Ganondorf's "god" form in this game looks a little like Polygon Man for some reason. If you're wondering, Polygon Man really did come first (as an unused mascot for the original PlayStation).
And, of course, the ultimate Twilit Messenger segment. You know you've played too much Twilight Princess when... you can kill all the Twilit Messengers in this room WITHOUT accidentally turning into a wolf once. It took a bit of practice, but it's doable. And so we get Zant's backstory, as well as some insight into the way the monarchy is run in the Royal Family. Sounds like the throne is passed down to the most worthy, not just the previous ruler's child. Way different than Hyrule's tradition.
Sword swinging actually worked for me in that one room. Three of the shadow beasts came out of the fog and i took care of them then just cleared some fog and a group of them appeared, spin attack, did that about 3-4 times and got 'em all pretty easy.
The big boss key is where the big black waterfall is at you have to use your double claw shots to climb up that wall behind the black waterfall hope that helps anyone else 😋
I learned a lot from these videos that I wouldn't find anywere else, like that First we discovered "Chuck Norris ain't got nothin on Link", and that Chuck Norris doesn't need a Dominion Rod, statues follow him on their own, and now we discovered that the howls of those Twilight creatures are really compliments. Caleb Simpson is the Chuck Norris of Walkthroughs.
I have noticed, and I believe I mentioned this in the video too, that the thing that makes them appear for me was walking as "deep" into the room as I could. Walking around the center does nothing. You want to go as far towards the fog/barrier as you can go. ~ Caleb
I've got the Big Key and beat all those shadow beings. Next time I play, I'll try to beat Zant. You made it look easy, but I think I will struggle :/ Thanks for the great videos.
When I got to the shadow curtain, I peeked in and didn't see anything worth going after, so I moved on. Making it to the boss door only to realize I didn't have the key = instant regret
As you move to the far side of the room (towards where the elevator will show up) more enemies come down repeatedly. That's what triggers them, I'm not sure why, it would make more sense if we were progressing towards that goal. Anyway, you have to stand over there repeatedly to make them all come down and once they're all defeated, the fog will disperse. ~ Caleb
Heh, Zant's not so scary when he takes his mask off and makes those funny noises. Loving the walkthrough, someone stole my gaming system and all my games a few years back and I haven't replaced it yet, but my boyfriend is talking about getting me a Wii soon so I can play Twilight Princess again. Can't wait for the next video :)
great vid as always, but just one thing, im playing TP again and for some reason when I want to do a spin attack the controller doesnt read my movements accurately. I just want to know if this has happened to you, or if it is my nunchuk that is having porblems.
One slash with the Light-Infused Master Sword and the Zant Masks are toast. Don't you wish you had that kind of power against the Zant Hands? Oh, well. I love the music for this dungeon. It just fits in with the tranquility presented by the serenity of the Twilight Realm. Yes, long winded and redundant, but I happen to like how I worded that. Raise your hand if you missed the Big Key your first time playing the game. If you did, don't feel bad. A friend of mine did the exact same thing.
Hmm, for some odd reason, instead of finding a fairy in the room before Zant, I found a red rupee. I even left and came back in, still no fairy. Though, to be fair, I did find an extra one in the City in the Sky (on a window sill in the main room), so I guess it all balances out in a strange, glitchy way.
@eddy7779 it's a medium-long length boss, as you have to fight in many of the previous boss chambers throughout the game. However, you don't take much damage. It's just a long, easy battle
@toxicyoshininja There is already a few in the room when you enter (before running into the fog) I killed them from within the fog, perhaps you ran past one somehow and didn't look outside the fog? ~ Caleb
Caleb, Im having the same issue as some of the people here in 9:06 I noticed the red twili barrier and multiple shadow beasts appear but nothing comes up on mine is there another way to enter the locked door with this glitch?
I remember when I first played this game I thought zant was a really mean guy, but in this cutscene we only see that he is just a fool and a crazy guy, what a dissapointing
quick question, if i forgot to get the final hidden skill before entering the twilight and im almost to Zant, what will happen to the charged sword if i go back to get the move? will it stay charged?
At first I thought right Ganon was gonna be the main bad guy, but then when I started to play twilight princess I thought Zant was gonna be the main bad guy, then I thought we were gonna get Ganon to help us defeat Zant. Then I found out Ganon is the main bad guy and is Zant's "God" from the flash back of Zant. I also thought Zant was gonna be all boss, but then he was all crazy and crap when I got to him and fought him.
I have the same problem in that last room with the boss door where no other things show up.. Just started replaying this game since like 2008 just to finish it for fun. Figures it would glitch like this
@MISSINKREDIBLE01 You have to go back outside, remember those dark waterfall things? Slash your sword and jump onto the platform behind it (I'm not sure which dark waterfall it is^^'') Look up and around you and you'll see something for you to grab onto with your clawshot, keep going up using the clawshot and you'll find the chest[=
Zant was badass till you actually confronted him then anything that made him badass gets thrown out the window you realize hes nuttier then squirrel poop.
Nos this happening to anyone else's game Whenever I go into the black fog before Zant it doesn't initiate the red thingys trapping me with the shadow beasts?! I can't go forward!!!!
colleen hampton Actually, you must have missed the boss key. You know outside area? With the large birds? Well, you should see a "waterfall" of black clouds outside. You must do a spin attack(with full health) in order to slice up the "waterfall." After that, go behind the "waterfall," take out the bird thingies, and use the double clawshot to latch onto the targets on the walls. Keep going up until you find the treasure chest with the boss key. I got stuck on this too. After getting the boss key, then the poles and extra shadow beasts should appear.
Aaandd this is the part of the game where you realize just how much better Zant looks with the fish head mask on and how completely psycho he is xD
That's quite a Zantrum he throws at 12:50 lol
Zant is like a whiny little kid.
He seemed so intimidating before
but now....not so much.
Think that was the whole point.
omg you make it look so easy! When I did it, it was creepy, hard and annoying... I hate Zant's hand..
Ganondorf's "god" form in this game looks a little like Polygon Man for some reason. If you're wondering, Polygon Man really did come first (as an unused mascot for the original PlayStation).
Zant went insane after he was denied "The Power of the Ruler." Which explains his awkward movements and dancing.
I like how they made Zant and Ghirahim flamboyant and crazy to contrast the seriousness of Ganondorf and Demise.
And, of course, the ultimate Twilit Messenger segment. You know you've played too much Twilight Princess when... you can kill all the Twilit Messengers in this room WITHOUT accidentally turning into a wolf once. It took a bit of practice, but it's doable.

