@@globe0147 after Australia adopted its modern anthem in the 80s the lyrics used were ‘We are young and free’ considering Australia’s colonies were only formed to together to make Australia in 1901, in 2021 a couple decades later they changed it to ‘We are one and free’ because of the aboriginals in Australia complaints about that fact that humans have inhabited Australia for centuries.
As a Canadian I am all for CANZUK BUT there is a problem ! We are all English speaking countries with the Parliamentary System , BUT Quebec has the Norman Law System . They will have many " demands " on the Anglophones , and insist on their ways . Quebec could be a major problem C A McLean

Recently a year or two ago people took the young and free line not to mean that Australia itself is young, only being around since 1901, but rather meaning that people have been living there only recently and about colonisation and aboriginals and such, so it changed to one and free.
