It'll be cool to get a helmet like this but much quieter. I bought a torc T1 for the style and it was obnoxiously loud with the similar construction of this glamster. It all forced me to buy a Shoei neotec 2 which I love. I still miss the style of my old helmet. But the neotech 2 is quiet and comfortable. If you can make this glamster quieter I'd be all in.
Hi Adolfo! To be honest we have not heard of anything like this from our customers also, one of our colleagues has one and he has not experienced such a thing either :)
Nice vid! I like the design a lot, would love to see a direct comparison video next to the arai (same size) to see how bulkier it is. I was planning to get an EX-Zero for the summer season, but i'm having second thoughts now. I ride a ducati monster s2r and i'm not quite sure if the EX-Zero is a good choise for its riding position. Does the Glamster have a higher brow than the EX-Zero?
We don't currently have the new Arai to show you this comparison, but compared to the rest of our range the Glamster is very obvious in the difference in sizing. The Ex- Zero compared to the Glamster as far as brow height is basically identical, being an obvious different design to the aperture in the Glamster is larger. - UR
You are likely to be a Large, but if you get in touch with our customer service team with your head measurement in inches, they will be able to help you further.
Hi Joachim, I'm not going to lie, I have not ridden with the Neo Rapide but I have tried it. The Arai felt substantially bulkier which reflects the extra weight. As I mentioned in the video, based on the cost being lower, the shell being slimmer profile and my preference of the looks of the Glamster, it would be an easy choice for me. I guess if you prefer the Rapide Neo looks or want the extra bulk for reassurance / possible sound proofing then go for the Arai.
