the 1990's are all about because they're just culture.
You actually gave some good points.
@@cooldude3118 Absolutely very true! Just showing that I'm NOT like those fanboys.
@@NinteSegaRarew you have discord

Good points.
90s never win. Every generations has their own lifestyle and BTW the 2000s were the best times as a child so, you 90s get better back off!
Anything you get tired of people praising stuff from the past? Games, shows, etc.
Most 90s nostalgitards are 90s BABIES, not actual 90s kids.
80s baby/90s kid: 1984-1991
90s baby/00s kid:1994-2001
00s baby/10s kid:2004-2011
10s baby/20s kid:2014-2021
1992-1993 babies are in between of 90s kids and 00s kids. Same goes for 2002-2003 babies to being 00s/10s kids, same goes for 2012-2013 babies for being 10s/20s kids, and same goes for 2022-2023 babies to being 20s/30s kids
You aren’t wrong about that at all.
Fuck you nigga.
Only nineties kids will remember this video.
Choke on THAT.
Holy shit, 34 dislikes? I see some of these "90's kids" are finally getting on this video and getting butthurt that I insulted them for being hypocritical morons. Keep on at it "90's kids", you getting mad at this video proves my points even further, and it shows you all get more butthurt than kids nowadays.
What proves it even more is that there was once a similar video on UA-cam ranting about 90s kids' snobbism, which is now taken out. It had only 2 likes and 11 dislikes.
HitmanWolf46 And they say kids nowadays get butthurt so easily. Honestly, these people need to accept the 90's are over and move on with life.
I totally agree with you there buddy i was born in 1997 and it pisses me off when someone from 90's say that you need to be born around 1993 to experience it.
im 17 and i have the same experience as you buddy ;D
Marley Johnson Good point.
I was born in 2003 and 90s kids are AWFUL
I consider myself a 2000's kid because I remember 2006 (a time before smartphones boomed), I remember playing outside, I watched TV a lot
Good job telling those snobby 90s kids off

It’s like saying 00s Kid will understand everything from the 00s and once January 1, 2010 is in meaning that Ben 10 has vanished, PS3 is vanished and Xbox 360 vanished and everything else from the Noughties disappeared into thin air and saying that only 00s kid can remember and they are special.
But it’s not only 00s kid though even Xbox 360, Ben 10 and PS3 continued after the 00s.

I ABSOLUTELY 100% AGREE WITH THIS VIDEO! I'M SO FLIPPING SICK, TIRED AND BLOOMING FED UP OF 90S KIDS BEING SO SNOBBY!!!!!! 90s kids tick me off so much and they're annoying as heck! They are very snobby! They just need to grow up and accept the fact that the 90s are over!
"Wah, wah, look at all these spoilt kids of today and look at these stupid 2000s kids who had a rubbish childhood and they listen to Justin Bieber! Sorry 2000s kids, you had no childhood, the 90s were better! You're so stupid!"
Spongebobfan190 is right. The fact that they constantly whine on the internet about this trash proves his points even further! SNAP OUT OF IT 90S KIDS!!!!
Mark my words. Being born in an earlier decade doesn't make your life any better. A decade doesn't make your childhood. Good memories of your own life do. Also, you shape your life into what it is.
To add to that, I was born on the 21st January 1996 and in my opinion, my life has been absolutely brilliant; when I was a kid, me and my two younger brothers used to play outside in our back garden all day. Birds and squirrels would come into the garden and we'd imagine what type of cool life they had in the trees. If it was really hot weather, we'd have the paddling pool out and we'd get ice-creams from ice-cream vans. We also rode our bikes on the street and lots of kids were playing outside. We went to the park a lot as well, and it was filled with kids having fun.
Whenever we were indoors, we'd have lots of fun too. I would draw lots of pictures all day (I've always been creative since I was little) and I also remember watching Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies (yes, the very old 40s/50s/60s cartoons that are my favourite), the Disney films Bambi and The Many Adventures Of Winnie the Pooh (those Disney films were my favourite), classic Pixar films such as Toy Story 1 and 2, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo and The Incredibles as well as classic DreamWorks films such as Shrek 1 and 2 and Shark Tale. One of my younger brothers would play PS1 and PS2 games as well as Gameboy Colour and GBA games. My other younger brother was very fascinated in trains.
When my teenage years started, I had a great time in secondary school. I especially loved art! College was a slump time for me in my opinion because of how horrible the atmosphere of the place was and I could've gone to my secondary school sixth form instead, which would've been so much better, ah well. Then university came and that's where I am at the moment. I'm currently 18 years old (nearly 19) and I love university. I'm currently doing an Animation and Illustration course because I want to be a famous animator when I'm older and I love cartoons.