Um...he said that

in the trone room, when Midna said ''Zant'' it sounded like ''judas''...
nice and structured walkthrough - this is how they all should be :)
good job!
13:21 majoras mask moon

Me when my game crashes without saving.
Well, that or I throw my controller at the TV. :/
Caleb, has the spin attack given you any problem, I mean, been unresponsive? Mine is a bit unresponsive.
When zant took off he mask my reaction was " O_O CAT PERSON MUCH ?!?!?"
Hey Zant! Nice sandals! xD
I need help. When you are about to enter boss door. It won't let me through and fog won't remove
That was the weirdest cutscene I've ever seem xD
More like creepiest
Those translucent glowing-line platforms make me want to play the soundtrack to the movie TRON.
Wow Zant is funny. Look at the way he dances around! Kinda like a... puppet.
One slash with the Light-Infused Master Sword and the Zant Masks are toast. Don't you wish you had that kind of power against the Zant Hands? Oh, well.

@tiger Lilly same here ! Was I supposed to get a different key for this door? I'm shocked it won't let me in! 😣
Nice shot with the bow dude!
Hmm, for some odd reason, instead of finding a fairy in the room before Zant, I found a red rupee. I even left and came back in, still no fairy. Oops, meant this video. Start watching at 5:30 and I show where to get it.

@xyZora
Sometimes. If you have problems with it, instead of shaking it back and forth, try punching to the left instead.
~ Caleb

