- Have about 3 grams of scrap yarn? I have an easy little scrap yarn crochet project to share with you. Grab your hook and crochet together with me this beginner-friendly dandelion-inspired flower bookmark for your favorite books.
This bookmark is easy to use and is reversible.
What I used:
Yarn: Size 3, light worsted weight (DK) 8 ply 100% cotton (3g used)
Hook size: 3.00mm
Basic skills required for this project (US terms used):
- chain stitches
- slip stitch
- double crochet

Can I use 4 weight yarn for this book mark ? I would like to use Caron simply soft !
Your finished bookmark will be a little bit thicker with weight 4 yarn, but if that's not an issue for you, then yes absolutely! In fact, I think it would look nice with your yarn. My suggestion is to use a hook one size smaller than recommended on the label. Please do give it a try :)