At the same time, I miss my childhood and I feel so nostalgic about it. They were such good times! :')
AND WITH THAT I WANT TO LEAVE A FINAL THING; I SERIOUSLY DO NOT GIVE A TOSS ABOUT WHAT 90S KIDS THINK!!! >:)
Michael Robinson I couldn't have said it any better dude, you basically took the words out of my mouth, and I definitely remember Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies still being on Cartoon Network throughout the early 2000's. Plus New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh yeah I saw that on Disney Channel back during my early toddler years. But all the points in this video are true.
Yes, all the points in this video are very true. 90s kids need to stop living in the past and just accept the fact that the 90s are over. They also need to stop judging young people because of when they were born. They can't control when they were born. I'm so fed up with this ageism.
Michael Robinson Yeah, childhood memories can start as early as 3 years old, and another thing I hate about 90's kids is when they judge and try to claim what you actually grew up with. Some people may have great memories and can remember things as early as 2 1/2 years old, some people might just have bad memories and not remember anything before they are 8. It varies from person to person. I was born in the same year as you, but one month after you, and I remember the leftover 90's culture still around throughout the early 2000's. I remember my grandparents old house they lived in from 1986-1999, until they moved around mid-2000 or so, which is the house they are still in today. I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday, I was in Kindergarten. Plus, I remember watching Cartoon Network regularly with all the Cartoon Cartoons and classic Looney Tunes/Tom & Jerry shorts when the channel still used their original checkerboard logo throughout the early 2000's (until 2004 when we were 8 years old when they changed it to "CN"). So you can't judge and tell me what I grew up with. It varies.
mqgTWO96 I agree with you that memories can start at a very early age. I also agree with you about how really annoying and ticking off it is when 90s kids try and CLAIM what you grew up with. They deliberately CLAIM that you grew up with trash only just to make you feel ashamed. I find it rubbish what they're saying. I know exactly what VHSs are. I had Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies VHSs, Tom and Jerry VHSs, Pixar film VHSs and many other VHSs when I was a kid (I've still got some).
And about what you were saying about how early memories can begin in your life, you're very right. Heck, my earliest memories of my life start from when I was 3 years old in 1999 and I remember my life in the early 2000s as well when the 90s culture was still around for a bit. During that time, I remember my dad teaching me the alphabet, teaching me how to count, teaching me very simple words and teaching me very simple additions and subtractions. When I was little I also remember playing outside in my back garden, going to nursery, drawing pictures (because I've been creative for a very long time), watching the Disney films "The Many Adventures Of Winnie the Pooh" and "Bambi" on VHS. One major event that I remember from 1999 is that it's the year my youngest brother was born (he was born on October 4th). I remember going to the hospital to see him when he was a baby in the crib. He's 15 now. Another major life event I remember from 1999 is the Christmas I had in that year. It was a brilliant Christmas I had. I can remember all of these life events as if they happened yesterday.
Another thing about my life in the early 2000s is that I was 5 years old in 2001, and I was just starting Year 1 in primary school when 9/11 happened (I started Year 1 in September 2001). To be honest, I don't really remember 9/11 that much, but my dad gave me hints back when it happened i.e. he said hints like ".....thousand......hundred and......... people were killed and there were two big plane crashes too" or something like that. Now that I'm 19, I now know what he was referring to back then.
I'm a 19 year old university student now and I want to be a cartoonist/animator when I'm older. I know a lot about the history of animation.
Hunter Hellfire Actually, memories are first formed averagely between ages 2-4 depending on the person. If somebody starts developing memories by age 6, there's something seriously wrong with their brain.
The 90s kids be like i did things before you were even born and i find it funny and sad. This is coming from someone born in the early 2000s.
SpongeBob technically counts as a 2000s because it was only invented in 1999
Also it was more popular in the 2000s, I consider spongebob’s peak early 2000s
I grew up in between the 2000s and 2010s so I remember when that show was barely 10 years old
I remember commenting on this video a long time ago and I have come to realize that the fascination with the 90s isn't so much the decade itself, but how to some it is seen as the perfect pinnacle of human culture, especially in terms of human-tech relations. I would have to say though and keep in mind this is only coming from a 19 year old, but IMO the 2000s were the more perfect decade. Sure everyone hates on the 2000s for being this 'dark' turn of events. But the social and pop culture was way more interesting and everything kind of started to homogenize a bit more culturally, of course came the birth of social media and it unleashed human nature like nothing before.
The funniest thing about the so called “90’s kids” is that they might have been born in that decade, but really you should have been born in the 80’s and come of age in the 90’s to really have experienced it. I was born in 82 and remember bits n pieces of the 80’s but really the 90’s was where I came of age. The creator of this video is right though. It basically means nothing at the end of the day.
a lot of them like to complain on this generation where it's about puberty, where they say "omy god, why does life suck, back in my days kids normal bodies, nowadays kids getting adult bodies, like bunch of boys getting really tall, and girls getting bigger breast. all that, this gen suck...." that part really just confused me a lot. because the only reason why kids who are at 12-15 are having puberty is because on how their bodies grow, not because of this generation, heck i'm 13, and i'm 6 foot tall, and i'm glad i'm like that, because the taller I am, the more i'm going to be good at basketball.
