Hey man are you still active and making videos? I just joined the ortho department and have a bunch of questions regarding hardware eg like when to use cortical screws vs locking screws? Are compression screws the same as cortical? I hear the surgeon asking for both sometimes etc. I really love your videos and hope you could make a vid on this ie hardware and load bearing and load sharing etc

@Doron Dori I'm great now. I was in a sling for six weeks. Then I did two or three months of physical therapy. It's been over a year, and I'm great. Have 98% movement. I should probably work on weight lifting a little, but I do as well as I did before the break. I'm 69. Yes, I have no problem lifting my hand or reaching behind me.

The coaptationn splint is not well tolerated in this population. As you can image there is excess soft tissue from the chest pushing into the axillary fold. This can cause skin irritation and can worsen the deformity.

Also, is there any specific exercise you would recommend to patients for exercising right after the surgical procedure? (currently on day 4)
