Spyro is already teetering on the edge of maybe never getting another game, and Crash's fan base is heavily Playstation based. It's sad, but they are likely gone for good this time.
crash and spyro wasn’t exclusive anymore when crash bandicoot wrath of cortex came out and spyro a heroes tail so basically sony killed off crash and spyro i feel like microsoft will make it popular again if they tell activision to make crash twinsanity and i also think there games wont be xbox exclusive
@@spooktaculeryt2169 If what Phil said was true, anything that existed before the buyout will stay multiplatform like CoD and Overwatch but anything new will be exclusive to Xbox/PC
@@hwanniggles187 Will be beatiful to watch MS make $ out of a Character that came out on Sony. Now Sony has to comply.
@@hwanniggles187 They said about Bethesda games as well, that translated into old games staying multiplats and the new stuff being Xbox/PC only that aren't tied to legal contracts
Was initially back when I thought they're Playstation mascots.
You mean went from Playstation to Warzone support staff, right?
just FYI, but cartridges were never printed... ;)
Universal poorly managed crash and spyro they were known for treating naughty dog and insomniac terrible while the two legendary developers still had contracts to make the first three games in the trilogies for sony PlayStation
Universal then went bankrupt with crash and spyro for rushing the games with poor management and treating there workers badily
activision then got the rights to crash and spyro but did nothing noteworthy till the 20th anniversary titles for crash and spyro which was promising for the franchises being close to the glory days but activision soon got greedy and messed up by adding micro transactions into the crash team racing remake and was too cheap to give the spyro anniversry title a second disc leaving spyro 2 and 3 unplayable unless you have internet access
Thus activision went bankrupt probably for milking the call of duty franchise and more than likely treated there workers poorly crash 4 sold bad probably because of the high asking price and it being too different from what the fans actually wanted.
I agree with all you said….except activision did not buy universal lol. They just bought the rights to crash and spyro
@@promiseomiponle810 that honestly makes more sense I always wondered if universal had more gaming properties than crash and spyro?
Thanks for clearing that up I fixed my original comment.
@@jam9852 also Activision bankrupt? Idk if you just stupid or not aware but Activision makes a shit ton of money through Call of Duty, Overwatch and World of Warcraft
Crash 4 did not sell bad , we finally had confirmation from Activision themselves that it actually sold pretty well .
Hope MS helps those Franchises
@37:26 Thats controversial?!? You people are tripping.
Ironic that the title of this video mentions Xbox and Crash has 4 exclusives for Nintendo console at the same time...
It's sony fault they never buying crash and Spyro from Activision in 2013 and they losing very strong game's what ever Microsoft still better than Activision
Crash 4 iat is not a faithful follow up to crash 3. If you look at the parallels between wrath of cortex and crash its about time you'll see tfb basically copied ideas from wrath. Its wrath of cortex but with prettier graphics.