I'm 16 and I'm about 5'10.
The same thing is happening with the 2000s kids stealing 2010s shows
Another thing I really want to admit, is that I actually really like the 2000s and feel so nostalgic about them (*ducks down to avoid objects being thrown by 90s kids*), not just because of the good things that came out in the 2000s (I ignore all the bad things and problems that happened in the 2000s like 9/11 and the rest of them), but because I have so many lovely memories of my life that happened in that decade that I feel so nostalgic about, such as all of my lovely childhood memories that I keep mentioning about. My childhood was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT and I made those memories by myself, not the 2000s doing it for me. A decade doesn't make your childhood, YOU MAKE YOUR CHILDHOOD MEMORIES YOURSELF; GOOD MEMORIES MAKE YOUR CHILDHOOD. About the good things that came out in the 2000s, well, I ignore all the bad things and problems that happened in the 2000s like 9/11 and the rest of them and I search and look through to find all the good things that happened in the 2000s as well. I love the animated feature-length movies that came out in the 2000s such as Pixar's Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Ratatouille and Disney's animated feature-length movies that came out in the early 2000s were brilliant in my opinion as well such as Lilo and Stitch and Brother Bear. I also really like DreamWorks' feature-length animated movies that came out in the 2000s such as Shrek, Shark Tale, Shrek 2 and Over The Hedge. There was also the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies feature-length animated/live-action movie Looney Tunes: Back In Action that I thought was a brilliant movie as well. I also think that the PS2/XBOX/Nintendo GameCube era of video games was brilliant as well. The reason why 90s kids think that the 2000s was absolute hell is because they always look for all the bad things that happened in the 2000s and can't be bothered to search and look through and see the good things that happened in the 2000s.
One thing I want to admit is that my favourite cartoons will always be Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies (made from the 30s to 60s) and Tom and Jerry (made from the 40s to 60s). These legendary animated cartoons were made during The Golden Age Of American Animation that went from 1928 to the late 60s when Disney, Warner Brothers and MGM were rivalling massively against each other to make what I consider the most legendary animated cartoons that have ever existed on the planet Earth. They played at the theatres as short films before feature-length movies to the general public. They're even WAY BETTER than the 90s Renaissance Age Of Animation because the adults in the 90s had to get inspiration from it. In my opinion, Warner Brothers (from the 30s to 60s) is the best out of all of them. The Golden Age Of American Animation (1928 to the 60s) can't get touched.
I'm a 19 year old student currently doing an Animation and Illustration Course at university because I hopefully want to become maybe a children's book illustrator, or maybe a cartoonist for comic-strips or maybe an animator when I'm older.
And with that I want to say a last thing; I DON'T GIVE A TOSS ABOUT WHAT 90S KIDS THINK! SIT DOWN 90S KIDS! >:)
+Michael Robinson I've spent my entire schoolyears in the 2000's and you're damn right! Especially the games, like all of my favourite franchises such as Hitman, Tomb Raider (it originated in the 90s but still), Devil May Cry and Splinter Cell came out in that decade. Don't forget about the music that came around back then too. Eventhough most of the music myself that I listen to isn't neither mainstream nor underground, I recall Eminem, Gorillaz, Danzel, Black Eyed Peas to name a few nicely. But from my life memories the school trips were the best of it all! :D
What pisses me of is how 90s kids believe that only they have the right to remember hanging around with friends or playing hide-and-seek, because supposedly everything was replaced by smartphones right at the turn of 2000. Or how they throw temper tantrums if you don't know 90s consoles or TV shows. They're too stupid to realize that there are kids who can't remember these stuff, as it was discontinued before they were even born. Asids that, some of this stuff wasn't around in some countries as well. For example I'm from Poland and we had no Nicklodeon in the 90s, we were kinda backwards with gaming until the times of 5th/6th console generation came to existence, but that's a different story.
As for the animation, surely 20s-60s surely were golden for Looney Tunes, but the late decades weren't bad at all.
I believe Disney has put out a couple decent movies. Plus my parents associate the Central European cartoons from the 70s with their childhood a lot. Don Bluth and Hayao Miyazaki were extremely prominent during the 80s, so one could say they both defined animated movies from that time. In my younger days I have watched Disney Rennesaince, cartoons on Jetix and CN, Pixar movies, to name a few, but I recall Dreamworks movies the most fondly.
I remember, when I went to see Shrek, Madagascar, Over The Hedge, Kung Fu Panda etc on the silver screen.
