Thank you. I'm currently in a sling and approaching 3 weeks since I fractured my proximal humerus greater tuberosity.i have been checking out videos to see exactly what it means and treatments. This was useful.
@Doron Dori I'm great now. I was in a sling for six weeks. Then I did two or three months of physical therapy. It's been over a year, and I'm great. Have 98% movement. I should probably work on weight lifting a little, but I do as well as I did before the break. I'm 69. Yes, I have no problem lifting my hand or reaching behind me.
I've been very badly managed my fracture has rotated and dropped so now it's it's angulated and 8 weeks later I'm still in sling and can only lift my arm 35 degrees
Hi Sir on april-2021 ORIF was done on my humerus fracture. Plates and screw are inserted. Screws and plates are part of the body for life time or it should remove? Kindly suggest me sir.
A nondisplaced proximal humerus fracture is when there is a fracture but this has not caused the normal anatomical alignment of the proximal humerus to change. For example, say there is a fracture through the surgical neck but the shaft and humeral head have maintained a normal head-shaft angle and the humeral head articular surface is still articulating with the glenoid, this would be a non-displaced fracture. You can use this same idea with any fracture, if the normal bony alignment and position has not changed, it is non-displaced.
Your videos are amazing ♥️
Please continue ♥️♥️

Will try to make a video at some point.
did you get grashey and AP mixed up at 09:00? I thought grashey view there is no overlap between the glenoid and head of humerus?
Thanks for pointing this out! you are correct
