Pro tip, a good use for dryer lint and old candles is to take the lint, put it in a non styrofoam egg carton and fill it with melted candle wax, the egg spaces apart and you can use that as the base tinder for fires.
I really like gear showcase/review and I find them to be really instructive. Most people don't know how to tell quality survival gear from cheap brands that are just there to cash in. These kinds of videos help educate preppers in the making, saving them from bad purchases. On a personal note, I also like those budged kit assembly challenges you make from time to time and would love to see that expanded to help preppers on a budget. It would be really cool if you could showcase a range of bugout bags (using gear you already have) to show people how to properly assemble a kit from 100 dollars to doomsday prepper levels of money.
A little tip I learned long ago. If you're going to keep a baseball bat in your vehicle for protection you should have a couple baseball mitts and a baseball. Just to protect yourself legally.
I love these types of videos from you guys. They're probably my top 3 favorite type of videos from the channel. I usually always hit a few of the links and pick up some of the stuff I dont have.
Great info as always. A short bat would be useless I’d imagine. Pepper spray would be smaller, weigh less, and much more useful. Carrying concealed is the obvious solution to most problems, add a nice light and you’re even better off. Love that you’re thinking defensive though not everyone does
I have had 3 hydro blu Clear Flows, Ive used them for just an EDC water bottle and they work great! Ive also used them from time to time in the bush and they work fine there to... EXCEPT the second one I bought had a bad leaking problems so, I bought another one.. and it doesn't leak Leaving it up to you if you want to take the gamble
I love these type of vids shows us a lot of goodies we can get for a reasonable price and it helps repeat somethings u have for your prepps can’t go wrong with that lol
the Energizer headlamps are by far the best budget headlamps i've used. extremely cheap for the features it has and how well made they are (they all seem to be on clearance at walmarts right now)
I really liked the information you gave on this vid. Even down to the base ball bat. I carry concealed, and a base ball bat would be a good second personal protection. I had not thought of that one. Keep up the good work
That family pack of grills i would use twist ties instead of split ring, but you might have to replace then. And Obviously the paper would burn off the tie
Yay, just bought the 30L backpack of that type (for long wild hikes, I use the 80L, but it's too big for short hikes, as I'm only 5ft2.), and glad you like the performance.
Yeah your videos are insightful and they do help that helps people that don't have a lot of money so don't ever think you ain't doing good with these because you are excellent with your videos thank you for your help we appreciate you
Well sadly missed the live due to being stuck at work until 7pm. Pretty sweet gear list for under 30$ i can attest to the durability of the speed sinch stakes, i have hard clay soilinmy yard and they go in with relative ease with little to no external damage to the stakes. Another great video Bud.
These are great videos because of all the great quality products for great prices. I’ve also used a few of these and can definitely verify the quality and reliability of them, especially the Procamptek and of course the 4DB gear!! Thank you DFS for these excellent recommendations!!
Great video! Where do I find that water filter bottle? I don't recognize the brand. I want that little Leatherman too,! Actually there are many things you showed I would like! Good job!
Wish I was able to drive stakes in the ground where I’m at in Texas......hell anything for that matter. It’s solid rock everywhere I live, we have about 5 inches of dirt before you hit solid rock.
Depends what i was trying to do with steaks yes its possible to steak or ancor into solid rock granted in your area id be tempted by 3/8 x12 land scapeing spikes and a 4lbs shop hammer. Worst case id have to dig and use a star drill first
You should've shown those small LED usb sticks. They're about the size of a long usb and they're as bright as the brightest lanterns and they're perfect for turning a powerbank into a floodlight. And they're basically a dime a dozen..

Sadly these take time for new and innovative tech and camping gear to come to market. We definitely host them as soon as we have some serious gems to create a sequel! This is episode 7 in the series.
you should check out the leathermen style ps, it's an awesome little multi tool plus it's incredibly lightweight which is why I take it backpacking. plus it's pretty dang cheap. note it doesn't come with a knife but I carry an additional knife anyway so it's no issue for me.
I recommend against buying and carrying the "Brooklyn Shorty" by Cold Steal. Cold Steel is a weapons company, mostly knives but all their products are weapons including the "Brooklyn Shortiy". If you get in to an altercation and hit someone with this - law enforcement and the guy you hit can say - this was a 100% weapon to hurt people there is no other purpose. In contrast if you have a $14 Target T-Ball Bat and a well used ball and glove it does the same thing, same weight, excellent one handed club, but it has a legitimate purpose - playing t ball, games of ball catching and hitting with little children. I recommend all self defense weapons except real fire arm guns have some non violent, self defense purpose - like a hammer, bear spray, tactical pens and flashlites etc. I'm liking this video.
2:05 you had me smiling and everything because I’m talking to myself about how my hammock has that stuff then my face changed...really..fast when you said “mora...k..k..kil...killer” 😭

As bears are attracted to bright colours, is bright orange a good idea? And spraying a pissed grizzley with spray might just put him off for 10 seconds.