I was 10-15 back then so not really a small kid, but even as a young adult I still find something in these movies that enjoys me ;)
As much as a typical elitist 90s kid refuses to understand, as long as you have fond memories, decades and sometimes even age doesn't matter.
Btw I was born in 1992.
HitmanWolf46 I agree fully with you about lots of things that you said, and yes I agree with you that it's really annoying when 90s kids think that they have the right to remember playing outside all day such as hide-and-seek, riding bikes, doing activities outdoors etc and if 2000s kids say that they loved doing it, then they just get so ticked off and say that 2000s kids just grew up with trash just to make them feel ashamed and they also think that if 2000s kids don't remember anything that's from the 90s such as the cartoons or video games, then they just talk trash about 2000s kids and it's so annoying. I also think that if they say "only 90s remember this" then it's so stupid. Here's an article about it that you should check out. By the way, you'll find a comment by me from the comments section if you look hard enough in the comments section:

I was born on the 21st January 1996 and so I'm a 2000s kid and I remember playing outside with my two younger brothers playing outdoor games like what I've mentioned; me and my two younger brothers remember playing hide-and-seek, riding our bikes on the street and we'd sometimes go to the park to have fun, and when we played outside, it was filled with kids playing outside. When it was really hot weather, we'd have the paddling pool out and we'd get ice-cream from ice-cream vans. Whenever we were indoors, we'd watch Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies and Tom and Jerry on Cartoon Network's sibling channel Boomerang and on VHS (I've still got some Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies and Tom and Jerry VHSs). We'd also play PS1 and PS2 games and Gameboy Colour and Gameboy Advance games. I would draw lots of pictures all the time; I absolutely loved drawing pictures when I was a kid and I loved doing it all the time because I've been very creative all my life.
I also have lovely memories of my dad teaching me the alphabet and very simple words and teaching me how to count and very simple sums. That was such a lovely time and that was back when I used to go to primary school in the 2000s. I went to primary school from September 2000 to July 2007 and like you, I think that school trips were amazing. They were such an amazing thing when I was a kid and I have lovely memories of them.
Other brilliant memories of my childhood that I feel nostalgic about include me and my family going to Chester Zoo, me and my family going abroad to Guadeloupe in August 2002 when I was 6 years old, me and my family going abroad to Paris, France in August 2003 when I was 7 years old and me and my family going abroad to Guadeloupe a second time in August 2006 when I was 10 years old.
Another thing that I massively agree with you about is what you said about how 90s kids think that as soon as the clock struck midnight on the 1st January 2000, everything went to trash and got replaced by modern technology and smartphones. I think it's rubbish what they're thinking. The late 90s and early 2000s were barely any different. First of all, dial-up internet was still relevant in the early 2000s. I used to have it in my household back in the early 2000s and my parents used it and I used to get fascinated by the noise it made. I think it sounds like people trying to contact Martians in space. Fast internet didn't come out until the mid-2000s and I used it only when I was at primary school in ICT lessons. I started using the internet by myself when I was a preteen kid. As for social media, although that came out in the mid-2000s i.e. Myspace came out in 2003, Facebook came out in 2004, UA-cam came out in 2005 and Twitter came out in 2006, in my opinion they didn't hit their huge peak until the late 2000s and 2010s. The first ever Apple iPod Touch/iPhone came out in 2007 and as for the first ever Apple iPad, that came out in 2010. In my opinion, modern technology didn't start taking over people's lives until the late 2000s and 2010s.
Another thing that I massively agree with you about; now this thing ABSOLUTELY BURNS ME UP INSIDE ABOUT 90S KIDS; the thing that absolutely TICKS ME OFF SO FRIGGING MUCH ABOUT 90S KIDS THE MOST, SO MUCH SO THAT IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'M ABSOLUTELY BURNING UP MASSIVELY ANGRY INSIDE, is when they say that young people and kids today are stupid for not knowing what old pieces of technology are!!!
"Wah, wah, wah, how could kids today be so stupid for not knowing what this floppy disk or walkman is?! Wah, wah, they're so stupid!"
