Lakeland Wildlife Oasis

Oasis is a small zoo but it has grown since I first visited years ago. In the Tropical Area are butterflies flying around and Leaf-cutting Ants that are interesting to watch as they work. Fruit Bats hang overhead and there are other small bird and reptiles. Walking the outside area there are animals like the Degu, Long-nosed Potoro and Meerkats. Further on are other creatures including two beautiful Snow Leopards. There are Cranes Whistling Ducks and other Birds. I loved the tiny Harvest Mice and could have watched them for much longer if I had the time.