you know, the fact that you lose all respect for zant during that cutscene doesnt make the game any worse. it takes a master to do somthing like that!
I don't know what to do, the poles won't pop up so I could kill the things and I've walked in and out of the room
At the very end of the previous video, behind the waterfall between the two doors.
~ Caleb
Haha zant's getting a hissy fit!!! :)
Zant is actually really fun, because of his flappy arms and clowny way of fighting, so i actually laughed and beat him without a problem.
9:10 Lol, I just stood by the edge of the fog and used mortal draw to kill them off one by one.
Most. Badass. Nightlight. Ever. Of all time.
Caleb, Im having the same issue as some of the people here in 9:06 I noticed the red twili barrier and multiple shadow beasts appear but nothing comes up on mine is there another way to enter the locked door with this glitch?
11:52 Zant's doin the chicken dance xD
I thought Zant would be less gitty and didn't expect him to look like that, I thought he'd be a calm evil bad ass...
how did you get the big key?
its funny seeing zant hit his head on the ground he sounds so childish and reminds me of the chickens lolz with the bald head
up until the cut scene with zant, i thought he was pretty intimidating. now, he's an overdramatic baby
I remember when I first played this game I thought zant was a really mean guy, but in this cutscene we only see that he is just a fool and a crazy guy, what a dissapointing
The fog is not lifting... And i am only fighting one beast at a time and there are only 3
Determination Pants same here
Milkshake Fish no it's happening to me too
Gotta shake nunchuk
So, was Ganondorf in the Twilight Realm too or did he contact Zant from the dimension he was trapped in.
quick question, if i forgot to get the final hidden skill before entering the twilight and im almost to Zant, what will happen to the charged sword if i go back to get the move? will it stay charged?
Yup. It's a permanent upgrade.
Ah shit I missed the dungeon key and now I gotta backtrack
I hate when that happens!
End of the last video.
~ Caleb
(Zant with helmet) Me:.. creepy
(Zant with mouth showing) Me: ugh... creepier.. cool!
(Zant takes off Helemt) Me: ... LOL!
At 12:52 zant apparently knows how I feel when I fall into the abbess
i liked this game a lot because it was kind of more for older audiences. and it was darker
There are too many small keys that come from large chests.
woah Zant scared me in that cutscene
I don't really understand. I only get three shadowbeasts when I enter the room before Zant. What am I doing wrong?
I even left and came back and the poles still won't show up
The ending cutscene made me giggle
Me can't find boss key 😣
Awesome thanks :D
When i saw Zants real face i screemd at the TV: THAT'S WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE??!
I was so shocked!
Zant, Ganondorf, and just for the heck of it, Wesker disliked this
is the light master sword supaost to be a refrence to wind waker fully powerd master sword?
I facepalmed at 5:48 because I only saw the clawshot vantage point to the left, and spent forever trying to get it, not seeing the one to the right
It's funny how link does not take fall damage... like at 6:10 or something he falls and doesn't take damage. To much MC
At first I thought right Ganon was gonna be the main bad guy, but then when I started to play twilight princess I thought Zant was gonna be the main bad guy, then I thought we were gonna get Ganon to help us defeat Zant. Zant reminds me of the Joker, except 10 times more insane and melodramatic
At the end of the video, Zant has a hissy fit.
i was like HO FRICK! when he went up close
wait how many vids are there?
The Twilight Palace reminds me of the Tron movies. O_O
@johnniestrong23
I work full time and I'm not currently taking college classes. I don't get a summer vacation =P
~ Caleb
I must have missed it. where do you get the big key?
+Prussiasloveless 5:36 - Location of the big key
I have the same problem in that last room with the boss door where no other things show up.. Just started replaying this game since like 2008 just to finish it for fun. Figures it would glitch like this
Wouldnt it be an infinately more epic game, if this was the first time in Twilight princess that nintendo revealed Ganon.
Is ther any way to mute the sound? This track gives me the creeps.
Is zant a hard boss?
what do i do if the tons of things don't come down and the fog doesn't lift?
Zant is scarier with mask than without O.o
11:25: Coolest. Helmet. Ever. No arguing.
these orb puzzles remind me of portal 2
Never mind I found the big boss key 😊 now
@MISSINKREDIBLE01

Zant is better with the mask lol
Your name is so epic!!!
MusicDragon Mountain Thank you haha :)
4:34 did anyone else think of the overlord death animation from starcrafts while he was shooting the kargarack?
Zant was badass till you actually confronted him then anything that made him badass gets thrown out the window you realize hes nuttier then squirrel poop.
Nos this happening to anyone else's game
Whenever I go into the black fog before Zant it doesn't initiate the red thingys trapping me with the shadow beasts?! I can't go forward!!!!
Same crap happened to me. What the hell is this?
JRvidz Television Right?!
colleen hampton
Actually, you must have missed the boss key. You know outside area? With the large birds? Well, you should see a "waterfall" of black clouds outside. JRvidz Television yeah i figured it out
I killed the first beast and entered the fog exactly the same way as you, and yet no beasts descended!! Help:(
why does zant meow??
im really confused. i walk in & theres only 3 shadow beasts & no twilight barrier come up..please help me
zant is a lil baby
13:09 Run; It's the moon!
I didn't get ambushed by the shadow beasts either, just the three at the beggining XP HELP MEEEEEEE!
@V13tSt3pz You have to go back to the area that is outside, where there's a big black fall, yo cross it and if you look up u'll see it.