SERIOUSLY, THE FACT THAT 90S KIDS ARE WHINING AND COMPLAINING AND SAYING THAT KIDS TODAY ARE SO STUPID FOR NOT KNOWING WHAT OLD PIECES OF TECHNOLOGY ARE JUST BURNS ME UP INSIDE SO MUCH BECAUSE OF HOW UNTRUE IT IS WHAT THEY'RE SAYING!!! IT'S NOT A FRIGGING SURPRISE HOW KIDS REACT TO OLD TECHNOLOGY THESE DAYS, IT'S ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT SINCE THE BEGINNING!!!! SURELY 90S KIDS MUST HAVE DONE THE SAME THING WHEN THEY SAW OLD 50S, 60S AND 70S TECHNOLOGY WHEN THEY WERE KIDS!!!! 90S KIDS ARE LIVING IN THEIR SO-CALLED "LOVELY PARADISE NOSTALGIC 90S WORLD" AND CAN'T GET OUT OF IT SO MUCH THAT THEY'RE DOING ALL KINDS OF THINGS SUCH AS SAYING "ONLY 90S KIDS REMEMBER THIS", "KIDS TODAY ARE SO STUPID FOR NOT KNOWING WHAT A FLOPPY DISK OR A WALKMAN IS!" HECK, A WALKMAN ISN'T EVEN A 90S THING ANYWAY! I THINK IT'S ABSOLUTE RUBBISH WHAT 90S KIDS ARE SAYING! TO ADD TO THAT, THEY LOOK AT LOTS OF KIDS/TEENSREACT VIDEOS AND THINK THAT KIDS ON THAT ARE STUPID FOR NOT KNOWING WHAT THOSE OLD PIECES OF TECHNOLOGY ARE!!!! NOW THAT BURNS ME UP ANGRY INSIDE THE MOST!!!! 90S KIDS YOU DID THE SAME THING!!!! JUST ACCEPT THAT THE 90S ARE OVER WOULD YOU!!!!!!
Sorry for the long rant, but I really had to get that big amount of information out because that's one thing in particular that especially ticks me off about 90s kids.
I must warn you that there's this really annoying and creepy internet troll that you must look out for called Hunter Hellfire. He's the ABSOLUTE KING of annoying ageist 90s kids and he never has anything nice to say to younger generations; always saying ageist, hurtful comments to try and make them feel ashamed. It's obvious that he's an internet troll because he has no UA-cam videos, one of his pictures on his Google+ page is a picture of the KKK. He even put death threats on some videos.
I'm a 19 year old student currently doing an Animation and Illustration Course at university because I hopefully want to become maybe a children's book illustrator, or maybe a cartoonist for comic-strips or maybe an animator when I'm older.
+Michael Marston You're a wrong, butthurt, sad, lowlife, hypocritical trash talker, deal with it.
Michael Bivas He is a 2000's kid.
Michael Bivas
Actually, political correctness started earlier than you think; when the old, classic theatrical Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies animated cartoons and the old, classic theatrical Tom and Jerry animated cartoons were ported onto television back in the '60s, because of how they were being put in the children's slot on television back then, they had to be censored such as characters smoking, drinking, racist jokes, jokes that were considered too violent and things like that to make them more suitable for kids. The reason why they had this type of humour in them is because before they were ported onto television, they were shown at the theatres for general audiences before feature-length movies. Up to this day, that political correctness thing about them is still considered the case about them when they're aired on television.
I now honestly believe that the wannabe 90's kids who are teenagers and the "90's kids" bashing this video are actually the same people! A 90's kid is someone born from April 1, 1983-March 31, 1993 and I highly doubt that the REAL 90's kids even care about decades being 22-32 years old! At least not anymore! Heck! I'm 17 and I don't! And yes, just like spongebobfan190 said, he's happy he didn't grow up in the 60's. I agree with him for those reasons and plus, as my icon says, I like Russian girls and back then would've been a bad time to! Still a good video!
+Ben Arneson Thanks man. I'll be honest and admit I was once a wannabe 90's kid, ranting about this generation, saying it sucks, (I even once made a "this generation sucks" video, which I removed for obvious reasons), but I learned it's ridiculous and a waste of time, and that I was sucking up to a bunch of idiots that don't know what the hell they're saying.
+spongebobfan190 You're welcome and did you see my other comment that I made on this video ten months ago?
+Ben Arneson I just found it, and I agree that it's ironic that 90's kids complain about modern day stuff, and yet the stuff they complain about today was most likely made by other 90's kids, such as music and cartoons, not to mention Facebook itself was made by a 90's kid, and they complain about that.
+spongebobfan190 I know and I completely agree!
+spongebobfan190 yeah when I was 10 I said that
I was born in 1996. My memories of the late 90s are vague but a lot of things you mentioned are things that I remember.
Ed, Edd n Eddy first aired 1999 I know because I was 8 back then
Yagan Satour but it ran till 2009
in every old videos we can see these 90s kids
90s kids disliked this video
In the next decades and centuries the 90s will be forgotten and a distant memory.
You should just ignore what the 90s kids say. Their wrong and we all know it. So we don't have to get angry about it.
Yeah, I thought about what I said in the last video and realized no generation was perfect and there were always kids doing dumb things like drugs and having sex. And I learned it's not worth trying to live in a past I was barely around in. If anything, I think 90's kids spend more time online than kids nowadays bragging about their generation and making up lies about kids nowadays. I'm glad to know i'm not the only one who isn't a 90's kid, yet wanted to be one and sorta acted like one. They just need to get their heads into reality and accept the world for how it is now, and they have to realize no generation was ever perfect or superior to others, there was always violence, kids doing dumb things, and even in the 90's, i'm pretty sure there were bad tv shows that only lasted 1 season.
