Yeah I just bought it from BCF, it took 15 mins to do each lens properly and no hurrying, mine were proper yellow and looked terrible now they look like I’ve put new ones in, a product that actually does what it says it will, didn’t expect it to be so good.
If anybody is reading this please please please buy this product!! After debating which product to get I settled on this one. With a little hard work and a drill, my headlights look pretty much factory new! I drive a 2007 Honda Accord and have never cleaned the headlights so there was 12 years of buildup and crap making my headlights barely effective. This product made a huge improvement on my headlights. They came out even better than what this video shows!! Tell me the last time you’ve seen a product outperform an advertisement lol! And no I am not getting paid for this at all, I wish I was lol
'Finished doing my Ladies 2006 Vibe they look like new again. But! When you turn on the headlights you can see that the lens are crazed all the way through where the lamps shine through because of the heat from them just in that area and, that crazed area is hot to the touch while the rest of the lens is cool. Thought the lens is now perfectly clear on the outside.I still recommend this product *****
I just finished on my 2004 Audi. I am astonished. Absolutely astonished. Several other attempts in the past with varying degrees of improvement. Nothing close to this, which I attribute to (i) three separate (but easy) sanding with a cordless drill, and (ii) ability to polish more than once. The look brand new.
2007 Sierra headlights never changed, 12 yrs foggy but with this kit it’s almost new. BUT if your lens are caked from within then this isn’t ideal. I used a cordless drill for the sanding but felt a cable drill would yield better results which I didn’t have but I am amazed at the end result.
Just applied today. I’ve used Sylvania brand a couple of times before. Advantage to this is the drill attachment. Less tedious and tiring than by hand. Outcome is same as Sylvania brand which only lasts a couple of years- I suspect this will probably only last about the same. I think that final polishing step is key and applying final wipe evenly can be a little tricky. Don’t worry if it looks worse during first sanding steps. The final polishing will be how it will ultimately look.

Holy SCHNIKES this kit REALLY works! My headlights are better than new and the cutoff in the freeway is AMAZING! Highly recommend and I was skeptical! I’m just at a loss is words cause my car looks new nowZ THANKS?!
I had an old kit that I used on a different car at least TWELVE years ago, and gave it a shot. This was before they included a drill setup, so it was me and the three sanding pads and about twenty minutes a headlight, but they came out great. I used the last of the lubricant on the first headlight, so I used Windex for the second, and I think the Windex actually felt better while sanding than the lubricant did! As long as they’ve kept up the quality from the past (and especially if you get the drill attachments!), how could I not recommend this stuff!?
The shape of my headlights forced me to use the sand disc by hand in order to do a better job; but overall great product. Oh and I also bought spray clear sealant, I made sure to buy the UV resistant kind to keep the headlights from getting yellowish as long as possible.
I was a little iffy on Rain-X because their glass cleaner is crud, but I tried this kit on my headlights and they are spit-shining. If you don't know what you're doing, you will scratch your headlights a bit, other than that I would definitely reccomend this.
My kit didn't come with the drill attachment! I was so pissed off I still did all the buffing by hand! Great product, but next time please ensure the contents are complete.
Ok, so how long does it work? Does anyone have any info on how long you're headlight lens stays clear? I've had mine done a few times in the past but only stayed nice looking for a couple months to half a year. Nothing has worked longer than that. At this point, I'm ready to either buy a new lens or pay to have someone put on a protective film.
Depends on the longevity of the sealant . If you want your headlights to last longer you can use a ceramic coating instead of a sealant which will last longer depending on the ceramic coat you use
@@trystingallaty5465should be fine the sealant only lasts about a year anyways so you should need to reapply here again shortly. You can buy a uv sealer that lasts longer. Think it's a ceramic coating of some kind. Not sure of the name.

I did the restoration and it looked great but when I went to put on the clear coat it streaked. There was so much sealant coming off the wipe patch and it did not disapate. Any suggestions?
yes, the restore kit both cleans the headlights but also protects it for multiple years. The product protects the headlights from harsh uv rays (which is a factor in yellowing and fogging your headlights
The set is not bad, but I categorically. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using a finishing cloth with varnish. It cannot be applied evenly without streaks or smudges. Everything was fine, I got a beautiful transparent headlight, and then as if someone spit on it. The effect is one to one. like saliva on a headlight.
Yo not even capping, this ish actually worked for real.
This is the comment I needed

Worked perfectly! My headlights look nearly brand new!

Works exactly as they show it. Very valuable product! Saved me from buying and replacing a headlight.
Used this on my mini van and this absolutely worked !!!! The headlights look brand new
Used this to restore an acrylic aquarium. Worked like a charm.

Worked like its suppose to. Looks great and easy to follow instruction.

The sealant included will do that though...
What UV clear sealant did you buy and how has it lasted?
This product worked perfect for me.
Wow it’s a excellent product, my old headlight looks like new ones.
Work perfect 👌🏼. The headlights is like new !!!
Works super well thank you for saving me a lot❤️❤️
Glad it helped!
Yea I've always loved what Rain-X puts on the market next to Megiuars.
This product is amazing, headlights like brand new. 🙌

I can't wait to use this! I tried toothpaste to no avail. Darwin (my car) will be happy.
Much improved!!!
It worked! Thanks guys.
Thanks for this video!

Most uv protective sealers only last 6-12months before you should hit it with another coat
you arent supposed to use another coat! You must PROTECT the coat using wax or ceramic coating!
Is that protectant stuff like a clear coat?
yes it is clearcoat wipe
that is why gloves are required when handling them
Thanks for posting
Would it be unwise to add an additional clear coat after the wipe has cured on the lens for more than 8 hours??
So basically can I add another thing of clear coat after I've already finished or will that interfere with the process
@@trystingallaty5465should be fine the sealant only lasts about a year anyways so you should need to reapply here again shortly. You can buy a uv sealer that lasts longer. Think it's a ceramic coating of some kind. Not sure of the name.
yes it would be unwise to use more than one coat because having another coat will cause blurry headlights
YOU DO NOT REAPPLY CLEARCOAT
you have to use wax/ceramic/ppf to protect the clearcoat
I used this kit on my daughters ‘12 Camry. It did so well! It didn’t take long either. Hopefully it stays.
Wait 8 hours before exposing to the elements... so I need a garage to do this in?
Matt H or you could cover it using tarpaulin or something similar
no just make sure it isnt a windy day or raining/snowing

Can I re use the sand paper
DGAFM VLOGS yes

Polish it again but lightly
Yea you fucked up
Oddly, I had no desks in my kit.
Lol!! Glad I wasn't the only one.
Does it last over time?

Well seems like u don't know what ur talking about
-- Okay, but I don't drive a Honda. 😁
It’s not made exclusively for Honda. That’s just the car they used as an example
I do
Okay, I have seen videos of people using this kit Without a freaking power drill! lol wtf
McKenzie Shoals
Gonna do this to yo Mama's truck!
Hester Lock
Nicholaus Junction
Sally Mall
Shields Islands
Ena Mall
Yo I’m not even capping this shii didn’t work for me👎🏼
Skill issue
I guess you need a drill because the kit only, for hand use was useless!!! Didn't do anything. And yes, I can read and follow the instructions.
germanylicious sure enough unless you can match the rpm that the drill spins at
