Why is WALL-E being in the Criterion Collection considered controversial? As someone who used to but no longer watches Disney movies, WALL-E does indeed look like a movie that would be on Criterion in my opinion. But also as someone who has sworn off Disney completely, I don't really like the fact that it's on there now.
Some people think it’s not “worthy” of Criterion. To me it’s not a huge deal, I grew up with that movie, so I want the best possible version. Like you, though, I’m getting tired of Disney. It is funny though considering all the films Criterion has and the PG-rated Disney movie is the most controversial.
Nice collection! These are the ones I have so far Hausu Paris, Texas Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me Mulholland Drive (also my favourite film :) ) Blue Velvet Seven Samurai Fantastic Planet Funny Games The Piano Teacher Videodrome Naked Lunch Cure Memories of Murder Y Tu Mama Tambien Ghost World
6:25 so apparently it’s in a blue ray case is because paramount like distributed the criterion and also did almost everything els criterion just provided a little or something like that no idea where they came into it
Why do you buy movies that you don't plan to watch or haven't watched, isn't that like a hoarder's mentality or something?. My approach is i watch online on free websites or netflix and I purchase the ones that i want to keep in my collection.

Thank you! No matter the size of the collection, what matters is owning your favorite films on physical media. Happy collecting!