There no difference in the generations at all just improved technology and stuff. Im tired hearing about how great nintendo back in the day, there other companies that great too. No company is perfect not even Nintendo and their games, they get too much love, what about the other games like illusion of gaia, Sega games mostly playstation and Xbox ones too. Many people who put mario, zelda, pokemon, or any nintendo game are just close minded. Same for some game fans, there some open minded ones like myself. Plus I'm tired of seeing good scores for no reason, some good games got bad scores, that sucks.
It’s sad that this is still relevant in 2020
PastelFire 99 It seems to be people my age now doing this type of thing. The only thing I do is move forward and only reflect on ye goode olde days in moderation. Moderation is key.
This video is old, but sadly still relevant with not only 90s kids, but also with 00s kids now. I get sick and tired of these generation wars that happen all the time because it's pointless in the end. I also find it ironic that 90s kids think that everything fell apart in the 00s when so many trends from the 90s rolled over into the next decade; boy bands, nu metal, 3-D platformers, unhealthy sugary snacks, VHS, post-grunge, hell I remember using a phone line until 2010 because we could only have 2 flip phones in total for my family, and the iPhone was mad expensive. I'd even argue that the 90s and 00s had more in common than the 80s and 90s, but NOOOOOO. The 21st century completely sucks in the eyes of many 90s kids. (That's another thing that pisses me off; the defaulting to 80s and 90s, or early 00s made by these people). And like I said, it's sad to see 00s kids talking shit on 10s kids for not experiencing what we did as kids. Even though I have my problems with the 2010s and 2020 now, not everything from the past 10 years was bad. Every decade has its good and bad. The 50s and 60s had race problems, but they were able to push them back with Civil Rights, the 70s had questionable leadership, but had really good movies, the 80s had not so good rock music in my opinion and almost had a war with Russia, but also had good movies, 90s has Columbine and WTC bombings, but had great music and TV shows, 00s had 9/11 and Recession, but had awesome video games and music, 10s had bad music, but good technology, and even this year has sucked with a pandemic, but at least we all have time to reflect on ourselves, and assess the good and bad. In general, we shouldn't brag, and put down others just because we remember a time when someone wasn't even alive. To me this generation wars should stop, but unfortunately it probably won't
And yes, I typed a long ass comment because I can't sleep, and have nothing else better to do lol
I think it was Socrates who was recorded as saying that kids in his time were spoiled brats who had no respect for their elders and lacked work ethic. History repeats itself.
exactly
As a 10s kid, I’m sick of all the 90s and 00s “kids”. They keep bashing me & the rest of us 10s kids just because we grew up during the 10s. Like, it’s not my fault. It’s not my fault that my Parents didn’t give birth to me in the 90s or the 00s. They make me sick.
@@PastelFire99 Decades are a measurement of time, and specific measurements of time are merely human constructs anyway. There's a debate on what time actually is, but what we do know is that the universe is expanding, and everything is going on as it does. It's just the way we measure it that doesn't really matter.

+spongebobfan190 Basically, this is something I should have said a long time ago about 90s kids:
A decade is not what makes your life. Your life is what you make it.
Only sissies delete comments. Your generation can't handle constructive criticism l.
Hunter Hellfire Rubbish. I've handled a MASSIVE AMOUNT of constructive criticism in my Animation and Illustration Course at university, and because of me handling it, I've done VERY, VERY, VERY WELL in my Animation and Illustration Course at university and it's helped me do very well, and my tutors are very proud of me.
Hunter Hellfire Get lost, troll.
Hunter Hellfire Says the person who called somebody a racial slur when they insulted the decade you grew up as a kid in. It seems to me people like you are the ones who can't handle constructive criticism, because you all get pissy when somebody says the 90's weren't that good. I can't judge the 90's from experience, but 90's kids with common sense and people who were around back then like my parents tell me that the 90's were NOT that good, and you all need to grow up and accept change. You all go around and say that this generation sucks, but the truth is, people like you are part of the problem, because you can't let go and accept the past is over.

Comic books were bad in the 90's.
So many flame wars over something so dumb. The 90s weren't the best times to be alive. Bullying was alot more prevelant back that's so that's already a good reason to be living now. It's pretty dumb how arrogant 90s kids don't realize their bagging on their families generations and the younger siblings. It's really depressing to be honest.
