- In this video you can drive along on the Autobahn A6 and Dálnice D5 E50 (Via Carpathia) from Amberg in Bayern to Rozvadov just across the border in Czechia.
The A6 is a West-East corridor in Germany, connecting Saarbrücken in the West with the Czech border in the east. It's part of European route E50. From Amberg, East of Nürnberg, the Autobahn takes travellers through a versatile landscape.

The motorway from Amberg to the Czech border is one of the few motorways I haven't been in Bavaria, was very nice to see it, would also try to clinch it this year, on the way to Prag. Thanks for the video, greetings from a roadtripper from Germany!

@@nielsontheroad yes, have to do it, haven't been to Czech Republic since I moved to Bavaria 7 years ago. As I lived in Dresden, I used to travel a lot there, would like to turn back to Prag this year, the zoological garden will definetely be a highlight for my 4-years old daughter :)
While the landscape is quite nice, this must be one of the most boring stretches of autobahn unless you are a treehugging lover of different breeds of trees 😜😇😎
It has some hills and curves ;) For the daredevils most of it has no speed limit and there are barely any Baustellen :)
