people actually complained about the sound effects? they were so funny!!!!
I'm always encouraged by people from other countries... Especially when I was a college student in US in 90's, my friends taught me a positive sense of worth. Haha I just recalled those days....
Thank you so much guys! I'll see you in the next video again!
Anyone who complained about the noise obviously isn't a true fan. Js.
This whole video was one funny thing after another but the "Unidentified Frying Objects" bit at the end got me. That was great.
We made it tonight and OMG !!! So tasty so yuuuuuummyyyyy !!! And this sauce !! We used beef broth instead od dashi and watercress instead of mitsuba. Thank you so much for your recipes !
Dude, this was jokes. Words cannot express how much I love these videos...
I just made kakiage and it turned out incredible!!!! I loved it. I love Japanese food!!!! thank you for sharing the recipe.
i love the sound effects! it wouldn't be runnyrunny without them. don't stop!!
You are amazing sir! Watching your videos has gotten me in the kitchen and enjoying cooking! Thank you and I especially love Japanese food so that just makes it so much better!
I love when you do funny and discontracted episodes like that. Good Job Runny!
Oh wow, that egg spray is genius. My mind is blown!! Also the sound effects made me laugh. :D Thank you runnyrunny!!
こちらこそ!Thanks for ordering and good luck in your university life!
I love it.It's delicious and easy to do it.
My mom always packed me kakiage for my lunch box.
in my opinion the sound effect is what makes watching this more enjoyable.. just keep doing it whatever you like runnyrunny its your show. :)
your videos are funny and that the same time entertaining and you learn things.. also makes you hungry haha. love it.
Spray gun is an awesome idea. I was always having too thick of the egg batter. Thanks for the great tip!
The sound effects you use are so great. They always make me smile :)
I like the sound effect, runny runny! please keep it up!!!
I only found your channel yesterday but I'm already in love with all your videos! They're so funny and informative! :) Keep up the good work!
Please don't change the way you make your video's, they are fun as well as informative, and is the reason my daughter and I subscribed to your channel! :D
Hi runnyrunny, your videos inspire me to cook japanese food, even if they are very complex and long. I appreciate your vids and don't mind the sound effects. What matters is the final product. Cheers!!
Ah you noticed it! haha yes I used tiger shrimp as well. Actually I did film this twice lol
I love these cooking videos you do, even tho I suck at cooking myself, can barely make a normal meal for myself, thanks for making my weeks with these videos :)
Very nice video. I like your sense of humor. Thanks
I love all the sounds and effects you add to the video they make me laugh xD
Recipy looks delicious, made me hungry, and inspired me to make a good dinner tonight.
Greetings from Spain!!
I love the sounds effects!!!! keeps it interesting!!!! good job!!! i love your show i have learned a lot from you!!
In America, fart jokes are funny due to how they often come at an inappropriate time & place. It's something so simple yet there's tons of comedic possibilities w/ it.
So being a weird American, I was dying when you de-veined the shrimp. But I totally understand where you're coming from. Japanese humor is miles different from American humor.
I thought it was funny though! XD
I watch a lot of cooking videos here on UA-cam, but only runnyrunny999's videos will makes me feel extremely hungry!
you have very good knife skills, runny-san.
This looks absolutely delicious, definitely going to try it out! Thanks Taro-san
I liked the sound effects of the sprayer, it was funny sounding , and at the very end was hilarious. LOL! Thanks Runny.
Your videos always cheer me up and make my days brighter Runny. ^ ^
I really like shrimps, and this looks delicious!
you are back to cooking dishes yeahy !!! this actually one of the thing that I look forward which is watching u cook ur dishes :)
I love your english accent. Especially when you say Thank you for Ordering. SO cute. Great videos by the way.
dude, i love fart sounds! smelling them is another thing but nothing makes me smile like some good 'ol fart sounds!
The sound effect is the best part of the video (since we can't eat)!
Runny san, your technique is Mekara Uroko. I could never make Kakiage crispy without too much dough in the past. Mine was always doughy and not very tasty. I will definitely try your technique next time on. Arigatou!! I love tempura in any form.
Another great video!! Don't change any of the noises D:!! I adore that you take the time to add them :)
People need to lighten up.
This was both funny and a great recipe.
Thank you very much for sharing it with us!
I always look forward to your videos, they make me laugh (and hungry).
I like the sound fx when you're removing shrimp's waste lol
I like that a lot of your recipes are gluten free.
I'm surprised people actually got offended by the fart noises
I thought it was adorably silly. I love runny because he makes his videos fun!
way better than those boring instructional videos...
Ahaha, this was a fantastic video. The sound effects put it on another level. bravo. :D
How could anyone not like this?!?! Kakiage is freaking AMAZING!!!!!
No no no Runny -3 it was not too much!!!!! Do what you want!!! It is absolutely eggcellemt, subarashi, hilarious creative and original!!!!
The sounds effects made me laugh very hard! Thank you Runnyrunny, it made my night very jovial!
I was thinking the exact same thing. If they didn't like it or laugh at it, then Runnyrunny is just too cool for them.
omg this i definately i have to try looks so delicious!!
This looks good, and kind of easy to make! Maybe I'll try it but with squid since I'm allergic to shrimp.
Don't worry so much about it, we all subscribed to your videos because we like them as they are. You have a great sense of humor. Just do you! :)
thanks for the video, I was researching a little bit about this and now got some ideas to make my Indonesian twist of it
Oh my so delicious. It'd be fun to see how an egg flower soup would turn out if you used the mister to add the egg.
Thanks for another fun cooking vid. I laughed so hard during the preparation of the egg-magnum! Runny-san kawaii ~~~ :)))
I absolutely love your sense of humor Runny-san, please don't feel as though you have to change for the few negative opinions :)
Keep up the great work :D !