+khalil walker It seems to only be the ones on the internet that act like that though. 90's kids in real life actually do something with their lives and don't shove their nostalgia down our throats, telling kids today what they like is crap and what they liked as kids was good. I actually saw a video called "Are kids today stupid", and the guy said that he experienced the 90's himself and he doesn't think kids today are stupid for liking what they like, and agreed that the 90's were no different than today. What kids like today that 90's kids say is crap is comparable to what they liked as kids themselves, and older generations would look at what kids in the 90's liked, and call it crap. He even gave an example of the soundtrack from the first Pokemon movie, where he said he listened to it for hours when he was a kid, his older cousin listened to it, and told him it was horrible, and since he was a kid at the time, he didn't think much of it. That was until he said that he recently listened to the same soundtrack, and agreed that it did suck since he was older. And he pointed out that music kids listened to back then wasn't any better than what kids listen to today.
+khalil walker And also, I don't think there's a better or worst decade to grow up as a kid in, since we had no control over when we were born. And dates are just measurements of time we created to keep ourselves on track with what we do, so I don't see how you can be special over a measurement.
spongebobfan190 Also, as you go through puberty your brain starts to think more abstractly and becomes more mature. That means when see kiddie stuff as an adult you can really tell if it's actually good or bad.
But at the same time some people say shows suck when their 30 years old and not the demographic the shows are aiming for.
It's ashame that people can't move on in their lives and try and find good hobbies or shows that they actually like instead of bashing every new cartoon that happens to come out.
spongebobfan190 Plus, their are too many opinions on cutoff dates to make an accurate one.
But I agree that the kids had no control over what content was in their generation or when they were born.
Most of the time when people are coming up with cutoff dates they try and save themselves claiming that anyone born after them aren't whatever decades kid.
Also, people get way to deep into it with early, mid and late borns then what generation they belong to and they start measuring who's at the cusp of generation y/z. It's ridiculous how bad people wanna fit in these days.
khalil walker The first paragraph, I can relate to something like that; my sister and I use to watch Zoey 101 when we were younger, and my mom use to tell us she thought the lead actress, Jamie Lynn Spears, was a horrible actress, but since we were kids, we didn't care and continued to watch it anyway. When we got older, I caught a glimpse of an episode airing on TeenNick, and I realized that she is, in fact, a horrible actress, even my sister agreed too. But since we were kids when we watch that show, we didn't see it. Which is similar to that guy's story I told you about. These 90's kids should seriously consider watching their childhood shows themselves, and see if they enjoyed them as much as they did when they were kids.

By the way, this is something that I have thought about! :) :D ;) This is something that will REALLY make 90s kids sit down! :) :D ;) Voice actor Mel Blanc, nicknamed "The Man Of One Thousand Voices" is considered the greatest, most talented and most legendary voice actor that ever lived on the planet Earth! :) :D ;) I am not joking, I am being serious! :) :D ;) He was born in 1908 and died in 1989! :) :D ;) Therefore, all of the generations that lived on Earth before 90s kids could have met him, meaning that 80s kids were the last generation to be able to meet Mel Blanc, but 90s kids could not have been able to meet him! This is a true fact you know! This also proves that the 90s was not the best decade! Maybe Mel Blanc tried to avoid the 90s so that he could not have to be with 90s kids and so that he could not have to give his talents to 90s kids, who would have used it to talk trash about other generations and feel special.

Sorry that I keep commenting so much on this video. There's just too much to say about this video because of how true it is and how much I agree fully with it. Another thing that I agree with about this video is what you said about how 90s kids take things that were barely in the 90s and things that weren't even in the 90s and then they say "only 90s kids remember this". I think that's bloomin' ridiculous. It's as if they're so obsessed with the 90s that they even take things that weren't in the 90s and make it a 90s thing and then they say "only 90s kids remember this". They even do it with things that were way before the 90s. There's an article that I read where it's complaining about how 90s kids take things that weren't even in the 90s and make it a 90s thing. For example, there's a screenshot from one of Chuck Jones' Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons from Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies and then it said on it:
"The 90s. You didn't need to tell kids not to try this s*** at home. They weren't complete retards back then".
Seriously, I find that so stupid when they do that and I find that sentence ABSOLUTE GARBAGE because first of all, Chuck Jones created Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner in the late 40s and also, there have ALWAYS BEEN STUPID IDIOTS IN THE WORLD. THE INTERNET AND MODERN TECHNOLOGY JUST MAKES IT EASIER TO SEE. DON'T THEY EVEN KNOW THAT BY NOW?! Here's the article by the way:
www.collegehumor.com/post/6882367/10-things-that-arent-from-the-90s-you-idiots
Michael Robinson I don't mind. You can comment your thoughts here as much as you like. And I just saw that article, the one that I thought was the stupidest was the Walkman one, because like it said, the Walkman came out in 1979, and not all old technology originated in the 90's. And I highly doubt any kid got a Walkman back then, if they did, it was probably a hand me down from one of their parents who bought a portable CD player, or like it said, it wasn't in the 90's at all. Basically the Walkman was the iPod of the late 70's-80's, and I would imagine it was becoming obsolete by the 90's when CDs hit the market, and the portable CD player.
