Thank you Lydia, I loved that video. I mean handbags are every women's favourite purchase, yet who hasn't bought a bag that was too small or too big or one that just wouldn't stay on the shoulder? And with the the current 90's trend for under arm bags it is so important to to try on. I love the way you refer to WEARING your bag. So many women think that you wear clothes but carry a bag! I WEAR my bags and I wear them with style just as you do, but you have a platform to educate from, so keep it up you are helping so may girls to develop their own style. I gave up obsessively reading fashion magazines and trying to follow trends years ago, but appreciate your keeping me up to date! I checked out the Net-a-Porter site after you mentioned it, and noticed you had incorporated some of their “must haves” into your group of basics. Much appreciated assistance in keeping this woman of a certain age from looking hopelessly outmoded.
Lydia, have you done a bag collection video? I know you are More focused on teaching fashion, which I really love and watch a lot, but I suppose I’m curious what bags such a fashionable person has. I like the polene bags but the more videos I see the more bags pop up. Plus I’d love to see some videos about matching belts bags and shoes. Do you have any under the radar bags?

Can you do a video about styling Fancy suit jackets more casually? I have a closet full of beautiful dressier jackets (draping/peplums silk, etc) that I used to wear for work every day as part of a suit but now I’m in jeans at working home most of the time. Or just how to wear fancy suits more casually. I followed your advice on some of my basic suits by adding belts , sneakers and rolling the sleeves and it worked like a charm. But somehow my more draped jackets are too fancy for the casual look. Before watching you I basically wore suits to work and sweatpants after work. I now have learned to look good in casual clothing. It’s really fun.
As the coats so heavy and bulky a nice structured crossbody would ground look. Rather than all puffy like the YSL sac de jour crossbody or polene seven bag xx
I love crossbody bags, but I've built a good selection of shapes, sizes and colours. Now, I only do one in one out policy when buying a new bag, as I already have enough bags for my storage space.

Hello Lydia, like your episodes and your good explanations on how to style and on what to think about before investing in a good quality bag. But as a vegeterian I would really apreciate if you could also show handbags and shoes in very good quality but in faux leather because it's difficult to find fabrics in a really good faux leather that doesn't look like "plastic" and cheap. Thanks in advance.

Love the Loewe Bag Lydia. How do you organise your items in that though? I can see I could lose half of my belongings with one drop! I have been looking at basket bags and being in London and travelling on the tube does not provide much security!? 🧐
@@snehatitus8994 Yes completely get that! As I mentioned, if it's for the airport then I put a bag (or two) inside the bag and keep all my documents in those! Then I usually have a scarf on top to protect it all! x
What would you consider to be a reasonable cost per wear? I hear it referenced a lot but I am yet to get anyone to commit to a figure. I am interested to know.