Your videos always make me smile :] now I just need to actually cook this stuff!
you're my hero Runny
i don't know about anyone else, but i watch cooking videos to relax. i like reading the comments section afterwards to see the compliments, constructive criticism, or suggestions people have left. the fact is, opinions are like assholes... everyone has one. i know there are some dedicated Runny fans out there, but c'mon guys. senses of humor vary for different people. Runny has a playful sense of humor, and if there are people who don't approve of it then that's cool for them.
I made the food, it was really delicious, but i mixd everything with the egg instead of spraying it. It was very delicious
Man you are so funny. I love watching your videos. Your cooking tehcnique is simple and clear. I've tried so many of them: hambaga, ebu furai, okonomiyaki, gyu and katsu don. My hubby LooOved it (he's Japanese, he said my cook taste fine). Keep posting recipes! Regards from Jakarta!
caitlyn fuku do you know where to buy okonomiyaki sauce in jakarta?
I have uploaded homemade recipe. ua-cam.com/video/gX8wPNYsMJE/v-deo.html
I love it dude, Just been marathoning this guys videos.
Hahahahahaha!! "I just wanted to make fun of the shrimp!" Poor shrimp.. But it's good to remove all that S**T from the shrimp, and even better if you do it in a funny way"!! XD
thanks ur sharing from tibet
bellissimo questo piatto ... domani ci provo anch'io ... grazie per la ricetta.
Don't be in a slump, Runny-san! That was one of the best videos of your I've seen in a long time! 本当に面白かったよ!いつもみんなのためにいいビデオを作ってくれてありがとう。Be proud of yourself, you make a lot of people happy. :)
Those sound effects were nice!
Only japanese spray eggs and have time to cook like this so detail thats why i love japanese go ultraman lolol
The sound effects were a very nice addition :D
don't worry about those people who are offended. people will always be offended by something. the sound effect was silly, it could have been worse. i love your sense of humor and your videos. keep doing what you're doing!
Too complicated? Don't worry, if you are not that picky, all of them will work ok on my recipe where I use them. When I mention mirin in my video, most of time I just use mirin-type or mirin- flavored.
Some of real mirin (本みりん) can be drunk itself like you enjoy sake. But mirin- type & mirin-flavored are usually considered as only for cooking. I'm not sure about their color difference though... but I think real mirin has darker color than others. Hope this help.
I love kakiage and sweet sauce
if i were you, i would add taro strips as well. my mom does something like this, and the taro gives it such a good flavor!
That was funny sounds! you have to put them in all your vids runny! :)
this looks so delicious i gotta try make it! really have to!
i thought the sound effect was funny it give it not so much of a boring atmosphere ya'know? btw it looks really good!
Thank you RunnyRunny for an another awesome video, I love when you use the last minutes talking, and those unexpected things happens like words and stuff ^__^ It makes me smile. In Denmark people would probably use shrimp or maybe thin strips of ham, many Danes don't like squid to much ^__^ Thank you for an awesome and funny video.
I love shrimp! Squid is good too... Shrimp is probably more available where I live though.
Also, what is mirin? I can tell it's a kind of alcohol but is it like wine or vodka? Anything similar to replace it with?
How is this on your "videos frowned on by viewers" playlist?!
i LOVE this dish! and the video is so runny ^^
when you drizzled the kakiage sauce on the rice my jaw dropped. i just LOVEE japanese rice. and, the kakiage.. omg looks too gooood! :D
shrimp have two digestive tracts there is one on the other side of the shrimp and sometimes that one has more crap in it than the one on the back.
About the spray of egg - - what did they do before they had sprayer gizmoes? Just brush on a dab and toss?
Nice headpiece
OMG THAT LOOKS SOOOOOOOO GOOD!
this looks soooo good, i would love to try it!
like your videos! you are so funny and honest! support!
I love this video, it was really entertaining and I also learned how to make kakiage-don~
Also I don't really find any of the sounds you use in the video annoying, just entertaining. And genius way to deveined the shrimps, after watching your video I also deveined mine like that, much easier.
I love your recipes! You make stuff easy for us on the other side of the pond. I have a question for you though about mitsuba leaf. I have never seen it for sale where I live. Do you know if it is related to cilantro (coriander to Brits)-- it kind of looks like it?, but so does flat leaf parsley, which is not remotely similar.
The one that I used in this video was actually not real mirin. It's mirin-type liquid (みりんタイプ) which has around 10% alcohol. But real mirin (本みりん) has around 15 % alcohol (almost the same alcohol content as sake). And still there are one more liquid called '' mirin-flavored ''(みりん風味) which has 1 % alcohol.
Those veggie+shrimp fritters remind me a little of the Filipino ukoy (or "okoy") that my parents like making. The batter is thicker, and the fritters consist of bean sprout or squash. (My parents prefer squash, and Mom even adds string beans when she makes it.) We also don't cut up the shrimp--Mom even puts them in the fritters whole, with the head and shell on. We dip the ukoy into white vinegar with minced garlic, salt and pepper mixed in.
this looks so awesome. how long does it take you to make the whole dish?
Look yummy, make me hungry
i havnt made this in months, will make this week
fry until they are Gordon Brown? lol
love the video. the dish looks delicious n you're so funny as well x
Hey I really liked this recipe! I want to try it out very soon, but the big HUGE problem I had is that I dont like fish...or shrimps in this case...my question is...Can I do this with chiken?
So good! Thanks Runny!!!
I love your sound effects. They are hilarious. :D
Runny, I think you did fine, I love your videos and I hope to see more. I'm glad you're not paying attention to all the negative comments. :)
Yes I love this Japan dish too!!! One of my favourite I mean
Loved all of the sound effects :)
I runny. Did you use flour or potato starch ? Its look like potato starch though .....