Another one I thought was stupid was the one where it showed the coil cord phone and it says "You are a 90's kid if this irritates you", I'm pretty sure ADULTS used those kind of phones too, and they still exist today.
As for the Wile E. Coyote picture, which you already addressed your thoughts on, I just have one word to prove that picture wrong: Columbine. So in conclusion, 90's kids are morons who can't get out of their nostalgia bubble, and think their childhood decade is superior to every other decade. They also think they're entitled to everything from the 20th century, when the truth is, they grew up at the END of the 20th century.
spongebobfan190 I agree fully about what you said about how they think their decade is superior to every other decade. Their decade can't be the best, because how could their decade be the very best if the adults in that decade had to get inspiration from entertainment such as TV shows, movies, books etc that were in much older decades? This is another thing that they don't understand. This is a problem that the annoying internet troll Hunter Hellfire has; him and 90s kids don't know that the adults in that decade had to get inspiration from entertainment that was in much older decades. Here is a piece of information I'm going to mention to prove that their decade wasn't the best because of how adults in that decade had to get inspiration from entertainment in much older decades:
I might have mentioned about this era of animation in the comments section of this video before, but there's a particular era of animation known as The Golden Age Of American Animation, and it was an era of animation when Disney, Warner Brothers, MGM, Universal's Walter Lantz Studios, Fleischer Studios and many more animation studios (the first three studios I mentioned are considered the best) were rivalling massively against each other to make what I consider the greatest theatrical cartoons and animation and overall the best animation on the planet Earth. It's my absolute favourite era of animation and in my opinion, no animation era will ever beat it. The era started in 1928 with Walt Disney's "Steamboat Willie" and ended in the late 60s when children's television animation started taking over massively. Seriously though, it's a true fact that those old Disney, Warner Brothers and MGM cartoons are considered the greatest and most legendary cartoons and animation on the planet Earth. Legendary cartoon characters from that legendary era of animation include Mickey Mouse and his friends, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tom and Jerry, Droopy, Little Red Hot Riding Hood, Woody Woodpecker, Betty Boop, Popeye and many more. These cartoons and animation played at the theatres as short films before feature-length movies and were aimed at the general public in the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s (ahhh, the good old days when animation wasn't considered kids' stuff yet and so no one would judge you for liking cartoons and animation). These cartoons and animation are what inspired cartoons and animation in the decades after it, including the ones in the 90s. Seriously, without the Golden Age Of American Animation (1928 to the late 60s), pretty much no good cartoons and animation would exist you know. Animation legends during that legendary era of animation such as Walt Disney (who started it all off with Mickey Mouse and his friends), Chuck Jones (my favourite and creator and director of Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, Marvin the Martian, Pepe Le Pew and many more WB characters), William Hanna and Joseph Barbera (creators and directors of Tom and Jerry and actually later went to establish Hanna-Barbera Productions in the 60s), Tex Avery (creator and director of the very first Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck cartoons and creator and director of Droopy and Little Red Hot Riding Hood), Walter Lantz (producer of Woody Woodpecker), Max Fleischer (producer of Betty Boop and Popeye) and many more animation legends during that era are what adults in the decades after the 60s got inspiration from. In other words, The Golden Age Of American Animation is the reason why television cartoons in the decades after the 60s actually exist and it's the reason why 90s cartoons exist as well. No good cartoons and animation would exist if it wasn't for The Golden Age Of American Animation.
And to add to that, in that list of things that are not from the 90s, I actually used to have some of those things in my household when I was younger, I know what Walkmans are, I absolutely know what portable CD players are (I've got one) and I know what those coil phones are because my parents used to have one in the house when I was younger. I used to also have dial-up internet in the house when I was younger and I used to get fascinated by the noise it made.
Another thing in your video that I agree fully with is how 90s kids think young people today are stupid for not knowing what old technology is. I'm not stupid at all. If I was stupid, then I wouldn't have explained the history of animation just now. I also wouldn't know many things if I was stupid. There would be something wrong with my brain otherwise. I'm also so fed up with 90s kids overall looking down on younger generations and being ageist to them and not giving them a chance. 90s kids act like they're winning an Oscar award for growing up in the 90s and act like they're the very best people in the world.
I think it's pretty obvious that in your last video (rant on current generation) you kinda wanted to be a 90's kid yourself. You probably saw how 90's kids were bragging about their generation on the Internet. Don't worry though, I went though the same thing. In was born in '99 and I used to want to be a '90s kid. I used to think that shows from the last generation were better and that everything should be how it was in the 90s. However I have learned that NO generation is better that the others. And all that matters is what's happening now. Also in a couple years the 2000s kids are going to be bragging about how their generation is better. Anyways I'm glad to know you've changed.
(P.S. I wrote this comment before I watched the video. So if I said anything that you already do I'm sorry)
