That came out so cute!! When you showed what size your failed project came out I thought oh! Cut out some gussets to change the size and then use those pieces for your new bag! But then you used the failed project for the bottom and that made a lot of sense to make a sturdy bag. Never crossed my mind but made a lot of sense! I hope you get a lot of use out of your new scrappy and super cute bag!
What a fun idea! And yours turned out great! I admit, I usually just trash my swatches *shame on me* but now you've inspired me to hang on to them and give them new life!
Great idea! I hord my swatches and plan to unravel some of them and add to my scrappy blanket, but maybe for swatches in not blankety type yarn such as cotton or some other summer blend, I could do something like that. Or maybe unravel them into a scrap ball and then knit project bag with crochet botton to give it more structure
I watched your video cutting a felted bag I think you could use the felted bag for hands and feet for some of Arthur's toys It looks like fur so it would be perfect My dads name was Arthur too😁
I have to admit I HATE swatching. 🫣 I get so excited to make a project, and I just hate spending the time and wasting the yarn to swatch and wash and block before I even start. But this idea of using your swatches to up cycle a little bag is kind of brilliant! Definitely increased my motivation to swatch before my next projects.
Beautiful and very talented and very brave you are and I enjoy watching your Bethany and I always will this is Mona 67 in clintonville Wisconsin you did great thank you and God bless you and your husband and your new baby I love you all alone I said shalom

Beautiful! I love this idea!
So great!
love this little franken bag, x
So cool! Thanks for the inspiring idea❤
The new bag is fantastic
Super cute, love the idea!
One thing I recently learned about felting is that it mostly shrinks heightwise, not so much widthwise - might be good to know for a future project :)
That is adorable!!!!
Super cute!
This is such a lovely idea, and will always create a unique project 🤩

Very cute! And I love the baby noises and little feet…❤️
Your bag turned out very cute.
You can cut the bag down to size sew it and it will be wonderful!
Please say you are going to make another project bag out of the remaining fabric of your tote bag project. The fabric looks so nice.
Your bag turned out amazing!!! I was hoping you would do the tutorial!!!
I watched your video cutting a felted bag

I like your little bag, great idea. You could use more of the failed one to make another smaller one.
Idon't have enough swatches to make this because I'm guilty of not swatching but this is a very cute idea...
i love this idea, never seen something like this and yours looks so lovely💜 definitely i'm gonna make one 🤩

I clicked on the video because of the beige bag. 😅
I like it. 😊
Please share more details: What yarn did you use. How did you do the edge?

I wonder if you could make a little pillow with the remainder of the felted bag
You could have made a bag out of the one you first made. The gauge bag came out cute tho.
Could you turn the felted bucket tote inside out and seam the sides and cut off the excess?
Probably! I think it would’ve been too intense on my fingers though, the fabric is really thick
I would sew and cut off the excess of the felted bag to the shape you wanted
Ope nevermind 😂😂😂
Why didn't she sort out the bag by trimming it down, cutting out the base again and sewing it up ? Such a shame, everything was there to save it.😢
Fabric was too thick! Would’ve killed my hands
