Some people get weird when they date those with dogs, wanting the dog owner to pay them, the romantic partner, more attention and sometimes only them instead of this animal that the other person chose to take care of.

"Does he look the way I want?" aka attractive, "Does he think and act the way I want? aka not a b*tch and is a good housewife, and "is he currently in a situation where he isn't a burden to me", which is valid. If he were as specific as she was being in making her list, I'm positive his list would have far passed 50.
