Being born in Green Bay, and then watching him win a superbowl as a kid, I loved watching how Brett played football and the leadership he showed. I even cheered for him to win in MN the two years he was there.. this man is what you want in a role model.

I often wondered just how my life would have been if I had a father to guide me. But since he abandoned me within 6 months of my existence, I guess he is the loser here. I really love Brett Favre. I always have. It always makes me a little sad to hear him talk about his dad though. Now it seems like a completely different world & a lifetime ago for which not even NFL football itself, holds the same amount of weight. But just a few decades ago, when life was still so much simpler & society actually enjoyed each other’s company, what Brett Favre meant to us cheeseheads was nothing short of a secondary god in some sorts.
